Caching in the Lower Bluies with Its_Dozzie this morning. I was expecting something different until I looked up and over to a CAW CAW object. Nice work. TFTC
#14820 10:05With Gavino4's event in Glenbrook this morning, Brewmaker and I set out for an early start. After coffee we headed off to find a number of caches from the Glenbrook Ramble series.TFTC whitemushroom
Ive been staying nearby in Glenbrook; there was a conference last week and therell be a conference next week and five of us women are staying here for the weekend. This morning we got up to find glorious sunshine to accompany our plans for a bush walk. This was the fourth of six geocaches in our two-hour walk. We also saw beautiful landscapes and wonderful views. It was lovely to hear the wind song and bird song. Now that weve got our steps up for the day we can go off to high tea in KatoombaThanks for the cache, whitemushroom, wackydo and eaviate
We plan on doing maintenance on this cache in the next few days, weather permitting.
Easy find but cache needs maintenace. Log falling apart and bottom micro missing.tftc
Something easy today after work and Blackie took me a while to locate. Ah, paper log mottled so I used a squeezable TOTT to extract it out. Signed log, photo taken for CO whitemushroom with thanks. With TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck, Pittiplatsc, Corona Express Cruise Ship and Bierkrug in tow.
Pulled over into the school set down/pick up area, all good as it’s a Saturday afternoon but geo muggles in the car waited for me, thus ran around down the trails and soon had CIH. Just noticed it’s been a while between finds here too. Initialed MC on the moist paper, and returned
Nice little walk during a break in netball semi finals. And a special geocaching world record attempt!! Great co-ordinates , easy find. However the log is wet and rather difficult to extract. Photo for proof as too wet to write on. Suggest maintenance. TFTC!!
As mentioned in other logs, the log is full. Tftc the bird noises at GZ are great!
Found on a lovely sunny day cache trip before a picnic. Easy find - flat track, interesting history, and the cache was quickly in hand once at GZ. Cute container. Needs a new log. TFTC.
Great easy find and clever cache. Log is full and almost impossible to get out of cache.
After the community event is was time to grab a few more caches in the area so headed over. A nice walk along the old tram line and cuttings. We picked up a number along here with nice views just near the old winding house station. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Quick find with Deep_99 to keep the streak going. SL #4754 on streak day #3086 TFTC

Out for cache run around Penrith with a view to find some multi-caches that we need for a challenge cache. On our way to the next multi, we stopped off to grab this cache. Very quick find at GZ as we spotted it on approach. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing it as found. Both the log and cache container are in good condition. Thanks for cache whitemushroom.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, Daltus-Dachzeltbus39, SirJ-Oz's Purple Bear

Great day for a mountain walk. Blackie was ‘sleeping’ when we got to GZ. Not what you’d expect for a creature of his type. He also seems to have lost his innards sporting only the log and the lid. Not to worry we relocated him in a position where he can look around him and make as much irritating noise as he likes. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Quick find and luckily we had tott otherwise we wouldn't have retrieved the log. The bison tube is missing although the cap remains. Log signed, tftc

Geowife dropped me off at the end of Emu Road and I worked through a few Tramway Route caches while she got some retail therapy at Penrith Plaza. Looks like "Blackie" has been a bit singed by fire!!!
### Welcome to Blue Mountains ###
——
We took a day trip to Penrith, Lapstone and Glenbrook today.
We walked along the tram way and the zig zag way and have enjoyed many other nice beautiful spots
Nice landscape to explore.
We’ve also stopped multiple times along the way and solved some multi caches.
We’ve also found a virtual cache in Glenbrook Park.
Thank you all the owners for the nice caches

Accurate coordinates and old photos helped me track this one down quickly. The paper is waterproof, but still difficult to write on as it's soaked. TFTC.

As was said by Raby Roamers. Blackie has seen better days! Would not of found it without the help of someone posting the photo.

Out for a few caches which we missed last time or have gone down since we were here last. Took nothing left nothing, Cache all good, good coordinates. 17th for the day. TFTC
A rare weekend opened up in between elections so we took the opportunity to take a walk through Glenbrook. Great weather and an enjoyable caching day all round. Having a very pleasant walk in this area. Thanks for brining us here.
Found with Team MADZ. Thanks for placing the cache whitemushroom (adopted from wackydo and eaviate).
Out caching with ziggiau, MrSmash and dingoman007 today and found many fun caches in the area. Thanks to the COs for placing them.
As the previous finder mentioned - blackie has seen better days lol. We replaced the log as found - which surprisingly was dry despite its exposure to the elements! TFTC
As SSSonya said, did the best we could to help Blackie "keep it together", now "crowned" with a metallic green cap off the missing bison tube. Good planning to use an "all weather" log. TFTC
Sadly blackie has seen better days and is in need of some TLC. It is missing a few appendages and it appears as if someone has lost the bottom of the log container and rather than searching for it, has just shoved the log in another hole in the cache. Still a great concept though and I'm sure would have looked even better in its youth. TFTC.
Caching with oldmorty on our way to Blackheath. Trouble honing in on GZ. Must admit to looking at photos. Great hint. TFTC whitemushroom
OCW frazeydaze around Glenbrook. We rambled through the bush, walked along the Construction Tramway and through Dark's Common and finished up at a cache for shorties. All caches were in excellent condition and found in reasonably quick time. TFTC
Quick stop on way home to keep streak alive. As mentioned in previous logs part of container is missing and log is exposed but not wet as if doesn’t rain anymore... Cache guardian in good health. TFTC

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Penrith for a short three day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Gateway Lifestyle Nepean Shores Holiday Park, and planning on exploring the areas around Penrith, Regentville, Jamisontown, Emu Plains, Lapstone, and Glenbrook. Will also be keeping an eye out for our final Hidden Creature, the World Turtle, whilst out on the caching trail. This was our 4th find of the day, and 24th find of the holiday.
After a few “park & grab” finds, on our way up from Jamisontown, we had now arrived at the old tramway walking track at Lapstone. Parked the geomobile in the parking area at the tennis courts, on Explorers Road, then headed off down the track.
This was the first one we came to, quickly spotting the cute little fella at GZ. Signed the log and then replaced as found. Bottom part of the bison tube is missing (just the log sheet poked into the cap) but otherwise all OK. TFTC whitemushroom & wackydo and eaviate.

Tftc - this cache will be gone soon, bottom of the cache is missing exposing the log to weather. Camo is damaged and need a vet
Found it! Didn’t have a pen to sin sadly. Cache container half gone. Good spot though! Very cool!
Cooler today and so much better for geocaching and doing some wallking. This was one we targetted and were able to find. Thanks to whitemushroom for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Have looked here previously but the cache had been muggled. Blackie was lying onthe floor, a bit worse for where, so popped her up a bit higher, hopefully in the right spot. TFTC !
A stoll around abit looking here and there before I found the well camoed liitle cache.

This took about 20 minutes to find. Our GPS unit took us all over the place. The hint was understood by Sue, but Dan had an entirely different idea. Despite 34 years of marriage, communication was lacking. Sue kept perservering and finally found the well hidden cache. Surprised that the finds to DNFs is 208:1. TFTC
29/6/17. 12:26 PM. Cache #5158.
1st of 7 finds (& 1 DNF) today - went a'rambling in Lapstone & Glenbrook again, taking on the eastern leg of the trail this time...
First things first, I diverted to the posted co-ords for #16 The Plane Crash to get the details from the plaque and work out where its final GZ was. Last time I did this series (19/6), I drove around half the waypoints and walked the rest, getting #1A to #10 mostly in order. Today's leg picked up where I had left off but was all walking, once I had parked near Lapstone Public on Explorers Rd and walked down the trail to this one.
It was just a short diversion from the trail and then a couple of minutes to find it. The hint only makes sense after you've already found the cache, so isn't much help. I went back to Explorers Rd and the trail continued across the other side towards #12 The Hollow. TFTC.
