I was present way back in 2012 when it was found by daywalk. I started geocaching in 2015 and it was a few years later before I returned. I soon spotted it but oh dear, I'm not tall enough. I returned a few years later with a step ladder and after going for a walk with a group of friends we popped over for a look. Another oh dear! The two adjacent old wooden poles are gone, there's a new fence, but the third pole is still off to the side. We had a half hearted look for it. My memory could be wrong so I decided to put a watch on it. Well, there were finds that kept popping up so I was in the area, complete with step ladder and I decided it have a look see. It took a bit of looking but I finally spotted it. It took a bit of careful manoeuvring but managed to get it out. Nice to get this one done and dusted. Thanks.
Nice quick find. Higher than expected and need tweezers or multitool to extract. Still dont know what the hint is though. Tftc
I examined GZ, thinking it seemed like the most likely hiding place, but failed to locate the cache . It took a second look from StreetWalkerNZ, who has the advantage of several inches over me, to spot it. TFTC.
#23351. This one took a bit of finding. We decoded the hint, but couldn't make much sense of it. Reading of past logs helped to narrow down possible locations, and with some careful peering I spotted the wee blighter. TFTC.
**S45° 51.893 E170° 28.471** 5mt off co'ods. No one is coming back to maintain this soggy cache. Popped in RITR logslip but with no cap, it's gonna be always soggy. A good marker will sign log should peeps remember their pens. Frankly heaps of photos show us signing log lol. Cito'd a car battery chucked down the slope. Three watchers; 11favs ***5th** Wheel challenge Sept **Teamwork 5th** Mystery 50pt **175pt***. tftc
been walking the dog through here for 2 years and finally decided to get back into caching and there's one right there! 2nd time trying this one. seems to be trend among finders. great hide. definitely had to read previous logs for clues. have no idea what the clue is supposed to be. cant help thinking the cache is supposed to have a cap or lid on it though? paper was wet.
Great one TFTC
Great one TFTC
I had a rough idea what the cache was after reading previous logs. I was close. Still do not understand the hint. Thanks
Gosh that was a difficult-to-find and difficult-to-extract cache. So glad to have found it. TFTC
This was the forth trip to grab this cache. The log is full and no room for more paper.
Started early this morning so I grab the 6 more caches i need for my latest challenge. 3 have unusual DT ratings so that is the reason for the presistence to get this one. Thanks for a fun find. Wink wink

After many failed attempts looking in the wrong area and with some extra help from another member was finally about to find it
Found it... ouch getting to that one with my torn rotator cuff. Logbook is full but managed to write my name in. Thanks
The cache is still there, albeit slightly harder to get to with the new fence
A few visits over the Summer and thought next time I would need some obscure TOTT. Came by on shortcut trek from the residence to discover the old poles were gonnee at the GZ, replaced with a wery shiny new chain link fence and equally new steel poles all the way from corner to the driveway. Not sneaky hide left, I had some ideas and would have given it one more go on a fine day.Stegan no longer responding to cache logs, recently active but not maintaining recalcitrant hides. Needs Archived or checked and replaced. Two watchers, you choose.
I have looked for this on multiple occasions with no luck. A while back I was talking to a previous finder and he said I was on the right track.
On Wednesday I run up from kaikorai college as my son was playing handball. I spotted the cache but couldn’t get it out of its hiding place.
Today I only work half a day so decided to drive here to finally sign the log.
A lucky day for me.

We’ve tried twice now...but still no joy. Well you cannot win them all;-) greetings from Denmark
I had looked for this one before without luck. Got it this time and squeezed my name on the log. Tftc
Had tried looking for this some time ago with no success. Somehow today it seemed so much easier. Log is full but still managed to scrawl down the side. I left none the wiser to what the clue meant. TFTC
Found last night in the pouring rain but without the right tool I had to run home in defeat... today, however, I returned with the tool in hand and made a successful extraction.
Tried this one some years ago and gave up due to size and sports activity at the time. Had to have two tries to find it today but persistence and quiet weekday helped. Logbook still full. Managed to find faded area to record my visit. TFTC
Still no idea what clue means.

Finally after four visit we found it!!! Great clue!!! Unfortunately couldn’t sign the log!!
Tricky little hide indeed. Managed to spot it but would of been stuck if it wasn't for PC Sniff supplying the necessary tool. Tftc
After getting a hint from another cacher I thought I may as well go find this. It still took me a few minutes to spot but I had come prepared so getting to the log was not a problem. Thanks
A quick park and that I had tried before but like many I could not find. So thanks for the replacement so I could come back to get it. TFTC
Scouted around, saw the treasure, then came the trickiest of extrications. With a lot of perseverance (and muttering under the breath), the log was revealed, and Mr. Rex found ample space to make the scrawl. Cheers again, stegan.
Still needs a new log - been nearly a year with no replacement since needs maintenance logs posted.
Enjoying holidaying in the area with tmann421.
A nice quick find for us here today. Log full but managed to fit in our names. TFTC

Another one pretty quickly found on the drive around.

down in dunners for the weekend to catch up with my prodigy KJR for a bit of a caching session this was their first foray into night caching
this did take a wee while to find and a lot longer to extract using the tools we had In our pockets but finally got it definitely needs more paper . tftc

Out with BCD for a bit of night caching. Took a while to find but even longer to extract the log as R left the tweezers at home on the kitchen bench! Nice hide. TFTC
Walked back to this one tonight after not finding it an hour before.... and there it was. After reading earlier that the log was full I had some tape in my trusty cache bag and extended it a bit. TFTC

Gosh, I dislike micro's. You see, the thing with micro's is that they are so small they are hard to find. I did manage to find it on my first visit, but only after a good 15 minute rummage around, only by applying the experience of a whopping 35 cache finds, and only by poking where normally I wouldn't poke.
Managed to scribble my name on the very very bottom edge of the logbook, the next one who finds it will have great difficulty finding a square micrometre to put their mark. I concur with KeryNZ: it desperately needs a new logbook.

Thanks for the cache! Another great hide. Found while passing through Dunedin for the weekend.
Determined to get rid of the blue sad face, back we went. And there is was- usual story- why didn't we find this last time? Who knows. Gets a favourite from us. (And still have absolutely no idea what the clue means!)
I can be a bit smug about this one, because I was so sure what I was looking at was the cache, despite what the others said!
Out for a hunt with Hevic, Silvachief and Jaycie. We'd had a few disappointments beforehand, and I initially dismissed this one as unfindable as well. Hevic, however, showed some very Curry-like stubbornness at something a little bit odd, ignoring my comments of "I'm almost convinced that isn't it"... and two minutes later she had the logbook in hand. I am quite impressed with this cache - cheers!
Found today while out caching with Jaycie, Hevic and CJ-Curry. Sneaky spot, was pretty convinced it was somewhere else but Hevic's persistence won out in the end. Tftc!
I found it alright, actually very quickly Getting the darn paper out was another story, getting my pen to work when I need it to was another again [:(!] , so at the moment my signature is a squiggle. Still, clever though and a neat wee area which I didn't even know existed
DNF but it seems almost a rite of passage that people don't get this one first time. We'll be back.......
Finally, after several visits, I nailed this one. Although I had a good idea of what I was looking for (knowing a little of the way CO's mind works and his propensity for hand crafting cache containers), it still took me some time. Neat hide, and unlikely to be found accidentally, even though it is a high muggle zone.

Found it. Clever hide, clue gave us nothing, touched it twice but Doully soon had it in hand.

This one proved quite elusive for some time, then the sharp eyes of Geo Jessie spotted it, sneaky hide! TFTC!
searched for this one for quite a while, made harder by the fact that my GPS was packing in.
By the time I was holding my phone aloft in the middle of the field in a thunder storm I thought: time to go home.

6243. We went straight there today and found it in seconds. What a relief after our last frustrating visit. Thanks. Iris and Rodney.
I turned around and noticed a muggle watch me about 30 metres away. So I decide it was time to move on.
On way home from spending time with family and thought a short, brisk (if wet) walk was needed to walk off some of the excesses of eating. Of course we had to stop on our way past for a brief search here. Surprised ourselves with how quickly we spotted this one! Found with Aoraki Sheep.
This must be our third (or is it forth?) time looking for this elusive cache. Must have been something to do with the weather because debsnz turned this one up very quickly. Pleased to finally tick this one off our previous DNF list
Got it tonight after trying yesterday with the Hammond Family (have to thank jrb5050 for good hint)
Came back with jrb5050 who I had to admit is a LOT more tenacious than I am when I was ready to give up for a second time she let out a whoop and all I could do was sit back in awe at her find and the trickiness of the CO. Superbly camouflaged cache. Thanks again for a great cache.
PC Sniff and I took advantage of a wonderfully warm and sunny morning to take another look at this one. The awful thing about a Stegan Cache is that it is so very very hard to find. The wonderful thing about a Stegan Cache is that when(if?) you do manage to find it, you feel so very very good. Brilliantly disguised. You are a legend. Thanks.
When I saw the location I thought of similar looking apparatus in another Dunedin location and hunted accordingly ... without success. Have since done a PAF and I was on the right track so will need to make another trip and search more thoroughly next time.
Had been here before when reasonably new to geocaching with no luck. Back today to grab another cache further up the gulley so thought we should check this one out again. Sadly we still didn't have any luck Looks like we will need to come back (again).
Found at 3:50:00 p.m. on 5/07/2013.
I can remember trying to FTF this one to no avail many moons ago. I have been back a coupleof times since then but I only managed to get this sneaky hide today - YAY

Caching in Dunedin for the weekend as... well, a nice spot to go for a cache over the weekend, as I can combine it with an excuse to visit mum!
Mum had apparently been at this cache a couple times before, but failed, and so I hed been brought along today as an extra pair of eyes.
We came here, and I went straight to the likely spot. And started looking. Others came along too, and mum quickly came up with the cache... this was recieved by a "Muuuuum! That was your spot to look last time we were here!!!" by my little brother.
So had to have a bit of a laugh at that, signed the log, and headed back to the car just as some dog walkers showed up
TFTC!!

Two previous attempts left me empty handed but just walked up straight to it this time round - great hide, I must have been in AgentS mood today TFTC!!!
Stegan, this one pushed all the buttons for me. Nano in the wild, open spaces and muggles with dogs. The cords took me to an unlikely spot but after some careful observation I spied a potential hide. Presto! Thanks Stegan for an awesome hide. Another favourite point from me.
Our second stegan cache is less than 10 minutes - that's got to be a record in itself!! This was a tricky hide alright but we're obviously thinking like true cachers now! A favourite point from us for sure. TFTC
Riding high on recent success we were full of confidence as we scaned GZ. Both GPS agreed on the location so it was a case of thinking it through. A quick search was fruitless but a closer inspection blew its cover. Gotch ! Two goodies in 10 minutes... Great !!
After the blistering record set at Phun at Phormium we had great expectations for this one. Arrived at GZ and quickly decided that we didn't need to go down the bank - thank goodness! GPS was definite about GZ and it was very obvious where the cache would be. Looked at the hint and spotted the likely place, which fitted it exactly. However, we could not access the cache in spite of strenuous efforts and use of tools. Looked around for another hiding place that fitted the hint but no luck! Either we have the wrong hiding place or something has happened to the cache. Next time in Dunedin perhaps - too many other caches to find today to spend any more time struggling with this one! Thanks anyway for a visit to an interesting area, Rodney and Iris.
NZ12. Out caching with Dazzatron today. This was another of the better caches I saw on this visit to NZ. Very Subtle and blending in very well. . Thanks.
