cache is gone reported by Uni and Medusa on 15.7.2018, photo evidence by PSGv1 on 22.9.2020 and still no cache after 2 years
no Maintenance in 2 years, listing needs to go
Needs Maintenance 15.7.2018
co stats
Last Visited 1.6.2017
Current Slump
1771 consecutive days without a find since 1.12.2015
also unrelated to archived note but would be useful to add to cache listing.
traditional owners now have the right to go shooting in this gorge every day after 3pm. There are signs stating this and the traditional owners are supposed to put a red flag up when they are shooting.

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
After a climb and a search we found the remains of the logbook and no signs of a container unfortunately... Definitely due for some maintenance.
Cheers anyway.
Photo attached to show what we found remaining!
TFTC!

Unfortunately the cache was destroyed so unable to log, will need some maintenance. However, found with PSGV1 and Kaise123. TFTC!
This geocacher reported that the container is damaged. In fact, it is completely pulverised. I couldn't even see the blue clips.
Found at 16:52 with Olga during a week looking around the Flinders Ranges. I'd seen the turnoff to this gorge on the way from Arkaroola to Wilpena, but we didn't have time to stop yesterday, so came back today. Definitely worth the trip. Of course we didn't have time to look along the gorge any further than the cache, but maybe we'll get back here one day.
We didn't see anyone else, except just as we were exiting two 4WD turned up, presumably to camp the night there.
I hadn't seen the hint picture, so wandered around looking at the base of the trees and poking around rocks. I was on the verge of giving up when I picked up a flat rock and saw a wad of paper under it. This turned out to be the log book. I could vaguely make out Freddo's log on the faded paper. The container was crushed to bits, and unfortunately I didn't have anything to repair it with. I pressed the log book so that hopefully water won't get to it any more, and stacked a few rocks on top to make it obvious where it is.

I hadn't the description due to no reception...I was at the right place, but couldn't find...is the cache still there?
Tftc Sl. Camped here overnight and did a walk around to cache in the morning.
NOTE: container has dried out cracked. Needs new container or at least a plastic bag would help. See photo.

Found while caching with the owner on an awesome Flinders Caching weekend.
Surprising amount of water still in the creek attracted plenty of roo's and even
more feral goats. I must trek a bit further down the gorge next time or maybe
even climb a hill or two. When I'm not so sore!!
Thanks for bringing me to an awesome location

this is our favourite gorge in the central Flinders. Didn't attempt to scramble up to get the cache but logged for the sake of a photo nonetheless
Thanks for the cache Adrian Mc

Found with EsromL after camping at the top of the gorge the night before. A beautiful area. Thanks Adrian Mc for the cache.
Found in the morning with the CO after an overnight stay on the BBR '13 trip. We figured that driving in would save some time but didn't bother to try the padlocked gate so it was walking all the way (which is the only LEGAL way, incidentally). An interesting river formation that flows the opposite way to what's expected; we even found a running spring a little further down from GZ. Finally found the cache despite satlock that was as flaky as some of the rocks. Lovely spot that we'll come and visit again. TFTC Adrian.
This was a cache for geohubby as heights are not my thing! As it was I had to stand by nervously while he climbed up and up and searched around at a couple of different trees until he finally had cache in hand. Lucky that we remembered to bring a writing implement as there was none in the cache and hubby would have been most disappointed if he had been unable to record his log.
Great location and we approached it from the creek so missed the track - steep climb to get to cache but well worth the effort. Congratulations for putting in a cache that is not a drive and grab cache - our favorite.
Took nothing left tumblestone (Murray River agate from Albury Wodonga)

Our 1st DNF today.
We spent quite some time here at around 3:22:00 PM, but couldn't locate the cache.
Maybe we should have been rock wallabies

I really liked this one [^]. The wander down the creekbed produced a zillion photo opportunities. Thank god for digital cameras ; It would’ve cost a fortune to develop the 5 rolls of filum I would have used. Anyone remember those?? .
Near the base of a dead tree, huh? With a couple to choose from, up a tricky climb, I thought I would use reverse psychology on myself [:o)]. Decide which was the most likely given my ‘gut feeling’ and where the arrow was sort-of indicating – then go to the other one. Should work, right?
Well of course not. I shouldn’t have tried to outsmart myself (which is usually pretty easy ). Ended up scrambling all over the rocks until I finally ended up at my first choice .
This one gets a ‘fav’ tick. Thanks for bringing me here Adrian. I was going to make this my campsite for Day 2, but the only camping area was pretty dry and dusty right beside the road. I knew of a much more inviting spot further in the direction I was heading, so rounded up the horses and pressed on, ever northward. Cheers

Looked everywhere. We did not find the cache...very disappointed
We will have to come back another time and check it again

Gold to the frog nation. We needed the picture to find the correct dead tree. The cache was a quick find once we got there. We celebrated by nuding up for a smilie and having a swim in the nearby waterhole. Awesome. The pic tells the story. And then we camped the night nearby. Ah... The serenity. Fabulous location. Thanks for a great cache.
