Well Kel279 I feel as if I have only found your caches today. Thanks for placing so many in this area. A quick find in the busy part of the park.
Thanks for the cache Kel279
Thanks for the cache Kel279
Really liked this cache. Went with sorcysal and we were looking at the same thing from different angles. I found it by standing back and looking for differences.
Had to drive up to Yarraville to check on something so made the most of a couple of nearby caches. TFTC
Came here after orienteering in this park. Drjim7 had already found it so he was laughing at me and teasing me until I found it. TFTC.
Skived off from street orienteering to nab a few caches. This had me looking odd and dogless until a couple with pooch nicked off. The search could then begin properly then and I soon had the cache in hand (despite the jumpy phone satellite reception).
Nicely done, took me a couple of minutes to find it. Good coords and nice engineering. Thanks Kel.
Found this very cleverly hidden cache today. I had to wait for a dog and his owner to vacate the area before I could find this one. I wasn't reading my gps correctly at first and looked in all the wrong places first. I then realised where it was and it was in the third place that I looked.
Thanks for the cache Kel279.
Thanks for the cache Kel279.
Found on a sunny Sunday afternoon with absolutely no one about. I had previously sought this one prior to the recent Williamstown pub dinner but arrived here in a rush from work, in drizzling rain with the GPS swinging widely about, and quickly abandoned serious searching.
Today with clear skies the GPS was spot on and I was able to uncover the sneaky little hide.
An interesting spot I wouldn't have known about without the cache, despite having had a few dinners with friends at the nearby bowls club. Thanks and cheers!

Hah! I managed to fluke another one of your caches, Thank you for the cache Kel279.
On the way to Orienteering after work and picking up a few caches on the way, what better to occupy the afternoon.
Quick find on a quite afternoon.

As far as micros go, I'm a big fan of the Eppi tubes. They're robust and v versatile. Muggle free park on this sunny Sunday, strange huh!
This was my first find while on the way down to Geelong for my Round the Bay in (2) Days . With no-one around, the excellent co-ordinates quickly had me with the cleverly hidden stash in hand at 09:45, the log signed and back on my way again.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Kel279.

No. 2 found on my training ride to Geelong today. It took me a few minutes of careful searching but I got there in the end. I was just signing the log when a car pulled up right outside the gate and the 2 large occupants proceeded to unload 2 small dogs for their doggy exercise session. The cache replacement was swiftly accomplished and I left them to their mission, overhearing "Oh no, no poo bags" as I cycled off.
Thanks Kel279 - I must bring our doggy here one day.

Continuing my GeoCalendar goal warranted a find today to fill in another blank so I repeated my trip over the Westgate from Tuesday, this time avoiding Kingsway (not sure that I improved the travel time) and arrived near this cache thankful that the general area was nice and quiet. Made the significant mistake of trying to shortcut the walk from the car park to the cache site and ended up tip-toeing through some recent earth works, looked like caterpillar tracks across the grass. Note to self.... When in suit bring alternate footwear, or shoe cleaning kit or just don't be stupid and stick to the path! Arrived an GZ and immediately thought, there can't be too many options here! A minute of so later and the cache was in hand. Memories of one of my very early finds, similar hide with a similar theme.
Thanks Kel279, an enjoyable find.

After a dnf down by the river, I stopped in for a look at this on my way back to work. At least the rain kept the doggles away, if not the fishermen.
Found pretty quickly once I examined all the objects within a couple of meters of where the GPS was pointing.
Thanks Kel279 for showing me another nice little park on this side of the bridge.

Happily the phone had stopped its wobble, and took me to gz. A quick search and there it was. Nice camo.

Nearly gave up then our 7 year old's eye for detail found it. Another beauty. it was very clever

I was working my way through a few Kel279 caches today and this was another good one. Drove up to as close to GZ as I could then wandered in. No muggles or their pups around today and it was nice and quiet.
Well done on this one I just love this game getting better every day I'm out looking

The dog park was not being used when I arrived, so I was pleased to have the area to myself. After a little searching I spied something that looked interesting and there it was! Thanks Kel279 for the tricky hide.
Found with nirgalagrin... now I have my own account.

No four legged friends were here this afternoon, just a five-year-old pretending to be one while I made a quick search, discovering that I'd been on the right track during my visit in the dark.
Thanks from me, and 'Woof' from my daughter.

On the way back from staying overnight at my sister place at Point Cook I checked this one on the way. Being it cold, miserable I was lucky that there was only one muggle family about but the little one took a fancy to me and followed me everywhere so I had to abanded the search and return after they left.
Excellent hide here and cache in excellent condition
Thanks for the cache Kel279

Found this one a few weeks ago. Too cold for any sensible four-legged friends to be out, so we had the park to ourselves.
Too late in the day to look for too long, so I'll have to leave this one for another day.
Found at 17.10 on an afternoon caching run through Yarraville picking up all the caches since my last visit. Another clever hide for this one but it was once again easily located upon arrival at GZ. I quickly signed the log and moved on to the next cache.
Out'n'about with covert
A very very nice hide one could easily miss it.... if not paying full attention to their surrounds. The hide revealed itself after a moment of logical thinking.
Thx for the hide Kel

Took a day out with Kellyhuants to go a grab a few caches. This area seems to be an area we have both not cached in. Took a little time to locate this one but Kellyhuants soon made the find.
An easy find with only one doggie and owner about. I'm a but concerned that the cache placement leaves it potentially 'marked' (as in scent) by four legged visitors with non-opposing thumbs who can't otherwise sign the log in a conventional manner.
A lovely spot here and I am sure the 4 legged animals love it too. This took a little longer than it should have and I was greatful for the advice on the extraction tool.

Headed out on an afternoon cache walk in West Footscray and Seddon, where I lived for over a decade. Still looking sweet. We meet again Kel, on my 10th for the day. All good.

We arrived at GZ thinking Sunday afternoon it would be full of four legged geopuppies and muggles but there was not a soul in sight. Cache was found quickly. TFTC
Last of 33 finds today in a day that has taken us to the eastern suburbs and back again to the West. Another nice hide in a deserted park

Suscoe was on a Melbourne trip with Bushfire today.
This cache was located at 11:20 am. after a short seqarch.
A lovely sunny morning, and the locals were trading grapes for Wine making across the raod.
Thanks to Kel279 for another interesting look at these parklands.

The ageing Bushfire and the suscoe team decided to add a few smilies to their tallies today. The aim was to find any caches that we had not found and knock off a few mysteries that had been worked out over a long period of time but had not been near enough to grab.
This was the 8th cache found today and we are well on our way to have a smiley on all mysteries between Geelong and the West Gate Bridge.
No mystery's here as the cache was soon in hand while keeping an eye on the workers next door.
Thanks Kel279 for another cache and showing us some more areas of this part of Melbourne.

Spotted it pretty quickly but had to wait for the muggles to leave. They took a long time. Thankfully the grape swapping next door kept me occupied. TFTC
Found this cache after getting the wrong idea at the bench. I saw quite a few of these containers today, I've used them at work to centrifuge food extracts, so the solids settle out and you can use the liquid for gluten, milk, egg, peanut, shellfish etc. allergen tests.
I was out this afternoon with Biggles Bear caching out west and this was the second that we attempted. We initially missed it, but found it after a couple more minutes.
My thanks to Kel279 for the cache.

Great hide! Came at night no one around, all five of us were looking for cache but finding spiders instead. Eventually cache was found with a lot of compliments for a clever cache. Thanks for the cool cache Kel279!
Found by Mary & David at 0915. Felt a bit exposed without a 4-legged friend along, but we had the park to ourselves. A great place to bring a dog to play. Our thanks to Kel279.
Great little cache, found at night when nice and quiet, well camouflaged and an easy find if you know what you are looking for. Signed log, everything in order here, replaced as found, thanks to Kel279 for another little victory for our team.
Great cache clever hide. A muggle came up to me as he knew where it was he'd seen a find. He really wanted to tell me where it was. But i found it eventually. I gave him geocaching 101. He was interested but just perfers to walk his dog. Thanks. My first micro.
I found this one on the way home from work after looking in a few likely spots. A couple of people were out and about, but not near enough to disturb me. Nice one, thanks Kel.

Love a clever little hide, although sprung by a muggle "What are you doing? I saw you in the other park, and I thought you had lost something, but I just saw you then put something..." Aha a spying dog walker!! So out came the Geocahing explanation, and he was most interested, and took notes as I told him of the website!
Got to GZ and like pretty much all cachers I am sure I made an assumption about the hide. The first pass yielded nothing and I started to doubt myself (yet again) until a second pass from a different angle made all the difference.
On my way to replace the cache X, I dropped in on this one and logged it. thanks.
11/01/12 3:47 PM Find #737 Well hidden! It was just me, the howling wind and a few spats of rain here today. Another nice park and a cache
Cache in hand quickly after a short walk from home. A few more to go once the muggles clear. Tftc sl
I headed out tonight to meet up with my best mate Marshy (Blacklegend) for one of our huge caching night runs. We had no major plans for the night as we usually do as there had been so many new caches published since we last met up, so we just winged it for the night.
We parked on the car and headed over to GZ. No exercising muggles at this time of night, just us out caching and clocking up some kms on the pedometer (if we had one) so we could search for the cache without worrying about them. Once at GZ we had a good idea what to look for and it wasn't long before I found the cache.
Thanks for the hide.

One of 26 on another legendary night caching run with my best mate and caching buddy Marty aka Quasar3671. Another sneaky hide, but tracked down pretty quickly. TFTC.
After reading intently a few logs and the cache description I knew what to expect.
My first sweep turned up nothing. mmmmm
But I had just over looked the clever hide and noticed it on return.
Thanks for bringing me here.
It's been a few years since I played cricket close by and hung out at the bowls club with my grand parents.

Another good use of the surrounding apparatus to hide this little bugger.
Thanks for bringing me here as well Kel279.
No dogs today in the drizzle

This one took me a lot longer than it should have. The place was deserted, but it still took around 15 minutes to track down the sneaky little bugger. Cheers!
Don't remind me! I miss our little dog. Anyway needless to say we didn't and don't have one but do and did find the cache. Hopefully all that makes at least a little sense.
Thanks indeed.
Thanks indeed.
Must be too much of an obstacle course for our four legged friends as there were none there today. Nor a muggle to be seen anywhere.
Took a bit longer removing the log than it did to find the cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

I was slowly getting ready to pick up an item I purchased off gumtree, when I checked my phone and noticed several new publications close to home. I quickened my pace and I was soon out the door.

Well done The Empire on the FTF.. Thanks Kel279 for the cache, Quick find.. find #1962
Second of the new caches attempted this morning - and I think I was third again. I was blind on my first search, second time around the hide was spotted and log made. TFTC
I just happened to pull up to check some paperwork and though I would also just check the phone.......ok, ok, the GPS for caches then, there, I confess. And was sorta surprised at one not 20 meters from me. Whoever out this one there....well done, it was the hint that helped me in the end, I had a mile to make and was not able to get to the other one, so I left it there for a quick fix down the track....I hope.
Headed straight for this one with my iPhone telling me there weren't any logs - foiled again! Congrats The Empire for the FTF. TFTC!
