My wife is sleeping in this morning so I'm trying to complete as much of this pathway series as possible on our weekend away. I am being lazy and driving between caches because I don't have a bike and I don't have enough time to walk it! Thoroughly enjoyed the series, Thankyou so much for all the well maintained and creative caches. Had a quick look here but the previous dnfs scared me off
Today was time to get out the geocycle and travel along one of the many routes in the area so today we found 23 traditionals with 8 DNFs it was not a great day but it was a good day for a ride but those DNFs bring the day as a whole down but thats caching (Cache Blindness) or they just werent there only the cache owner knows which is the case. The other option is the lack of GPS accuracy using Iphone as GPS wasn't preloaded before going for the ride.
Thanks The Three Geo Amigos for placing this cache however it was not forthcomming for us today. Another of our frownies for the day this was two in a row and im begining to wonder if I should be caching.
Grand Cache count = 843 total consisting of 758 Traditionals, 24 Multi, 14 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual, 6 Event, 2 Werigo and 2 Letterbox.

Had a 500m scooter to this one. Haha then we read the log regarding the cache location being replaced. We can see the new item. Probably should have read the logs first, especially since now its starting to rain
Advised by person who lives at cache site that the cache hiding spot was replaced a couple of weeks ago. Have advised owner.
Day two of our caching adventure from Qld saw angloj and I heading to Phillip Island for the day. Quick find. TFTC The Three Geo Amigos
Looking around when we heard a shout from a kind neighbour up on their deck. They pointed us in the right direction, we found the cache and left them to enjoy the sunshine! TFTC
Day out caching to Phillip Island with friends. Awesome day. Great cache, fun series. TFTC
Here again Mark&Kelly's amazing stash of geo-extraction tools came in very handy. Yes, we did look dodgy. Yes, we do always hang around places like this. And yes, we are looking for something. Got you, geocache. We put it back not as far in as we found it.
Found it! This one proved to be a bit problematic, firstly because it was very hard for 3 adults not to look like we were casing the joint and secondly because the cache had retreated to a point that required some of the Macgiver tools to retrieve. All of this work of course made more difficult by the endless stream of muggles walking or riding past, but wr got it in the end...TFTC...
Befor we go home, we must do this caches. We found all cache very well. Thank you for this cache.

We had this on our site and completed the series this morning and some extra once along the way, there were some clever , some tricky hides. The weather was good to us and got all done incident free. Most enjoyable day. TFTC
Over for the Melbourne Mega and collecting a few caches while in the area.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

Decide to stay in Melbourne instead of returning for the weekend to NZ to be able to attend the Mega Melbourne event. Yorkshirekiwi83 and I teamed up again to enjoy our Sunday on Phillip Island's. We spend the morning collecting some earthcaches and the afternoon biking. The evening I decided to stay longer to experience the cute penguins parade and their young. In all it was a stunning day with perfect company, sunny weather, well done geocaches, good exercise and an awesome scenery. TFTC
Was at the Melbourne event and teamed up with fellow NZer Alpenmilch80 for the weekend, gathering some of the caches on Philip Island, had a limited time as I was flying out later that evening, but had a great time.
We were thinking of walkingt the trail but we saw people passing on hired bikes, OK that was a much better option, google showed onee option in Cowes e-bikes, awesome. This really helped us with the speed in between the caches and meant we got the ones we wanted to and returned the bikes within 4 hours. Most were quick easy finds, but there were a couple of tricky ones in the mix, had a fab time.

While staying in Frankston (waiting for the Melb Mega) we drove to join our geodaughter on the island for lunch and and caching in the afternoon. We left early to grab a few caches which she had already found and started on this nice trail.
We only ended up doing 15 before lunch time arrived but were delighted in the variety of the hides. We made a record of the enclosed clues in the hope we get to finish the series at some later stage
Plenty of 'long weekend' traffic around.
We apologise for the generic log but comments have been added on some hides where necessary.
Many, many thanks The Three Geo Amigos for a very enjoyable series.[^][^][^]

Ten numbers in 80 minutes, including two changes of log books. Not bad going at night-time. Enjoying this series.

We had to return to GZ in the dead of night to pick up this cache. An adjacent block resembled an ant-heap during the day with builders and other tradies swarming around. Tftc.
Late night find with puncatus, done in the dark as there are builders on site during the day.
While we have nothing to do y not head to Philip Island and find some caches. Out with geobrother on this hunt. Tftc
The Bears are out n about to finds some caches Little Bear will be in charge of the compass tftc 1:51 pm
Back today to do more of this Pathway series. Doing it in reverse. Nice quick one. Took geoboy again. TFTC. 7.2km walked today.
Down this neck of the woods for the weekend from Geelong. We thought we would grab some caches on the way into Cowes. There were some very tricky hides in this series. It wasn't until we were over half way through, that we realised we hadn't been collecting the clues... Oh well, I'm not turning back now !! Thanks for a very entertaining morning, a lot of variety in the hides. TFTC The Three Geo Amigos.
After a weekend on Phillip Island I decided to leave the island by stopping by at caches on my way home. I wish I had written a note about this one and then I would have something interesting to say. I guess that is what happens when you cache with a headache! TFTC
What a fantastic cache serie. We enjoyed the pathway by cycle this morning and found the most container between #1 and #12. Thank you so much for the nicely hidden boxes. Karen and Thomas

With the great weather, we decided to drive to Phillip Island for a day of caching.
We were not disappointed as there was a good variety of cache hides and containers.
which kept us busy all day. We also had the pleasure of meeting 2 other teams on our travels.
Thanks to all the owners, for the effort that you put into the construction and the hides.
Many thanks for placing this cache, The Three Geo Amigos, for us and others to find.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, we heard about the New Year Events and decided we should be a part of the fun.
So with 'home' set up nearby we headed off to visit Phillip Island today.
We headed across in the GeoCruiser which had the Geobikes on the back.
We decided on a plan to tackle most caches by bike, parking the cruiser then working our way back before moving again.
Gee I hope this is peak season down here, there were so many muggles!! We would stop the bikes then look over our shoulders to see if any walkers or cyclists had appeared and believe me, they did very often.
It was quite treacherous on the bikes, particularly if we had to cross any roads.
Today was pretty warm too, the weatherman said 30 but the car said 36. So some sunburn has surely been picked up. [^]
As previously reported the lid was missing here, so we dropped a new log in a new 'tin' and all good now.

Nice easy find on a record day of caching around Phillip Island. TFTC
We (G&JMelb) arrived here on holidays Thursday whilst MMelb is on a School World Challenge trip and is currently in Cambodia and Laos!
We had planned to do this whole series whilst we were here and hoping Quiet1_au would be able to join us either yesterday or today but the inclement weather had other ideas!! We spent the morning at Amaze'n'things hoping the rain would stop. Finally today around lunch time it did so we headed off.
Found the cache and amazingly the log was dry as the lid is missing.

While spending a weekend on the island with xambo4u while they did some setup tasks on the latest van we decided that this series should be our challenge - but not by walking or riding - by car. Most of the caches where located quickly and the letters retrieved. Thanks 3 Amigos for placing these caches.
After this one we took a lunch break back at the X's van.

Out and about with 80 degrees while enjoying a weekend at Philip Island to test out our new caravan. Stayed at the Big 4 which was excellent. This was our challenge for the weekend. We are a team of driver and getters. Always mindful of parking safely it was the getters that was sometimes challenged. Picked up the clue; Nice easy find.
Thanks for the cache series: You Three Geo Amigos

A quick find even though gps initially had me on the other side of the path. Clue noted. TFTC
Spending a couple of days on Phillip Island with OrionJ. Left Mr LHE Duo to his own devices and I headed off with OrionJ to do this pathway series. The weather was starting to warm up and the day was perfect for a nice long walk. There seems to be something new around every corner. I had no idea how much Phillip Island had to offer visitors.
After a slight detour looking for a lost penguin we were back on the Pathway and had this one in hand. TFTC

While on a short holiday from Brisbane with LHE Duo. Myself and Mrs LHE Duo spent the best part of Sunday morning and a little of the afternoon walking the path to collect this series.
We started with the one closest to the hotel which turned out to be #30, and worked along the trail for a couple of hours. At #14 we had a pickup from Mr LHE Duo, who had the rental car, and gave us a short break with a trip to the Chocolate Factory.
After the little sidetrack we set back out on foot for #1 and finally got a pick up again at #13. All up it seems we come up with I think around 14.5km with the bits on each end, and a time of around 5 hours.
My Apologies for a cut and past log.

With a few spare days at a newly acquired holiday house belong to a generous extended family member one of the Happy Chappies and Cycling_guy made sure to bring bikes to make the most of this trail that I've seen for ages but never had the chance to get around to.
All up it was a great day. Nice weather and a nice 3 or so hours on the trail finding all but two caches as we rode back to the house via the trail.

Down at Phillip Island for a family Easter holiday, so Happy Chappie and I planned ahead and packed the bikes This power trail was first on our radar and it didn't disappoint, the caches were varied in size and types, which had us second guessing for the 13km.
Thank you for the hide

Wind and rain didn't stop robber44 and myself from attempting the Pathway Where Every Letter Counts. I now don't recall the individual finds but there were some clever hides and containers on this varied and interesting trail. Thanks for the effort gone into this series. Apologies for the generic log but 30 caches have blurred in my mind TFTH
Found! This was an easy find for us today.
The family spent a few days down here hoping to enjoy the local attractions but with the rain the whole time we were here, made it hard to do too much but we made the most of it as best we could. This series was great fun. A raft of different hides & ideas. We drove this series which made it a little hard for parking on some. We didn't attempt the final on this series.
Thanks for this cache & series

We had a day trip to Phillip Island, Hubby wanted to see where the V8s raced & I was more interested in the penguins. We saw some great sea views, visited the chocolate factory & of course the V8 circuit.
The caches were numerous & well placed it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Did the walk/bike trial 1st while we were still fresh & then by car to numerous others.
Thanks for placing this series The Three Amigos

A lovely trail which made the ride and cache a real pleasure. Brucie and LazzaL started early on this one and had no problems. Thanks to The Three Geo Amigos for placing the cache and this series.
Out early this morning on the bikes today to do this series. We started at the Cowes end and luckily caught a tailwind for most of way. Some very creative caches along the way, and although I don't normally like micros in the bush none of these were particularly hard finds. Had only 1 DNF in this series and we have confirmed with the CO that it is missing. Must try to pick it up later so we can do the final. Thanks to The Three Geo Amigos for hiding this cache.

We'd come to Phillip Island for my wife to comete in Tough Mudder, so as a reward I got to do come caching
I hired an electric bike in town and belted along the trail, giving myself 60 seconds to locate a cache or move on - I had limited time here!
The caches I found were diverse, and enjoyable - some really sneaky hides here!
I can't wait to come back and clear the island.
TFTC, and sorry for the CopyPasta log

Played this trail on Phillip Island with onkeldomme during our honeymoon in Australia. All caches were more or less easy to find and well hidden. For our pitty we didn't have enough time to get the bonus - maybe next time

Melbourne parties Friday noon and returned Tuesday morning in Melbourne. I came here to make different trail of caches in the area. It was intense few days with my bike but very nice! I could find caches with superb camouflage, very good ideas from the cachers. This log will be the same for all caches that I made (sorry) But I want to congratulate in particular:
Nut bear & BorisB & Natasha for "Bay Trail" and "Red Hill Express" (Beautiful cover!)
The Three Amigos Geo for "The Pathway"
Gonefishen07 for the great "Rail Trail"
As well as other geocacher who I discovered several caches during these few days.
Thank you very much

After lunch at Cowes I headed back along Phillip Island road on foot looking for the pathway caches. I walked for a couple of ours and only spotted a few others on the path. Oh for a bike!!
I collected all the letters.

Very rare for Nut bear to have a weekend off work, so couldn't resist our first ever caching trip to the Island. Another easy one to make up for the last DNF. We seem to be forming a bit of a pattern here. At least it gives us another excuse to come back again.
Thanks The Three Geo Amigos for the cache.

With an unexpected weekend off from work it was decided to head to Phillip Island with BorisB&Natasha. Amazing to think i live so close and haven't been here since I was about six.
We knew where to look but a couple of muggles up the road made for an interesting retrieve/replace.
Natasha pointed to the new houses which gave me the cover I needed.
Thanks The Three Geo Amigos for this great series.
