I solved this ages ago and only managed to finally make it to GZ today, bringing geokids for support and coverage. The log is full and falling apart from age, I felt like Indiana Jones handling it. I found an empty line to write my log but it probably used to be someone elses log that has faded. TFTC Flintstones!

This one was solved with minizinc when preparing for the trip. Better than asking my brain for some answers, which it would have done, but I am a fan of the easy way.It was a short trip to Sydney to see family for the weekend. An afternoon walk with the crew had us going past this location. It was busy, but I brought with me some valuable items. Once was a 9 year old, the other was a 32 year old who had already found the cache. It was a team effort. Thanks for the cache Flinstones. Find #9924 at 1.23pm

We love a logic problem and without being immodest we do quite well at them. We took a road trip (and back) to visit the kids and grandkid for Christmas. We made a few stops along the way to grab the occasional prize. And in Sydney we took the grandkid for a few walks including one here. So we had to grab this one too.TNLNSLTFTC Flintstones Smile

Given the information, there were only two potential solutions to this good old algebra problem, one of them was going to be within the correct area and one of them not. Lots of respect to the previous solvers who wrote programs to solve this for them as I wouldnt be able to do that but I very much enjoyed the good old manual way of doing things, and a solution was pretty quickly arrived at last night. This morning with a nicely deserted GZ, the question was where to go up and while initially considering something which wouldve had a much higher terrain level ultimately settled on the right spot. Very weathered but still very serviceable log found signed and returned. Thanks for the mental and physical adventure!

TFTC from the Kayakviking! A little patience and good old pen and paper worked this thru. I must have lucked a good time later in day as had place to myself but I made very quick work of find as don't like these hide locations these days.KV

Solved the puzzle with a Python script. Came at an awkward time to make the find but managed it.

12-Apr-23
My work helped with solving this puzzle as I had a few ideas on what to do and had all the required tools available. As such, I solved this one and a few other puzzles in the area for this trip.

Fourth day of our trip and we have left the Rutherglen Mega and are now in Sydney, obviously. Continuing our usual holiday tradition, Huntress wanted a long run. We ran to Centennial Park and while Huntress did a second lap, I came to collect 3 geocaches. If I planned it correctly and the LGA borders are correct on my map, that should 3 geocaches in 3 different, and new, LGAs.

Wrote a semi-automatic program to solve this one and with some manual import had it solved for this trip.

Pleased I was here just after 8 am, as I had the place to myself. Might have looked weird, me in my running gear in that location otherwise.

Thanks for the cache Flintstone's

Really enjoyed this puzzle. We wrote a small program to solve it on html which we enjoyed writing. In the area caching today so collected the smiley on this one as well. A cool GZ! Deserted which made for a quick find. Signed and replaced. TFTC

Found It!
I solved this one yesterday without too many problems then tonight I went to GZ under the cover of darkness. No kids in the way at night. After working I which thing was the right thing to climb, up I went, evicted a spider living on the cache, and then soon had the cache in hand!

Knowing I was going to be at the SCG this evening I made a little spreadsheet today and progressed though various combinations for this puzzle until it all worked out. So tonight at half time, out for a walk, found a plausible location, did what was required and soon had CIH. Absolutely no one around. Should have had some spare log paper, this one is quite wet but still managed to make my mark. Have to say even though I’ve quite the clan this is my least liked type of hides. Thanks for the puzzle Flintstone’s #1439

Back in Sydney for work and to continue on some caches I had solved or previously started.

At GZ I pondered and figure it must be in that. So over I went. Found but too wet to sign.

Thanks to Flintstone's for the fun and the adventure.

First find with the kids today! Glad I had them with me to do the scrambling. I had solved the puzzle last night with the help of geoboyfriend but was worried seeing as there wasn’t a checker. When at GZ we got the kids up there although it was an adult who came up with the goods. Having the kids with us was a great decoy indeed.

Straightforward puzzle, fun hide! I came by the GZ very, very late at night and it's a very different place from how it is in the daytime. I ended up just hanging out for a while. TFTC!

Had GeoBaby for stealth support but ended up wishing I had brought the GeoToddler instead. Found a gap in the muggles and soon had CIH. Dusted off the spiderwebs and decided not to sign the log as it was quite brittle and fragile. Took a photo for proof. TFTC!

Flintstone's I found your cache Centennial Park Riddle on 19/2/21, 2:10 pm. This is my find 2955 and find # 4 today. Solved the puzzle some time back. Thought the cache was in one spot but when I was talking to “Martin Cousins “ he told me no it was somewhere else. With no little muggles around, did a quick search in the other spot and soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

Nice easy puzzle to solve. Another thing trying to access the cache.
Oldmorty and I have been eyeing GZ for a couple of weeks (the area always being occupied by lots a little muggles and their mothers).
But this morning we got up early and headed across to get our hands on the cache. No little muggles around, but we had to wait for a council employee to finish using his blower before we could gain access to the area. Very determined, I morphed into a mountain goat and, with a push from behind, I made my way up to the top and soon had the cache in my hand.
Thanks Flintstone's for placing this cache here for us to find.
Definitely a favourite point from me. This was really enjoyable.

Having solved the puzzle a couple of weeks ago, frazeydaze wondered who we were going to get to do the climbing to claim the prize. With grandchildren not living in Sydney and not being successful in getting anyone else to do some climbing for us, frazeydaze last night decided to bite the bullet and make an attempt in the morning herself. So early this morning we joined hundreds of other runners, joggers, cyclists, pram pushers, walkers, horses and dogs for the climbing attempt. While waiting for a council worker to blow clean the area for frazey's attempt I limbered up in preparation for some pushing and shoving. With the council worker gone frazey positioned herself on the starting blocks and with a couple of shoves from me it wasn't long before I heard the magic words "got it". Signing duties completed we adjourned to the nearby restaurant for a delicious breakfast and some log writing. TFTC and fun morning Flintstone's; also have a fp.

A good puzzle to get the brain bank working. I worked it out a couple days ago. I found two possible solutions but one was clearly not relevant so tonight ventured out in the gathering dusk thinking there would be less muggles. Yes indeed, but also more . The cache guardian of previous logs was in prime defence position this evening. I nearly left to come back another time, but managed some courage and had CIH. Tftc Flinstone’s

At first I thought it was going to be an easy mathematics riddle, but turn out to be a bit harder than i thought as I found two possible solutions to it.

In the end with the right coordinates I headed to GZ. At first I misread the coordinates and I found myself 5 meters above ground but in the wrong place...

After I found my bearings it turned into an easy found

Logbook was wet but I could place my name on it Smile

13-Feb-19
Solved this one quite a while ago, but it took several trips to actually begin my search. It seemed that every time I came to the park, there were kids playing here.

Today was my day though! No kids in sight, so I could pursue my quarry. A quick search later and I had the cache in hand.

Thanks!!

Nice easy and straight forward puzzle. Exactly as I like it Wink

Had to wait for few minutes for the muggless nearby to leave.

Got myself down to centennial park today to trial the upcoming parkrun course and make sure all was well. Still needed to get a few more kms in the bag so did some laps and made a detour for this one. Thanks for the spot on coords, definitely managed to eliminate some other possible hosts. Tftc

After a migraine of maths, I ventured out in the early morning and had the place to myself.
Reached in the hole and felt the required item to have CIH.
Man, that could of been extremely tough at certain times, thanks for the placement and fun hide Flintstones

Not a difficult puzzle if you make a few assumptions which is what maths is all about. Lovely spring day to go caching. I had to wait a while for a family to move on; then another arrives, so I retrieved it anyway. Going past a few young mothers, I remarked I had just crossed another off my bucket list.....

Found with JordsAu and pk1965

Found in the darkness. Last cache for the day. JordsAu attempted it first but no goods turned up. Then I went to look again and I felt it but being short I was afraid I might drop it. So JordsAu came up as I went down and retrieved it from hiding.
I'd solved it ages ago but finally got the chance to go looking for it tonight as we had to kill time waiting for traffic to disperse from the winning Swans game, which I was lucky to watch!

22/7/17 Found with AlphaDeltaIndigo.

On a mission to find Regular or Large sized caches, as well as Multi, Mystery and Letterbox / Hybrid caches to help me edge closer to completing the respective UGC challenges, I hatched a plan with AlphaDeltaIndigo and pk1965 to travel out west to Ebenezer, to take part in the monthly CITO and meet & greet events… and do some caching while we were there!

After a delayed get away, we arrived about three quarters of the way through the ‘Charles Kemp Reserve Bushcare - CITO Event 07/2017’ but, with the arrival of the late shift, we jumped straight into the bush regeneration to make the best use of our time. There was plenty of Mother of Millions (Bryophyllum species) to be weeded and we rolled up our sleeves and tried to make a positive dent in the area. We filled up a couple of bags before calling it quits, so we could get to the next event. Thanks For The CITO Event Cache Splitty Miller JJCC & teamMerlin.

Before we made our way over to the meet and greet event, we wanted to quickly pick up a few target caches in the vicinity. We made short work of the ‘Post Office Letterbox’ Hybrid Cache, ‘Within the pages’ Multi Cache (which we found 15m west of the final co-ordinates), the ‘Portland Head Letterbox’ Hybrid Cache and ‘EG-Q#14: Kirwan’s Retreat [TB Hotel]’.

While we wanted to go off and to more caches in the limited time we had today, it was hard not to want to stay the rest of the afternoon at the ‘Meet & Greet at the Hawkesbury 7/17’ Event Cache. What is always a great event, the gorgeous weather meant it was perfect sunning on the lawn and chatting about all things geocaching. Then came the soup… yum! Thanks For The Event and caches phlphotos, teamMerlin and Splitty Miller.

We eventually dragged ourselves away from the event in the hope we could pick up a few more caches before having to return back to the big smoke. We set our sights on the nearest unfound Multi Cache, ‘Cables Near the Oval’ Multi Cache in Sackville North, which was also a handy Regular Size. We collected the answers easily enough and did the calculations while taking a ride across the river. Once we were on the right side of the waterway, we ended up picking the hard way to Ground Zero, but in the end, it was not too tricky and we soon had the Cache In Hand. Thanks For The Multi Cache Ropes.

A cache that caught our eye was ‘Edgy’ in Sackville, which is also another Regular Size, because of its higher Terrain rating. We parked behind the abandoned car at the trailhead and followed the track to Ground Zero. We looked over the edge and was surprised by the large drop but managed to find the easiest way down to the cache. Nice views of the river properties below from here! Thanks For The Cache LittleBub.

On our way back to Sydney, we swung by the ‘Trig Station Letterbox’ Hybrid Cache in Nelson for a fast find. While we were there, I thought I may as well log the Trig Cache on GCA as well. Thanks For The Letterbox / Hybrid Cache AussieCacher. A fun day out west, soaking up the warm winter rays.

In the evening, after the Sydney Swans had a convincing win over the St Kilda Saints at the Sydney Cricket Ground, AlphaDeltaIndigo and I decided to pick up one more to make it ten finds for the day. The ‘Centennial Park Riddle’ Mystery Cache was one of the closest unfound, so we walked over, avoiding the traffic congestion around Moore Park. A tricky one to search for at night but AlphaDeltaIndigo went back to double check a spot and turned up the hide. Signed Log, Took Nothing Left Nothing. Thanks For The Mystery Cache Flintstone’s.

I solved the puzzle back in December, then visited Centennial Park in early January, but didn't have the numbers with me that day so ignored it. Today after cycling with some mates I decided to give it a shot.

Back in the bike after coffee and spied the GZ area. Oh no! I hate these places, especially when all the muggles have come out after all the recent rain to invade the space. After much deliberation I decided to give it a go when the coast was clear and had CIH in seconds. Signed, replaced and out of there without anyone the wiser. What was I worried about? Piece of cake! Back on the bike and on my way.

TFTC and the puzzle. What a lovely day to be out on the bike in a great place in the heart of Sydney.

Took a minor diversion on my way to work today to have a look at a couple of our previously solved puzzle caches in the Centennial Park area. This was my 1st of 2 finds for the day.

Parked the geomobile in Parkes Drive, then headed off toward GZ for a look. I dislike visiting these particular locations without being in the company of the rest of the geo-family, but today was wet & drizzly so not a muggle (big or small) anywhere to be seen. Quickly set to work searching the facilities and, thanks to the very helpful hint, it was a quick find in the very first place I looked. Well you have to get lucky sometimes Smile. Signed the log sheet and then replaced as found. TFTC Flintstones.

Started the morning caching around La Perouse and finished off there with a nice lunch. A drizzly day is perfect to visit this area and without any watchful eyes, I made an immediate find today. Funny that after a few months since the last find, another regular cacher has made the find on the same day.

Nice to get this DNF converted to a smiley.

Now back to Chop Duster where I was muggled out just before coming here.

Up from Canberra for work. Last night, as I sat next to the Edgecliff Angel, I figured out this GZ. Then I got a call to dinner in Potts Point. Collection would have to wait for the morning.

Rose before 6am and ran from Potts Point to Centennial Park. Not many people around. Arrived at GZ. Thankfully it was early in the morning, with no young 'attendees'. So I did some climbing. I identified one likely spot, but headed to ground level to retrieve a stick. This was used to clear some web and any possible owners. It was also used to check in a spot for a possible 'out of place' object. Aha. Then I reached in and collected the container. Signed and descended. Then onto The Coffin. TFTC Flintstone's and for bringing me to a nice Park.

Getting here at 3pm, I was expecting the park to be full of kids and was pleasantly surprised not to hear an screaming as I approached. Unfortunately, there were a couple of younger ones moving around the equipment with their mothers in tow. I managed to make my way up on what I assumed was GZ without attracting too much attention. Used the iPhone to peer into "webby" hollows but wasn't able to spot anything. Decided to move on before I was invited on a play date. Will pick a miserable rainy day to try again.

Third attempt at a mystery cache by Team JZ this weekend, and third fail! The likely location seemed to fit with the hint and earlier logs, but after several scans, we turned up empty handed. Torch light may not have been the best, but it definitely felt like we had prodded, twisted, and poked every thing up there! Will try again soon.

Unsure if I had the right coordinates, I set about climbing everything that could be climbed by someone 1.5m tall. No luck though; the GPS refused to settle.

Calculated the coords last night, using maths that I still remember from some time ago. Decided to hit GZ just before 6am, whilst still dark. Only to be confronted by adult mugglers in the area doing their morning exercises all around the GZ location. Lucky under the cover of darkness retrieval and replacement was easy. Thanks Flintstone's for the cache.

Together with Spade52 I traveled for almost 6 weeks through Down Under Australia. We made our trip, using a Spaceship rental car, visiting the 5 most southern states of Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Australia Capital Territory. Spade52 was the navigator and I the driver. We mostly avoided the motorways and mainly used the coastal and local roads that led us through many small nice and rustic villages and sleeping towns. We stayed in motels, backpacker hostels and occasionally a campsite. Luckily the weather was very agreeable during our trip with nice temperatures and very little rain. We especially enjoyed the nature, the rain forest, the wilderness, the (for us) extraordinary indigenous flora and Australia's wildlife. On our trip we visited many geocaches. All CO's thanks for showing us many interesting locations and special spots.
Our last day in Sydney and the temperature went up to almost 40 degrees Celsius. Before heading for the airport we made a short walk in Centennial Park "to feed the black swans" and find a geocache. WJ already solved the puzzle at home, but discovered that GZ is a hard place to go for a man alone on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Today we went together on a Thursday and the number of muggles was much less than before. After a short search we found our final cache in Australia and hurried back to our B&B, flying for the flies and the heath. Very nice hide.

Today we finally had a chance to visit Centennial Park do the maintenance on this cache and find the new Cache in the Park. New container with functioning seal and new dry Log in place.

04-Jul-15
The second find of the day in Sydney, whilst visiting Paddington Markets. Well this was the stupidest idea ever by me. I had solved this one at my grandma's last night and was a bit concerned about GZ. It could have been worse but I thought I would need my ultimate stealth. I will try and not give away as much as possible, and will encrypt the spoilers. So after grabbing the last one, I headed over to this cache. Once there, it was clear that my best skills may not be enough. I headed over to GZ and made my way up to the right level and began my search. I tried my hardest to be as inconspicuous as possible but as the CO (and previous finders would know), this may not be the best place to be on a Saturday morning.

Anyway, I began looking and eventually figured out where the cache would be located. I had a few watchers so I tried to grab it when they weren't looking. After a grabbed the cache, one of them called out to me. They were about to call the police, and I had to do everything possible to reassure them that I wasn't doing what they thought I was doing. After talking to them for a little about Geocaching, I signed the log and replaced the cache. I don't think they will remove the container as they don't live in the area and were only passing through the area on an around Australia trip. After coming down, their daughter made me play with her for about 5 minutes before I could finally leave (which is strange after what they thought I was doing). TFTC and the adventure Flintstone's, it was everything they warn you about in the forums Razz!

Had solved this one months ago and it was on my 'will do when I'm in the way' list. I drove over and parked. Lucky, it was wet, cold and drizzling as I walked to GZ.Checked the hint and went straight for the cache. BAM, gotcha. Log IS wet as previously stated, so took pic so as to not destroy the log. Found the puzzle a little tricky. Took me back to my highschool maths days. Didn't take too long though. Got to GZ, circled it thinking.. surely not. Started to doubt our original calculations, but thought it was worth a look, just to make sure. With the clue in mind, we spotted a structure that fit the description and up we went. Had a few questioning looks from muggles young and old, but managed to make the find in a casual lean and feel, before taking it somewhere safe to open up. Confirming last log- the seal has broken and the log inside is very wet, TFTC

#1247 (4 of 5 today)

A Trivia night back at work this afternoon gave me the opportunity to drive further east than usual to grab some caches.
There are 3 puzzles I'd solved that were possible targets. I got to two of them.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Last intended cache of the day after trivia.
Another I'd solved ages ago, and as the clock neared 8pm, with still enough light, I thought it was my best chance to have GZ to myself.
Almost right. A few muggles playing football a short distance away, but not with a clear view of the search.

There was really only one spot for this. But today it was spiderweb city. So had to obtain a stick to clear it away before making the grab.

Completed signing duties and replaced.

Then checked one of today's published caches - still no found log after 2 hours... It's probably grabbed but should I check anyway as it's sort of on the way home...

Undoubtedly, part of the difficulty of this cache is the muggle factor. Well at 6:30am on a Sunday morning with rain threatening, I had that part covered. Looked at the wrong structure initially, but in the end it was easy enough

The man stood in cleated bicycle shoes on the metal parapet trying, in a quietly frantic way, to return his ridiculously expensive torch (aka overlarge phone) to the back pocket of his cycling jersey, clinging to the single handhold with his other hand in the dark and silent park, 4-5 metres above the ground....how had a pleasant quick caching expedition descended into farce so quickly? I'm not sure I can tell you, but after feeling something with my fingertip in a webby hole, I wasn't going to fish it out until I had identified it with a torch, hence the parapet manoeuvre. All ended well, the phone survived the descent, as did I, and the log was signed and replaced. Maybe not one for Felix the spy, yet. Not sure how how you'd log this cache with muggles around! Thanks Fred, Wilma, Pebbles and Bam Bam!

Solved the sneaky riddle a few months ago but waited until I was gathering caches in the area to jake the journey worthwhile

When I got to GZ there were two muggle families close by so u geared to another nearby cache before doubling back

The kids had gone as rain was on the way.

Fun hide, had a giggle as I made my getaway too

I had a few hours to kill, with the wife overseas and the older kids watching a show at the Opera House, so decided to take the geotoddler caching. I had solved the puzzle last night, and while I was a bit cautious due to the long time since the last successful find decided at worst the lad would have fun at the playground.

It was a gorgeous winter afternoon so I was surprised at how empty the park was, with only one other muggle parent and child. With the geotoddler in tow it was no problem getting to GZ and I was glad to quickly get CIH. I signed the blank log, replaced the container, then continued enjoying some rare 1:1 time with the 3 year old.

Thanks for the cache.

Decided to embark on an afternoon caching mini-expedition starting at Centennial Park, through Paddington and ending at Moore Park. This was #2 of 7 finds on this excursion:

I used to be quite good with these types of equation puzzles however years of computer programming have made me extremely lazy; rather than use my mental skills to solve the puzzle directly, I decided to write a small script to solve it for me. My script concluded that there were 24 distict solutions however after checking the coords, there was only one that it could possibly have been.

I made my way to the calculated GZ with fingers crossed there would be no young muggles about, since I would have felt a little uncomfortable retreiving the cache if there had. Thankfully GZ was deserted this early in the afternoon, only a couple of workers gathering leaves into the back of their utility nearby who's view of GZ was obscured by some trees. I made a quick march towards GZ, quickly scaled the object, grabbed the cache, and crouched down as low as I could to complete signing duties without arousing suspicion. Replaced cache and used the quick exit option to make my escape.

Thanks Flintstone's for the puzzle and deviously hidden / slightly more challenging cache!

Half counted and half guessed the coords, no problem there. But the retrieval on a sunny Sunday afternoon, that was a different storey. We usually don't use this kind of equipment but what we wouldn't do for a smiley?! We waited the queue and as we guessed where to look, we did the retrieval very fast. Signed the log nearby, waited… and replaced it into the position.

Thanks Flintstone's for an amusing cache!

483 Took a bus from the inner west and walked a mile to get to this one. Knowing that this was my one shot at this for a while, I had checked my solution thoroughly. Quick find once the GPSr stopped jumping around. Tks Flintstone's.

Did most of the sums and guessed where to look, arrived at GZ with only 2 muggles about so I did the old pretend to be on mobile phone trick and soon had cache in hand. SL and replaced. TFTCM

My first approach to this puzzle was using the usual MO - random guesses and lots of them. When that didn't work I resorted to maths and logic and had the solutions out quickly. GZ is a challenge for a person like me but I was pretty sure where it was so was in and out in a flash, avoiding any unwelcome muggle interaction.

Thanks Flintstone's. The cache is in good shape. Found at 12:14 pm.

Late evening caching with raindoctor. It's been a while since I've been on a slide. A fun find, tftc! Smile

Thank goodness misspalot was with me. I would have never thought to look there. Thanks for the cache. My hips got stuck on the way down.

Like others, I found that there could be more than one solution to the equations but only one possible solution would fall inside the park. Nice spot, although had to return in a period of light drizzle to make sure I was bestowed with a muggle free environment. Still, I hope the cars in the distance didn't notice a suspicious individual climbing something that he probably shouldn't have especially in a light drizzle.
Sl & kept dry. Tftc!

Solved the puzzle a couple of months ago hoping to have a chance to come here en route to a Sydney Swans game. Didn't eventuate but today's bad weather stopped our coast walk so I headed here. Only a few muggles so began to look around - 2 likely spots. Had a notebook in hand and was asked, "Isn't this great equipment are you checking the design for your park?" If only I had the space to do that!
So off to the picnic shed for lunch, then a walk around. Saw a flock of more than 30 yellow tailed black cockatoos munching on pine cones - bit dangerous as they throw down the half eaten bits and choose a new one, and then we met a group shooting a new Adidas commercial.
Time to head home with a quick check of GZ. Only one muggle family... yes, go for it. Chose 1 of the 2 possible hides, got up to it and yes CIH, SL and returned then did a kid thing to get down, unseen I hoped.
"Hello what were you doing there?" said a little voice. Hmmm ....... what to say? So I explained. Well the dad hadn't even noticed me but the young eager eyes had. They were intrigued, he looked it up on the internet and was immediately keen, a new exciting idea for next weeks school hols.
TFTC it was a fun stop in Centennial Park in more ways than one! Smile

23/05/13. 7:49 AM. Cache #630. Current streak:256 days. I'd crunched the numbers a couple of months ago, but wasn't sure of where my results ended up, but an email from the CO confirmed I was right. The next issue to deal with was the high muggle factor (and types of muggles) that could be a problem for this location. Literally saved it for a rainy day, but luckily this morning the rain was fairly light and even stopped a couple of times. As I approached GZ, thanks to the hint there was only one or two places it could be. Did the necessary manouvres, signed the dry log, returned it and carefully returned the non wet way. TFTC and thanks for your help Flintstone's. }:)

Nice spot. My maths must be rusty first coords had me in woollahra after 45 minutes of number crunching figures that was wrong and in 2 minutes of
Bashing numbers came out with the right coords. How to check I know why not middle of the day with many muggles on a glorious autumn day. Looked at likely spots jumped up and bingo first spot. My next mission is to place some in this park. Too good to pass up. Tftc

King of the castle.
A Nice hiding spot easily overlooked.

Worked out the two mathematical solutions to the puzzle last night and eliminated one based on geography. Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge!

I made my way over to GZ today after work and I swear I had searched everywhere until....yep...found it! Couldn't believe I had passed over this spot! What a great place to hide a cache. Wish there were more like this in Centennial Park as I go here often.

Thanks again for the adventure!

Container replaced. All good to go again.

Please be careful that no curious eyes watch you while you retrieve it.

This one is obviously gone walk about. I will check on it shortly and let you know once it is up and running again so keep you solutions handy.

Gave this a go today. Nobody in the park because of the rain. Checked the things relating to the hint, but didn't see a cache. Will wait until the next finder to look again. Cheers.

Think we have coordinates but know luck will try again soo

Is there only one set of possible coords that satisfy all equations and will put in centennial park? I have found a few combinations but some are really borderline park and some are outside park. Is there a verification we can do? I dont really fancy going all the way out with the wrong coords.

Thanks Very Happy

Found the coordinates fine and based on the other logs I was definitely in the right spot, but unfortunately no luck finding it

On a high after doing the mattens, figured I'd get in here and give this a go! TFTC Smile love this park!

Well after 6 hours working on this riddle I give up..The solutions I came up with fit, and were don't mathematically and it bring me to the middle of the ocean...

------------------------------------------------

Well after doing math, it did not work. I then did a little trial and error and have coordinates! It took 7 hours but I'll go look tomorrow Smile

This was my 4th visit, trying to find GZ muggle-free!! Not only tiny muggles at times, but a local elderly man had decided this was a perfect area to walk back and forth for half an hour doing his daily exercises!!

By now, I was pretty certain where the cache would be and I eventually managed to find a time to get right up to GZ and check it out! It was extremelt difficult for me to reach but i juuuuuust managed and the log was duly signed and returned.

Yeah! And Happy Birthday to caughtatwork, a tribute cache especially for him Big Grin

I solved the co-ords last week and finally had a minutes to duck out at lunch time to look for the cache. Not a chance, GZ was covered in tiny muggles and their Mothers.

Calcs stumped me a tad until I had to assume a value to begin with then it all fell into place quite easily , apart from the "help" from my nine year old as she parroted my out loud attempts to solve the Calcs , off to try busboys bridges now !

After parking the car for the nights events we spotted this one near by and just had to detour. We scratched a solution on the back of a piece of paper and in seeing the area we thought we had it correct. We followed the GPSr into the park after dark which is probably a good time to find this hide given the locaiton of GZ. We soon got to the right elevation and found the cache with the co-ords spot on. We then had a little trouble getting the cache out but got there in the end. We completed the signing duties and then replaced. TFTFC

I chose the perfect day for this cache - the sort of day where no one chooses to go outside unless they have to. I had solved the puzzle some time ago and had had a good look at the satellite image, but was shocked to find the co-ordinates I had previously recorded pointed to somewhere on the other side of Bondi Junction.

Rather than retreat i summoned what i thought i had seen and started to hunt around GZ. A look at the hint eliminated most of the possible spots. I was glad of the windy weather that kept away all muggles as this office attired crazy clambered around the playthings. Eventually I spotted a possible hiding place on an adjacent structure, and found the cache within. TFTC
