After 3 months of being out of action and no sign of anything happening I think it's time the CO fixes up the cache or archives it.
It's been 3 months since the owner claimed that they would 'fix' the cache. Can anyone give an update as to what is causing the delay?
After looking for ages found in the water and contents scattered.. collected about put back

Cache filled with urine have now disposed of cache. NO LONGER CACHE IN THIS AREA.
After success with with the last cache "Wilson" we headed on down to the cache! Soon after reaching 100m of the cache, we realised we couldn't find a set path. So, worst came worse when we bolted through someone's private property. After almost breaking our legs, we finally reached the beach. Soon after, we located this cache. Awesome spot, signed the log! Found with LoneLobster TFTC!
Was quite hard for us to find an access point to the beach from where we were so we ended up going onto someone's private property and making a sprint for it down the dunes, after we came down to the beach from the dunes we searched for an opening. When we found the opening we excitedly ran up found the cache, signed the log and found it with CanyoneroCrew! TFTC!
Love the sand dunes didn't know they existed. Beware of snakes!! Skin of a snake found. Wear closed in shoes and long pants.
Watch out for snakes and most definetly wear shoes. not very hard to find

Time to stretch the legs after the rain that had been bucketing down with storms. Headed out from the hill above Noosa Junction, down through the fire trails on the Noosa National Park and onto the beach to pick up some caches. The wind was howling straight along the beach whipping up white froth and blowing it along like cappuccino froth. Crossed the creek without any problems as the tide was on the way out, and headed up into the dunes.
Now I don't know whether anyone else has noticed or has had similar experiences but locations like this seem to attract a certain group of individuals who are not geocachers or if they are, they are certainly looking for geocaches. So every now and again when looking for Geocaches I seem to happen to find these characters deeply immersed in some sort of ritual. Today just happened to be one of them.
Usually a cache rating , so has Difficulty, Terrain and size I think this would have been one of those occasions when the level of tactful retreat and find a different route would have given me level 5 bonus points.
Nevertheless a way was found around the obstacles to GZ. The container is rapidly being overtaken by ground cover but is sill at hint, but which one is still for you to find out.
This will have been my1432nd find. On the year of 1432
Jan van Eyck's Ghent Altarpiece is first presented to the public. (Nothing to do with guys in the sand dunes).

Bit blowy but sun is out. Found small geotrail from the road and arrived slightly south to GZ no need to cross creek that contains sewage outflow. Cache was fairly difficult to locate as there were more that one of the trees indicated, it certainly was not at the obvious one, finally found it deep in fresh groundcover. Amazing moisture can make it's way though a plastic screw top container and tow plastic bags.

Well what an adventure this turned out to be.
So I parked up on the main road in a nice wide shoulder section, and wandered along the path to check out the best access. Seems it is by the beach and well looks like crossing the creek is a must as well.
I figure not a problem I would just find the narrowest section and take a jump at it. Well that was found and it looked good stepped back a couple of paces for a little run up, and leap and SPLASH. Looks like I missed by half a boot, which of course sent water and sand flying up all over me. Plus one wet sock.
So one wet foot and the rest did not make much difference from the sweat. So off and up the dunes I headed, only problem ended up on the steepest part, and not only is my shoe wet, but not both are full of sand as well
I got on top the dune and soon enough was in the right spot with a little looking around the cache come to light and was soon signed.
The journey back was almost as eventful. With more sand working it's way into my shoes. Plus crossing back over the creek, I attempted the same routine, a run a jump and a SPLASH, and not both feet are wet. Sigh oh well, what can you do.

Came to find cache at night could used a better torch loved the trees in my search found it out last great hunt
Great time had at 10.30 pm moon glow found it by torch light love the adventure
Out walking along the beach today with thehairbear and geoson and we decided to have a look for this cache. No worries crossing the water as it was a warm day and it was nice and cool.
Once at GZ it was a short search and the cache was soon in hand. Once the log was signed the cache was returned as found.
We did enjoy the views before departing back to the beach to pop more blue bottles that had washed ashore.

After popping in to the Peregian markets and before lunch, I thought this one sounded interesting and was nearby. We parked opposite no. 42 which was next to the path to the beach.
Down the hill, through the tunnel under the road, down steps onto the beach - blustery wind with light showers made it a bit unpleasant. A and I marched long tne beach leaving the others behind sheltering near the steps. Had to walk a fair way past trying to find a way of crossing the creek without getting wet - in the end this was not possible, jumped across where the creek met the ocean but still ankle deep, so had one very wet leg and shoe. Trekked back up to the to the dunes with A trailing behind. Cross wind very cold.
Battled the spiky asparagus fern up the hill, lost sight of A, she must have gone back to the others after all. Reached the dune summit following some little trails and there was the "secret sand dune" sliding down into the creek facing west. Grabbed the cache and signed. Took marble, left plastic toy knife.
J phoned then and could see me from the other side, they had moved the car down closer to the creek. Signs about effluent in the creek - maybe not a good dune to slide down too far !
Great views - then the trek back down....again hard to cross the creek, just waded through shindeep water this time - soaked jeans and shoes that soon became crumbed sausages on my feet.
Found A again on the beach and we ran back in light rain, meeting J and E on the main road.
A nice little adventure - made a tad uncomfortable in the current weather conditions though.

Really enjoyed this little adventure getting to this cache! I didn't read the description properly and ended up parking on the other side of the bridge to that stated. I got abit confused at first as to which way to go but soon spotted the sand dune from the other side of the creek. Once i figured out where i needed to go, it was just a matter of working out how to get across the creek.
A bit of a wade across the creek in a shallow spot and then abit of a clamber up the side of the dune had me at GZ. No idea what tree the hint related to but the coordinates were good and the cache was quickly found. Picked up a TB that wasn't logged into this cache and signed log. Loved the mission getting to this one, TFTC and greetings from New Zealand!

Booyah Found it!
We had just finished our dinner and I felt like doing a night cache for a change.. twisted geo husbands arm to go.. mentioned something about a tunnel and the fact that he could bring his super duper torch (this thing is brighter than my car headlights it so bright!) and it didn't take much persuading him.
Parking at the suggested address off we went. Took a wrong turn on the boardwalk and ended up at the lower end of some properties. Along the back wall of the properties someone had taken the time to do the gardening. I noticed some scratched out graffiti on the wall and wondered why anyone would bother to pretty up the garden here. Once we figured out we had gone the wrong way, we got out of there fast before someone spotted the torch light and thought we were there to graffiti as well..
Found the underpass (you wouldn't have missed it during the day!).. No lights working. A bit creepy.
From here I stopped reading the description as we went the wrong way again. Not complaining however as we did enjoy the walk. It wasn't as cold as it has been over the last few weeks. we ended up at a old road/service road. We were 60 m from the cache! But Im sure that wasn't the way we were intended to go. I quickly checked the satellite on the map.. DOH! couldn't have got through that way if we tried as we would have had to swim first!
We decided having walked so far already that we would keep going in the same direction past the cache and look for a beach access.. we went under the big bridge and over the creek and up the hill some before deciding to head back= Back under the bridge and UP the service road.
Finally we found our access point. Not wanting to take our runners off we walked on the hardest sand we could find.
We then spotted where the creek met the ocean and knew we had to get over it. walking up and down along the creek to find the shallowest place to cross.
Thats when we noticed the fish jumping.. they were going crazy! Then I spotted what i thought was a big fish but turned out to be an EEL! the eel was after a feed and the smaller fish were trying to get away! So cool!
We decided to take our shoes off to cross (no where near where the eel was!)
Another bad turn and we were 30metres away but obviously not the right path. (Difficult to do that in the dark with no shoes on!)
When we found the right path it could not have been easier! This was really worth finding!
8.40pm "BOOYAH FOUND IT"! BONUS! I wasn't expecting to find 2 trackables! I tried to pull the second one out to look at it and accidentally broke it. I will repair it before moving it on. Left a trackable of my own in place of the two I found.

This is such a great section of the beach. Taking the chance to visit a group of traclables.
I almost came here yesterday, but then I had to run away from the rain. So I returned today from the beach side, getting my feet wet. The landcape here is really amazing!
Finally I even learned something today: Ever since I arrived here I wondered how this kind of tree is called, thanks to the hint I now know
Thanks for showing that beautifull spot!
I didn't have anything to trade, but I took away two rusty batteries, that were staining the cache.

Found this but container was full of water. Emptied it out but log was soaked through and impossible to sign. Have added photo as proof of find. Will add maintenance log as well. TFTC
The container was full of water, the log bag was open and the log absolutely soaked. Needs new log and bag and container to be completely dried. We managed to drain most of the water out but it's a icky mess. We were unable to sign log but took photo and have logged this as found. Cheers
Container has begun to disintegrate due to sun exposure. It broke in my hand when I picked it up. I had some first aid gear so I tried to patch it up but it needs a new "Fruit Salad" jar.
The CO is unavailable to complete maintanence on this cache at the present time. Could the next person to visit this cache, if you have a spare container could you please replace it, (it is a 1 kilogram fruit jar), thank you. If not the CO will fix it when he is available.
Yesterday, I had a look at doing this cache from the road and quickly decided against that. This morning I was back for a serious attempt, this time walking up the beach from Castaways Beach. It was a pleasant paddle in the surf until I reached the creek...which did not look a very inviting colour. Still, by coming up from the south I didn't need to go in it.
Skirting the creek, I made my way up to the top of the sand dune. I carefully made my way along the top edge, trying to not slide down to the bottom. I soon reached a point where it was time to leave the top of the dune and make my way over to the cache. Once at GZ, it was a quick find and I was ready to retrace my steps...but I didn't need to. I found an easier way out that wasn't particularly obvious on the way in.
Thanks Waz149 for putting this cache here.

Shhhhh. It's a secret. Was here with mountainman on New Years Day. Burnt the hell out of our feet after tackling this one the wrong way. Good spot.
Nice location. Took nothing. Left a traveller and a silver plated bluenose coin (aka: a Canadian dime)
What an awesome hike! Had to go barefoot for part of it across bloody hot sand, around and through water. Finally Dahumbug and I made it there! Favorite point from me!
This is truly one of those exceptional caches/places that geocaching is about. First I decided to approach this one from the bike path on the north of the creek, this became a 4.5 terrain rating approach as I skirted the creek hugging onto what ever I could grasp to prevent plunging down into the water below.
Second I then skirted close to the creek on the southern side as I got close to the cache, once again I found myself on a steep slope only this time it was a moving wall of sand with nothing to grab onto.
This is a magic spot and I'm very happy to have found this one. Look forward to more places like this in the future

This was a fun adventure for Lady membsec, Net88, Angela minus Dave and I today. We found a convenient car park and then followed a few local muggles down a slope, across some steep rocks right next to the creek, and then out to the beach. Our next obstacle was the creek but we found a shallow enough spot for us all to cross over.
Next was a sand dune climb and then finally we were at GZ. We fossicked around in the scrubby grass and then Lady M came up with the cache What a lovely spot for a cache!

Found this cache whilst out for a ladies caching day with Nyssaflutterby, Angela minus Dave and Lady Membsec. We parked at the top of the opposite hill and after walking for a minute or two came to a smallish creek. We were so close! But no one really wanted to walk across water that looked more like tea and we couldn't see the bottom. Where do we go?
We decided to follow some small muggle children along the rocky path to get to the open beach. We found it quite easy and there was only one or two times that I thought hmmmm don't want to fall right now. We were soon on the other side of the rocks on the sand and that was where the hard part began!
We were walking on sand so fine it reminded me of flour. Every step took the energy of four normal steps. We eventually got to a spot to cross the creek and we were surprised to find the water so cold in the middle of the afternoon! We then had to cross the sand up to the dunes which seemed to take a very long time. The climb up the dune itself wasn't too bad and the walk from the top to GZ was quite nice.
The cache was spotted within a few minutes and the logbook was signed. After the cache was replaced as found we headed back down the dune, along the soft sand, through the freezing creek, back along the horrible sand, up some rocky ledges, up a steep sandy hill and then up the driveway/road at the top to the car. I was very red and thirsty by the time i reached the car but all the same Thanks for the cache waz149

Out and about with the lovely Nyssaflutterby, Net88, Angela and Dave in the speedy spangle. Male membsec and I came from a different direction than the one we choose today and we gave up half way there. Today coming from this different direction we managed to find this rather challenging terrain cache. We went back to the car in a more direct route, however the route to the cache was far more interesting!!! We loved putting our feet and legs in the water as it was rather hot work grabbing caches today.

Find a place to pull up and continue on foot but there is one big issue.... How do we get 'over there?!'
Hmmm. Lets follow the muggles!!
The slope looked treacherous in places but we were cachers and used to finding our way through tough terrain! Over, along, around and... Over there looks good. Finally on the right side and up we head.
Wow, look at those storm clouds, did you hear that thunder?! Wonder if that will come this way? Onwards and upwards and I just ran out of water. But there's a cache here close by. I think I can smell it! Ok, maybe that's the rain coming our way!!
Cache is located in record time and now the journey back to Spangle. I'm taking a short cut this time!!!

Note to self geotrails don't always lead to geocaches. After 10 minutes stumbling around in all the wrong places, geokid and I found what we were looking for. TFTC

Early walk to avoid the crowds headed south from sunrise beach. Found the requisite lost dune and quickly snaffled the cache. Was surprised to find an enthusiastic trio of anglers trolling the lake. Especially given the recycled effluent sign. Thanks for the escape
Found on a holiday to the Sunshine coast. Had to retrace steps to find route into GZ but all turned out well. Many thanks to the CO's for the placement and maintenace of these caches. Greetings from NZ. TFTC
After living so close to the Cache for more than a month it was time for me to get it.

Wow! This was a tough one. I should have read where to park.
Actually I was bit afraid to fall into that black soup down there. Even crossing it wasn't that nice
But finally I made it and the cache was easy to find at the end.

Visited with Nana Nel while she made a find for this Cache.
Took the chance to visit trackables travelling with me on day 304 of my personal challenge to complete 366 continual days caching including the 29th February (something you can only do every 4th year) and left "Finland Geocoin Nelli" to continue it's travells with others.

Found this morning on an early walk before it gets too hot. Left trackable and a teaspoon from my old teaspoon collection. This is 34th day of consective caching. TB Budda is missing from this cache. Thanks for the cache Waz149.
Found our way down to the beach.
Off with the socks and boots and walked across the creek.
Soon at Gz and began our search and cache was soon in hand.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks waz149

Took two dogs and a few friends for a lovely walk along the beach.
We did end up having to carry our shoes!!!
Name of cache really matches the location.

Captured the nearby munzee and thought we would grab this cache while in the area. Had a little paddle in the water. There are plenty of dogs here! Was in need of refreshments after the hill climb. A lovely spot to enjoy the beach. TFTC
Out on a caching run with geo-fiancee. Nice walk along the beach on a great day. Battery in the phone decided to die as i approched GZ. Luckily geo-fiancee found the cache while i was restarting the phone.

#764. Took a lovely walk along the beach on a gorgious winters day. Carfully followed geopath to GZ watching every step of the way. Son made a quick find grabbing container, he does not seem to share my fear of the local wildlife LOL. Was glad to get down to the beach. Thanks for bringing us to a lovely spot. TFTC.

I came very close to this the other day with Brother Colin. We had an attack of the lazy cachers, and did not want to get wet feet, so we left it. Back in Noosa today with pre-wetted feet from mountainbiking I decided to take the walk. Nice easy find. I met a family wandering up the sand dunes I was leaving. Little Miss Geo following GPS upwards. Had a quick chat before heading off
I have been itching to get this cache for a week... for two reasons. (1) it was a nice 3km walk down the beach from our holiday rental at Sunshine Beach, and (2) I a TB with a mission, and the clock is ticking.
So, finally today I got a chunk of the chillibutts team (and grandpa) to knock off the 3km walk.
Nice walk it was too! We saw a fish get landed from a beach fisherman, lots of surfers and met another cacher (nice to meet you TeamDFL). All this after a great day up at Eumandi Markets.
The cache find was a challenge tho ... the GPS had us at 5m away for a LONG time! When the GPSr finally came to its senses, we had overshot the cache by 45m!!!! Yup! Not happy. My 9 year old got some of the blame (oops). LOL. By then the kids were complaining about the itchy/scratchy under growth, so we aborted and went to the beach. I then went back solo and the GPSr behaved and signed and dropped the TB in quick time. Picked up a TB and dropped a chillibutts 5 pathtag.
Happy travels to the 21st B’day TB, hope it gets there in time! TFTC

We parked about 140m from this one hoping for a quick grab. But it was not to be. Thick bush was between us at GZ so we went what we think was the intended way - around the creek, wade over to the beach and then double back on the other side to find the cache. Awesome spot , although I'm not sure I would want to swim in there looking at the treated sewerage signs! An FP from us. TFTC.
TFTC waz149,
It seems a long time ago now that you placed this Cache and we had to leave before it became active. A credit for your first hide. It is a great Cache location and after a stole along the beach with Nana Nel and a group of trackables, it was time to make our find and log our visit. This was find number 600 on the 122nd day of continuous caching. We added 2 Travel Bugs (The Buddha and Clancy the Dinasour to the Cache along with a Soccer Ball Key Ring) which we hope will encourage others to visit and make swaps, giving trackable owners the world over the chance to experience the great views and this beach. Has a favourite from me for the experience it provides.

Out and about in Noosa, whilst my geospouse had to work
Even though the rain was drizzling down, I decided to have a go at this one, as a beach is definitely my favourite place. I parked at the staircase on Orient Drive and wandered down to the sand. Had a lovely walk, then realised I would have to take off my shoes to continue, so a rainy, sandy, barefoot walk was taken. Bliss! So relaxing... Had a wonderful time exploring the Secret Sand-Dune, and made an easy find at GZ. Then on the walk back I was able to simply enjoy the open ocean views for 180 degrees. Sigh! TFTC, waz149. A favourite point from me

After walking from Wilson, we made a meal of this and made it much harder than it should have been.
We tried to approach it from the bridge, by trying to bush bash our way in, only to have our attempt thwarted by thick, thorny scrub!!
Then took the way as described, across the beach and stream and up the beach to the hidden dune.
Cache was found quickly and the essentials performed.
Then back by the beach, stream (water is very cold on my delicate toes!!), and on to the next......Einstein.
