After we did the earthcache we wandered a bit further to look at some more rocks and take some photos. I spied a cachy looking spot checked the app and saw it was 5m away and it was exactly where I would have hidden it. Nice quick find then . TFTC
Been to Tassie plenty of times in the past, and now find myself retired and able to return. Really love this area in the north east, and places like this make it so much more wonderful!Taking full advantage of there being two caches in the one location, I drove here from our lovely Airbnb just up the road early in the morning before the muggles even woke up! Had to circle a few time before the obvious was spotted! Performed duties and replaced as found.
Two caches for one stop is always a pleasant bonus. After grabbing the required information for the earthcache we looked for this physical cache. It wasn't in the obvious spot so a way was found to get closer to the coordinates. A very difficult way it was too. Found a much easier way back though.Thanks.
Queenslanders heading up the east coast after completing the 3 Capes Walk.Spending 2 nights in St Helens to see the Bay of Fires and cache. Easy find in good condition. Thanks robtas for the cache and bringing us here.
Found with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area. Took a bit of searching b4 we realised we needed to approach it from a different angle, then it was a very quick find.Great views, thanks for putting a cache here.
Another spot that we probably would not have visited if it were not for geocaching. Amazing views! frmen1 and I scuttled around looking, looking, looking. A different angle certainly helped and resulted in a quick find. Contents in good condition. TFTC and the small walk.
[9050] Holidays on Tasmania, day 13. Today we had enough time to explore the magnificent bay of fire. We started with a walk from Binalong Bay to the Balancing Boulder and headed after lunch up to The Gardens. On the way back we stopped for more scenic geocaches, the last geocaching visit for today became the grandfather virtual. Finally, we spent some time at the beach before we returned to our cabin at Pelican Point. This geocache belonged to our finds today. After adjusting the level of height it was easily detected. TFTC!
Looked everywhere. Cant find it. Just started geocaching so need more practice.
Cruising around so early in the morning has its advantages. Not only do you get to see a bit of wildlife, but there isnt too much traffic around making parking a breeze.I sat here for a bit watching the fishermen retrieve their craypots. I didnt have my binoculars with me to see if they were having any luck but Im sure they picked up a feed.TFTC robtasKeep smiling
21268During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji. Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.
Really pretty place! Some climbing involved but nothing hard. Path down for awesome views is behind the balancing rock. Tftc
An easy find after we spent a long time watching some humpback whales making their way south for the summer. They went between the mainland rock and the nearby island. You can't get it better than that can you! Thanks for bringing us here at this time Robtas.
Staying in St Helens we headed out to locate caches nearby and as far afield as Derby and this was one we found. It was a lovely day to be out caching. Once on the right level the cache was a quick find. TFTC
Jetstar was having a sale…. in the middle of winter, for a destination further south than I already live. That sounds like a great idea!
So a plan for a 4 night whirlwind tour of the northern part of the state was hatched. I’ve seen lots of this beautiful state, but haven’t found a single cache. With plenty of challenges to tick off, and a long list of targeted caches, this week is the time to turn that around.
It’s the final day for this trip, leaving St Helens for Launceston via more of the coast and then inland through Campbell Town and Ross.
I think I accessed this from the wrong side initially but got there in the end.
Thanks robtas for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

After a little bit of climbing found it, and a new sheet of paper is now in. Amazing views, TFTC & Greetings from
Note to future finders: PLEASE BRING SOME PAPER TO SERVE AS AN AUXILIARY LOG. That said, I am as bad as the others as I had not a whit of paper with me. I did manage to find a spot to sign in, and the advisement above is more an admonishment of myself for not coming prepared to offer some needed maintenance to this cache. So, politely, please bring something for future finders to sign as it appears the CO has gone silent.
Looked on the wrong side to begin with, then once on the right side it was right there, TFTC

After dropping off my son and hubby to St Helens MTB, I took my father and daughter around the area. Were are holidaying from Victoria. We had to approach this one from a different direction. My dad called the usual "Found it" and we quickly signed it. My daughter then had a small fall but she recovered enough to walk back to the car and also working on the nearby Earth Cache. Thanks for the cache.
The geocaching at grants point was fabulous. Lovely red rocks to see. An easy find.Thank you for the cache from GeoMaggie and her sidekick Bonnie.
Tasman Trip
GrimRaider and are exploring Tasmania for a couple of days. We headed out to the east coast to check out St Helens where G visited as a kid. This cache had me clambering all over rocks until I wised up. Lovely spot and cheeky hide. Thanks for the hide robtas

Great hiding spot. Was in the right place but not quite to start with was very confused but found it in the end very good hiding.
On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.
Today its Bicheno to St Helens and we visited a number of places along the way, including a little detour via St Marys. Started off at the Bicheno Blowhole which was in full action this morning. Picked this one up whilst in the area. Was at the wrong elevation to begin with but once I changed that, I soon had cache in hand.
Thanks for placing and mainting this EaGeocache robtas

After a little but of searching and rock hopping the cache was soon in hand. Didn't take any TBs as I already have a couple in possession. All was good at the cache.
On holidays from Sydney and GZed and I made a quick find here after completing the earthcache. The view is spectacular! TFTC!
Exploring St. Helens for a short getaway courtesy of my muggle colleague. She jumped in the car with me and put up with my geocaching for the day. Think she learnt w lot and was impressed by the places we saw. She even got an eye for spotting caches by the end of the day!
Visiting from Townsville and continuing our anti-clockwise loop after a couple of days in Hobart.
Bicheno, the Bay of Fires and St Helens today. One we were on the correct level/side it was an easy find. Nice spot.
Thanks robtas for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

This is our second day in the St Helens area. The weather is a little overcast and cool to start with and the ground is still very wet from all the recent rains. Our aim today is to explore the area as much as possible this being our first visit here and also to collect as many geocaches along the way as practical.
This is our 11 th cache of the day. We. located it after obtaining the answers for the nearby earth cache. It really is a fantastic area and a great spot for a cache. We’re fortunate to have the spot to ourselves because when we got back to the car park several cars all parked up at once . TFTC

Almost stepped off a very big rock finding this one! Hold on to small children.
Great hide! Watched the sunset and birds after finding it.

Lots of very big rocks but we eventually found the right one. Thanks for bringing us to this area.
After the frustration of a DNF (strongly suspect muggled) then coming under prepared for the nearby Earth Cache (cache details not downloaded and no signal at GZ) that was a satisfying find! With the GPSr bouncing around all over the place and a plethora of hiding spots, my (finely calibrated ?) caching eye kicked in and "I wonder?" --- CIH!! TNLNSL and TFTC. I do like it when I can make the find without accessing the hint. Then, wonder of wonders, I established enough coverage to obtain the required info for the Earth Cache! I love it when a plan comes together!
