Not sure on the protocol with these disabled caches, but saw a couple veterans found it, so me and kcoley had a look. Easy find, can see why it's been disabled though.
Saw that a few other had found while this was disabled and was in the area with MAKESHlFT so went and had a nosey and found it on dusk, nice spot, tftc
I've been absolutely flat out recently & haven't had a chance to change the log book. It sounds like it's in a pretty sad state. So until I get a chance (hopefully not far off) I'm disabling this listing. I hope this does not cause any problems for anyone. Thanks for your patience
Last evening away from home before heading back and just enough time to collect a few last caches.

New log, cache note and a better container really needed as log getting very wet now, and the cache note is very , very, sodden.
A softball tournament was going on at the time of my visit, but with all the crowd and attention elsewhere, I was free to grope at length. Found it in the second place I looked.
The log is quite damp- these type of containers are not waterproof- but I managed to sign with my bic pen.
Thanks again bouncy79 for the cache.

Spotted by my daughter - she could not reach it, but felt chuffed she saw it first. TFTC
Tried to dry log out a little as it was quite damp, threatening to fall apart. A dark coloured 'camo' plastic bag could help keep the container dry maybe?

Cruising the roads on my way up to Palmy for my flight home.
TFTC - enjoyed the drive

Found it but struggled to write in log book as it was very wet. A new log and a more water tight container would be good

Escaped for a morning's caching. An easy find after two DNFs. As others have said log was damp, but managed to sign. TFTC.

#895. A quick find with no muggles around. The log is very damp and almost unwritable. SL, TFTC.
The 16 year old and mum of the team were heading south to Wellington from north of Auckland picking up a few caches along the way. TFTC
It took us a while to figure which side to attack from, once there is was an easy find just as it was getting dark
My nuvi took me to a place where I didn't fancy accessing the cache from. I consulted my Oregon to work out a better way and was soon enjoying a nice stroll.
There was a couple of games of Softball on some distance away so I had no muggle trouble to worry about. I was right in my guess as to how the cache would be hidden but it wasn't until I tried a second spot before the cache revealed itself. TFTC.

My daughter had a tee ball game here this morning. So while she was playing one of my other daughters led me to the cache.
Nice hide.
Thanks.

#3354. Arrived at the closest car park to the cache, and found a direct short-cut leading to it. However, didn't bring the gumboots and didn't fancy crossing the stream. So, proceeded to have a longer walk in the deserted park today in the rain. Quick find afterwards. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Second try and there it was. Ground still a quagmire.
Geocache Insists on taking me to the wrong side of the river.
Perhaps a need for co-ordinates for parking?

Out for the day with Jono S to find caches out of Wanganui. This time was prepared with gum boots, walking stick etc and we found it with not much trouble . Don't know why It was so so hard the first time. Tftc
Like a previous cacher started in the wrong place (but the industrial area was the closest road end to the cache - just a shame there was a big creek in the way). Quick find once we found the right way to access the area, but very wet with all the rain this weekend (just got back to the car before another downpour). TFTC
Easy to see once I reached the location. Not so easy to reach. Tried to hide it with a little more cover so as it's not easily visible to passer-bys.
Second cache in a row I had to abandon because of the soggy conditions, though unlike the other one in this case there was plenty of warning in the logs! But as I was in the area I thought I might have a go. But deterred by the wetness and sogginess of the area and also didn't realy feell comfortable searching here anyway with active industrial premises where staff might have seen me acting weirdly! Probably advisable to do this one outside working hours, you might be hidden once you start attempting the cache but are potentially rather conspicuous getting there!
Bumbled into a fellow cacher, cache soon reviewed it self. Greetings from Australia
My GPS said it was in one tree, and my uncomon sence said another.
While I was searching I was ambushed by J+J.au .
Nice to meet these Ausy's.
They proved that persistance pays off.

On holidays from Australia enjoying a caching trip with J+J.au. Always amazed at the places and sights that geocaching shows me. SL..TFTC
Didn't take too long to find, just had to make good use of the hint. Signed long then replaced. TFTC
It was raining ground boggy and under water but tree area dry sort of. Was with Jonos and we spend about 45 minutes searching everywhere . Sure we had the right tree and wondered if cache had gone walk about as most logs said it was easy and quick. Will try again on next visit.
Our granddaughters checked out the playground at the south end of the park, then we headed for the cache, which was a quick easy find, then off to the playground at the north end of the park. TFTC
I arrived half a day early for a conference so decided to spend that time walking around Palmerston North collecting caches. It ended up being an eight hour hike in cold, wet conditions! Great exercise! Arrived at GZ to find a young family looking for the cache--they had only just started to try geocaching. Quickly joined the hunt and we came up with the goods. Had a nice chat about geocaching as we walked out of the park. Cheers for the cache!
Came back to find this with lillianavess after my visit was cut short last time to get to the airport. TFTC
GPSr took me straight to it, and a good wee hide too. A few games on here today but all taking place far enough away to not to be a bother.

Like the previous finders, we had a fair idea which tree would yield the treasure. A well chosen hide as the tree was big enough to hide us from the nearby rugby players and their supporters.

#3687. A very place today. In the nearest rugby game, looked like one team was getting a real hiding (saw two tries walking to and from GZ). Cache was found as advertised in the name. TFTC.
I selected my tree then began the search which took some time but after a good long look i found it
many thanks
many thanks
A quick find although clue was a little out. Left it a little higher than it was. Quiet in the park today.
Left a pet rock - a mouse. TFTC

Quick find after the tussle with "different ball game". Not too much fossicking needed. TFTC.
Danielle , Sarnia89 and I were rummaging in the tree. Then had to drop off Danielle off at the airport. Went back with Sarnia89 and she found it very quick.
If you do not like stuff under your finger nails you REALLY NEED gloves.
We did take a lot of stuff out of the tree.

Took a couple of attempts but finally found it after A LOT of rummaging... found with Lillianavess
Certainly a bit of rummaging required but being late on a wet afternoon there were no muggles in sight. TFTC.
TFTC, found with polargirl. Quite a few muggles around especially 2 kids playing in a pile of dirt 1m away. Came back later and found it
Took a long time to find this cache and when we had just spotted it a couple of kids came and started playing RIGHT THERE. Had to come back when the softball games had finished to sign the log. Found with 0oSpudgeo0. TFTC.
Potential SPOILER ALERT:
Hi everyone, I finally got around to checking this cache. It is still there although has been moved a wee bit. It's still at coordinates, just might need to dig around a bit. Good luck

Looked for ages, but nothing found. Searched high and low, even called Edvern in for a look, but nothing. ???
Was in Palmerston North with Mrs Yeetrees and we decided that we would do a few caches while we were here, seeing this cache I realised where it was and having done another cache in this park before I decided that I would park in the same carpark. Arriving at the carpark we noticed that in the distance that there was a softball game happening and I thought to myself that we may not get the cache. Deciding to attempt it we decided to leave the car where it was and walk to GZ instead of driving closer to the Fairs Road as it was less obvious for us to walk to GZ than drive around and park closer to the cache, anyway it was a great day for a walk and we both enjoyed it so it was fun, arriving at GZ I managed to spot where the cache was and double checked to see if the muggles we watching or not, they seemed to engrossed in thier sporting activities to worry about us so that was cool, grabbed, signed and retuned the cache without any issues and we were back on our way to the car, thanks for placing another cache in this lovely park and for bringing us to this lovely spot, TFTC TNLNSL (4077)
Finally found on third attempt. Great location. TFTC. Was a lot lower than clue stated so don't know if it had slipped. Left it where it was though. )

Quick find while lunchtime caching. Geckoh - you need to hide it a little better. Added a bit of camo in front, still visible if you are looking, but now no longer visible if you are not.
enjoyed the walk pastand luckly far away enough to avoid tenis enthusiasts eye. TFTC
Took a while for GPS to settle down and a bit of a messy find but we got there in the end! TFTC
Almost gave up, but caught sight of it at the last scan through the branches. TFTC
Found this one a bit higher than expected. Nice spot for a cache guys! Took us a while to find but Rebekah got it eventually. Replaced it at the level that the hint indicates. Wheres the trackable????!!!!! Nice spot for the kids to run around! Thanks
Found it lower than expected, might have jogged it loose myself, so restored it to the where the clue indicated.
Our first GC find! I was pretty excited about this one and had great fun searching.
found after dinner at the in-lord's.
the GPS led me straight to the right tree, but it took me far to long to find it I poked and prodded for 15+min (even looking in the other similar tree 20m away!) before taking a break to pat a visiting muggle's dog.
once they left, I found it immediately. how frustrating!
T4TC. good to see one in this park again

Well, approaching GZ there was really only one likely tree to check out, and there it was. Coordinates were spot on too. All quiet in the park today. TFTC.
Happy New Years.
2TF. Not so quick this time.
