Logs
Cache broken into two pieces, on ground and without log book. It seems this one has been having problems since about August last year and could do with some TLC!
Quick find as cache container was in two pieces on the ground at GZ. Parked a little distance from GZ and got caught in a heavy shower before making it back to the car! No log in cache so we put a new log in and Mr nzk taped up the container - it should hinge open from one side if you undo the middle piece of black tape. We put the cache back where we thought it belonged but didn't expect it to stay there long! Looks like this one has needed maintenance for some time! TFTC
A nice quick find on our way through. No logbook in cache but i have a photo should you wish to confirm my attendance, TFTC!
GC found on ground on blustery day. Log also wet. Dried it out sufficiently and replaced. Tftc.
I was in the general area for work and once that was done with I went to find a few caches. This one is in need of some TLC. Spotted half the cache where it was supposed to be and found the other half on the ground. Took and signed a page out of my notebook to log my visit and replaced the cache in a horizontal position so hopefully the two halves will stay together. TFTC, Biggles.
Good location and easy to find. Can be spotted from the road but only of you know what you are looking at. Cache was disappointingly empty though so this was another one I couldn't record that I had been there.
Nice quick grab, on the way home to Tauranga, There is no log, found it on the ground in peaces. We put it back together best we could. It will need some attention. TFTC

Found this cache on the way through to Rotorua but was open on the ground with no logbook to be seen. Needs Maintenance. We gathered up the bits and put it back where we think it was placed.
The log seems to have gone missing, so I put in a tiny slip of paper until the CO can replace it with a proper log. TFTC.
Another quick park and grab while cutting across country. It's a lovely area. TFTC
Took the detour route back to Auckland and was rewarded with a couple more caches. I found this bold cache but also no log book and I did have a search around. I have nevertheless added a temporary log. Maybe this will remain or the CO will update. TFTC
Found this one today with yodabeach. Cache was easily located. Alas, there were no contents inside. A quick search of the surrounding area turned up the logbook, but no sign of the pencil.
Slieschke and I decided to take a detour back from Hamilton to Auckland to collect some lonely geocaches. Interesting cache container and placement . TFTC
Found with alpenmilch80 on the long way back to Auckland from Hamilton to pick up some lonely caches for a license challenge. A bold and daring cache in full view! Thanks!
found as part of team stik-a-crane now logging under my own name ... I was there to help make the find but wanting a map and history of my own unique kind.
after a disappointing stop in Matamata (1 find out of a potential 5 quick searches) we couldn't complete our journey home without a couple more successes - often take this route but prior to today we were not geocachers so no need to ever stop!!- quick stop and grab this one exactly what we were aiming for - left symbol of peace and friendship
Out on a working/cache run with Gap (of Fap and Gap). I am highly unprepared for this journey so I'm reliant on Gap to point me in the right direction...
There were a few vehicles on the road... no doubt cutting through to Ohinewai. This was an interesting cache location and container. TFTC.

Today was spent, alongside our caching buddies, KiwifruitsNZ, securing the last of the requirements for our Full Geo-Licence Challenge - find 50 caches in one single day and where each cache found must be at least 1 km from any of the other caches! A daunting target and task, which resulted in a 12 hour day, but it's done! Yay!
#40 of 50. The end is near! TFTC

Another weekend, and another KiwfruitsNZ/Vamber caching adventure.
This time, it was to secure the "50 caches in a day, 1km+ apart" requirement for our Geo Challenge Licence #9. After 12 hours of caching, covering several roads between Auckland and Hamilton, surviving several downpours of rain, and the odd "interesting muggle", am pleased to say that we claimed our 50 caches (plus one more for the daily cache)!!

Tftc. The container may need replacing soon as it doesn't seem very watertight.
On my way to the Broken Hills event, managed to squeeze in this cache that I always saw on my radar but never stopped for. TFTC
Found it (after falling into the surprisingly deep drain hidden by the long grass), but unfortunately as I retrieved it I dropped it and part broke off. I've fixed it as best I can, will email a photo to owner to decide if it needs replacing. Sorry 'bout that, but great spot on a lovely evening.

Yeuk! I hate earwigs and you had a huge number in residence when I opened it. Interesting container. TFTC
Parked near the school and did the short walk to the cache, a few bugs had taken up residence in the container. Thanks [8]
Chris, we don't want others knowing this way, it's already got more traffic going through than 5 years ago.
We always come this way, as hubby's grandparents used to live at Waiti and we call in to the Urupa to say hi.
Wasn't planning on doing any caches until Rotorua but I'd had my GPSr on to take a waypoint at the urupa (as I can never find it when I come through by myself) and saw this cache.
Found the cache and then had to run back to car to get phone to capture the munzee (should have known there would be one, with this being one of your caches). TFTC

While we were filling in the log here, a red Ferrari drove past closely followed by a black Ferrari.
Have past here many times when travelling this way to Auckland, this time we had time to look for it. TFTC
A quick stop on the way to Tuakau. We had a conversation on the drive up about where and what this cache would be. Lets just say, we nailed the where but didn't get the what. Even though this is a pretty popular alternate route north for travellers, there was surprisingly few vehicles on the road to distract us from the search. Not that a protracted search is needed, as it was clearly spotted on approach to GZ. TFTC

Just shows how a clever name and interesting container can lift a cache above others. No swag, so managed to fit in a monkey and a whistle.
Looked but didn't see it, walked away whilst the traffic went passed and then as I walked back oh so obvious. TFTC
Loved using a different road to head back to the BoP - a really nice road to travel, less congested and took time off the trip. Several caches in hand = win/win!
On holidays from Australia so we must hunt down some caches while we are here, a very quick grab on our way south, SL, TNLN, TFTC
Another happy find as we weaved our way South.t4tc

First find for the day while on a caching mission over in the Waikato. Quick easy grab and go. TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Stopped in here on a very wet night, on our way back to Auckland from a weekend in Tauranga. Made a quick detour to grab this cache, a nice easy find by torch. Thanks for the cache!

Great place to hide a cache. So often it's the most obvious ones that you don't see. TFTC
A nice drive by find, took me far too long to open the cache I really must stop over thinking these things

What fun - biked to this cache but had to have a few sips of my water bottle while the roadside mower was catching me up so that I didn't give the cache away. TFTC
Luckily had seen this had been disabled so didn't stop on way home. However did drive very slowly passed while keeping eye on GPSr.
can confirm Kikiteachersnz's suppicions - nothing at GZ.

Got to GZ and the ground was bare. New sign and fence have been placed a few meters down the road. We are wondering if the cache was lost when the sign was replaced? See photos.
Picked where this cache was even without the co-ords, but there was a van parked and a worker in visi vest at GZ (although I suppose he could have been another cacher?).
Will get it on the way back to Ak.
Will get it on the way back to Ak.
Lots of muggles at the bowling club today, but no-one watching me, thankfully. Dropped off small TB, TFTC
Another cache we couldn't resist while in the area. Pulled up right next to GZ and could almost reach the cache without even getting out of the car. Now thats what I call a driveby. TFTC
Out on a mission with Z-masterNZ trying to clean up some out-of-town caches, #3 found.

Found on our way home from Auckland, very dark night, no moon and the strange noises on the roadside turned out to be very large cow, hopefully behind an electric fence. Just as well we carry a torch. Our first night cache.
3.10pm. Have used this road a few times. Saw the cache from the car as we parked.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Actually this is my normal route, only know the others cause there are caches on them.
