Had a goo look around gz but i think it may be missing. Hasnt been found in a while and fear for the worst.
unfortunately not there. two of us looked quite thouroughly but not a cracker today. enjoyed the jokes though. What do cows do on their day off? Go to the mooovies of course.
Did you hear about the man who worked in the glasses factory? He fell into the lens machine and made a spectacle of himself. Arf. TFTC.
Did the puzzle in the airport on my way over here. Made the find today. No little muggles around so an easy find. TFTC
Found at 12:04:00 p.m. on 10/12/2012.
I had tried this a few other times but there were too many muggles. All clear today, the cache being fairly visible through the foliage.

At the moment we are on a bit of a scramble to find all of the solved mystery caches we have before we leave Dunedin early in 2013. Mrs TEF has been getting into the daily habit of walking the buggy (with TEF Jnr inside) so today we decided to head up the road from home and grab this cache.
We wanted to wear appropriate Jersey's and have a photo with the sign! May have to come back and do that another day (bad taste?) Mrs TEF tracked down the container which was quite exposed, but we hid it again a bit better than we found it. Had a great time on the swings with TEF Jnr. he giggled and jiggled the whole time.

Nice quick find. The kowhai shrubs had the last of their flowers and the kakabeak are right at their peak. Pretty!
Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 5 of the road trip. This was our last day of caching in Dunedin region and after picking up a few caches on our way back towards Dunedin.
After finding GC14HDD - A Predictable Cache (Otago), this was the next cache that we had on our list as we made our around Dunedin, this was the next puzzle cache that I had on my list of solved puzzles. I had managed to solve this puzzle cache before making my way down to Dunedin for the MEGA. This was one of the those puzzle caches that I had managed to solve very quickly and checked with google earth to see if I was in the correct location.
We managed to find a parking spot near the final GZ after reading the hint we soon realised what we were looking for and once at GZ we soon found the hint object and managed to retrieved, signed and replaced back as found.
Thanks nofs for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5144). Another great little Christmas puzzle, great to get the present in the end so I must have being on the good book with Santa.

A quick find today. Thanks for the fun puzzle which was solved before we left ho ho home. TFTC
Found as part of an 8 day NZ Mega Event trip. Day 5 - Our last full day in Dunedin which was mainly filled in by another trip out on the peninsular and a stroll on Flagstaff hill. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Came here with fozzmiester, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees on pleasant morning's drive along the Peninsula and back. Solved the simple puzzle long ago in anticipation of coming here and the cache was a quick find. Signed log, TFTC!
Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroads and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, stegan.
Thanks for the cache, stegan.
Another day mooching around finding mystery puzzles in Dunedin - had this solved back in Motueka so it is always nice to have absolute confirmation when you find the cache - thanks for the puzzle and the cache
Nice little puzzle and after the green light we love getting the log signed as absolute proof the workings were right A quick find and a nice relaxing hide place TFTC
Another one I looked at while in the study room at home. Knew which jokes went with which ones pretty much instantly, as I am so used to these terrible jokes!! We have them with the kids at work if they do their homework... it's like fill in the gaps, and there are always really bad jokes... the best one was 'Why was the maths book so sad? Because it had so many problems.' And if that's the best one... haha.
Cache was then very easily quickly spotted in the place it was hiding in, and luckily there was a break in showers/snow when we got it!

Day 4 on our caching trip to Dunedin for the NZ MEGA 2012 event with Gunnie69, Kaisho53, Ozibags, Ghostgumsand MrMeccano. The morning was spent wandering the Flagstaff hunting in the mist & rain, rambling and plundering. After the CITO event, the afternoon was spent starting at the Octagon and heading through North Dunedin, around Forsyth Barr Stadium, University of Otago and heading out towards Leith Valley.
Sorry about the late lo but almost caught up now

Caching with Ghostgums, Mr Meccano, Gunnie69, kaisho53 and fourbees after attending the NZ Mega. had a chuckle...and a groan or two, as I looked at the questions. The cache was found in good condition. TFTC stegan.
A light hearted puzzle that kept the junior Gunnie's entertainer for a few minutes. Armed with a final set of coords, GZ beckoned so the group headed in for a wee look around. [^]
Thankfully, it was nice and quiet in the area and there was no sign of observers in the nearby dwelling. In we went and in a minute or so, the container was located. In with a group sticker and with a swift replacement undertaken, we shot into the van and headed down the road.
After checking out the final coords on google earth before leaving home, the area is a little more established now and GZ has more to offer in the way of hiding spots...
Found in the company of fellow Queensland hunters Kaisho53, OziBags, TheFourBees, Ghostgums and Mr Meccano.
Cheers stegan.

We solved a few puzzles at home with some help of our geo friends in the hope of finding some whilst here for the MEGA.
So today was to be a day of finding puzzles and attending the CITO event.
Grabbed this one after the CITO. Quaint little park.

TFTC. Out with the first night caching gang of the Mega. The puzzle was solved by others of our party, so thanks to them I was able to sign the log.
Found on the trip to the NZ mega with Sam walkers. Solved this one back at home and was out with Sam Walkers and Tealby doing acouple of night caches. We drove right past this one and thought cool another puzzle. Got to gz and made a quick find. A great easy puzzle TFTC
Solved with Darby&Joan before coming down to Dunedin for the mega. We had a challeng to complete tht required finding 5 puzzles, so this was our mission for the day. TFTC and giggles and groans while solving.
Nine cachers went out @ night caching from the Mega so the cache din't have a chance of staying hidden for long - this one found by Kiwi Nomad . 8/16 today #60 Mega total for MacPacMum.
Combined effort with helefant prior to our visit. Used our combined skills to solve some puzzles having gained a couple of new skills from a skills puzzle day. Wasn't sure how accurate we got this one, but when we got to GZ we were spot on. Nice. We had psychrn along for the ride this afternoon too. SL. TFTC.
A puzzle easy enough for me to solve and a simple find at night - despite failed batteries and rose bushes! TFTC.
How many cachers do you need to find a cache? In this case only 9! I know not very funny, but we're all crackers!
Cachers in our group DNFed this earlier in the day due to muggle watching from house across road. No trouble tonight. Cache grabbed and signed. Lovely moon shining bright as the cloud cleared briefly. Thanks for the wise cracks.

Solved this one back home. Nice puzzle and loved what was in the cache. Wished our geograndson could fit into it. Found with troobloo and Bushbaby321 while at the NZ MEGA. SL TN Left some PT's along the way. T4TC
Ok so I hadn't actually worked it out before leaving home but I will do it - honest. Was with a group of cachers night caching and as I hadn't got my new GPS working I was hunting blind and picked a different bush from everyone else and was lucky to make the find. Which also meant I was 'lucky' enough to have to sign the log book for the *whole* group. Thanks for the cache.
As a parent of three boys this was the lame joke I chose:

535 I'd solved this in readiness for our trip south for the Mega. Man some of those cracker jokes are lame... well actually .. most are eh? But that's what we expect at Christmas! It didn't take too long to sort them but man what a bunfight to get the cache! We could have done with a cracker or two to celebrate and we had the numbers to pull a packet of them! It was an incredibly good night out caching with friends though. TFTC
Usually we are fair weather non-night cachers, but when loose on a Mega weekend, it's all about caching no matter what the weather is, or whether it be night or day. La Vista had visited earlier in the day when it was hailing ! The man across the road stood at the window staring at us as if we were truly crackers so rather than search & confirm this theory beyond resonable doubt, we left GZ & was able to return on a calmer dryer night. This was the first night raid by geocachers from Canterbury & Southland, with one objective this weekend - have a cracker of a time out caching!

Nice easy find. I wonder why we insist on buying Christmas crackers when the quality of them seems to decline every year. Just tradition I suppose.
Quick find. Mrs Us04 used to live about 5 houses down the road as a kid and remembers cows and horses living here (though not at the same time)

Had good fun with these, especially since most were new to me and then more fun pretending to just chill on a rainy morning

How do snowmen get around?
They ride icicles.
...which was the excuse to make a longish detour past here on the way home from work, picking up bikes after they'd been serviced. Didn't have the coordinates, but had looked at the spot with Google Earth. It was pouring with rain, so Huey definitely had the last laugh!
