Plan for the summer. Hike, 4wd and Geocache around Tasmania. It will be a great adventure.

Argh i had saved my pocket queries for the whole trip the day before this cache was archived.

It looks like this one is finally gone!
Thanks for all the finders.

The coordinates coincided nicely with the hint ... but we searched in vain for the cache. We won't claim to have searched extensively but certainly in the vicinity of GZ and in the place suggested by the hint, and we couldn't find it. Sorry to say that it appears to be gone. Thanks for being considerate with the hide intentions, though.

unfortunately i wasn't able to find the cache despite visiting twice checking the details and hint in between. i think it is likely the cache has been lost but happy for someone to prove otherwise.

Together with Silli1310, ElMapa and kapi84 we went to Tasmania today for a good 3 weeks within our one year world trip. On Tasmania, we had rented a car and headed for the corners that were interesting for us. Today, a great and lonely hike to the Walls of Jerusalem was on the agenda. We stayed overnight close by so that we could leave early in the morning and had the whole day free. As this was the only cache on the whole route, we were happy to have found it. Thanks for the cache and sorry for the late posting.

On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to Australia as well. We started in Tasmania, rented a campervan in Melbourne and went up the Eastcoast to Cairns. Then we drove all the way to the Red Centre. We finished in Darwin. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for Wink. Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.

Our original plan was to come to Tassie to do a hike to Blue peak to find an unfound cache and perhaps spread some love to a few unloved caches in the area. But as the date approached it was decided not to try for "Blue peak dreaming" cache as it was a bit of an unknown walk and might be a bit to much for the younger members in our group. So instead we decided on Wall of Jerusalem as an over night hike destination and after spending way to much time on a nearby (as the crow fly's) unloved cache we eventually set off later than planed on the up hill climb towards Wild dog creek camp site. Just managed to get our tents set up and dinner cooked before the weather turned for the worse

We awoke the next day to the occasional sleety shower but managed to get some breakfast cooked between showers. Around 9ish the weather looked to be improving so packed our lunch for a walk to Dixon's kingdom, as it turned out the sky’s turned blue although still very cold we had an amazing walk, finding this cache along the way was a bonus. What an absolute pearler of a spot, truly breath taking. Cache was found in excellent condition, but had me wondering why on earth their wasn’t anymore caches in this area. I guess you really don’t need any more reward for coming here.

(On a side note I did carry a ammo can up here so stay tuned for more on that if I can get it published)

Not long after arriving at Dixons Kingdom hut it started snowing and continued through out the night. We certainly got the full Tassie experience on this trip, an adventure that won’t be forgotten in a hurry

Thx
Spreyton22 for placing this cache, we are forever indebted for showing us this paradise

Found with Bedmaker.
We set out this morning from the car park to the Walls and the cache. After climbing King Solomon's Throne we continued along the boardwalk to the Pencil Pine Forest. The cache was find quickly and were happy to find it in good condition.
This walk would have to be one of my all time favourites. There is so much uniqueness here! We marvelled at the beautiful old Pencil Pine trees, the unique cushion plants and skinks we encountered along the way and the natural springs flowing all over the landscape. This walk was absolutely worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Thank you so much for bringing us to such an amazing place. This one gets a favourite point from me.

Found while visiting down here from Queensland on holidays.
The walk into here was planned as part of our trip down to Tasmania.
When I did my research I discovered a cache which was a bonus.
We'd camped in the car park the night before so we could get a nice early start as we planned on making this a day walk only.
The scenery along the way was just absolutely spectacular and beautiful.
We loved the area around GZ and marvelled at how old some of the trees are.
The cache was found without any drama and we were pleased to be able to add our names to the log.
We would definitely like to come back here again, maybe next time for a couple of days.
I'm giving this a favorite point as it is a wonderful spot to visit and I hope it encourages others to come along.

TFTC. TNLN.
Beautiful area.
Did this cache after walking into the Walls from Lake Ada.
Spent 8 days in the area, including Lake Meston.

My son Jeremy hasn't seen snow previously, so we figured a bushwalk in this location, with a poor weather forecast brewing might just allow him to cross this off his list of things to see. Our walk in wasn't the most pleasant, very cold, quite windy, and snow showers (so technically goal acheived). I'd used the clue for the cache and it was spot in, thankfully as I wasn't keen on a long search given the conditions. The hardest part was getting my numb hands to write in the log.

We ended up going through to Balls Lake Hut that night, and it snowed properly for Jeremy on the way there. We woke up to 30cm snow outside the hut the next day. It also cleared up enough to see the surrounding topography - nice!

TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Spreyton22.
best wishes,
Wal & Jeremy

What a breath taking place Big Grin
Great coords and a perfect hint are appreciated in such a sensitive area. Well done Spreyton22
This was such an easy pick up and after a long hot day of walking it was great to be logging another cache on this two day trip to the Walls.
Its been such a great trek with a few side trips to The Temple, The Pool of Bethesda, and Solomons Throne (which Im still kicking myself I didnt have a cache to leave up there). spotted one Tiger snake but off the track and two whip snakes today and an echidna along the way.
Met some lovely people and saw the most amazing scenery imaginable.
Two wallabies were not far from this cache and the body was starting to feel a little tired so moved on fairly quickly.
Thanks a million Spreyton22 Loved this one Big Grin

I surprised there are so few caches in the area as it is very popular, to many people at wild dog creek for me. The cache is an easy find, thanks to all concerned.

We have replaced this cache during our christmas trip to the Walls. Great weather & a great trip.
The co ordinates & clue are unchanged. Hopefully it will stay put this time!
Thanks for placing the cache originally Spreyton 22. The area is well worth a visit. Smile

I've just noted the log from parallel sticks and I would suggest anyone looking for this cache might be disappointed ... anyone planning a trip in is welcome to contact me first and I could arrange a replacement cache container.

Thanks!

If its "not found" again, we'll disable / archive the cache.

After camping at the Dog Creek camping platforms we woke up to a light dusting of snow. Very pretty but it explained the cold night! As a result we decided to do a day walk to this cache and then onto Dixon Kingdoms Hut and continue to hike up Mount Jerusalem if the weather improved. Unfortunately the cache has gone as we used the precise hint but the weather did improve so we could go up Mount Jerusalem, Solomon's Throne and see the Pools of Bethesda, before returning to the tent. A great day, but shame about the cache.

Well what a saga! We set off for a nice day's walk from Wild Dog and encountered thigh deep snow while visiting the Pool of Bethesda. Then over the saddle to "get out of the wind" and found the board walk and track obscured by snow varyiing in depth from knee to thigh high for most of the way down to Dixons Kingdom hut. Was beginning to despair of finding the cache when the GPSr obligingly beeped and we happened to be in a clear area. TFTC and a most challenging walk.

Hint spot on and easily logged on the way down to Dixons before it got too dark. Pretty easy walking on the way back to Wild Dog anyway with the headlamp on the board walk super highway!

My wife and I took four days to walk from Lake Ada to Long Tarns, climb Turrana Bluff then walk across to The Walls. The whole area is, indeed, a pencil pine paradise.
We walked up to The temple, collecting the cache on the way, then continued on and back to our car via the lakes of the Pine River Valley. Unfortunately we didn't have time to collect Another Brick in the Walls. Another time.
Thanks for the cache.
