I've decided to archive this listing since it keeps getting muggled. The ammo can was stolen, which really ticked me off. So I am opening it up for some local cachers to use this spot.
I am so far on logging all of my caches that I have to run a macro to catch up. I do apologies but thank you very much for your efforts to put out caches.
May the Caches be with you noikmeister!

This was Find No 1999 for me after driving from Moruya this morning and completing some selected caches in the SST series. I managed to grab most but had a couple of DNFs which meant I could still go for this one and then head to Canberra for No 2000 later this afternoon. A nice cache in a really lovely spot. My dad used to bring us out here when I was a kid. I will have to bring hubby back to visit and for a swim. There was no LB in the cache so I have replaced it with a small notebook in a good snaplock bag. I then had lunch at a Bemboka cafe - a fabulous steak sandwich with views of the mountains. A great way to finsish this mornings cache run and prepare for this afternoon's 2000th Find. Thanks again
Haven't had a pie from Bemboka in a long time. So was great to have one while sitting next to the river before gettuing the cache.
Shame they let places like this go.
Still TFTC!

Found on the way home from Sapphire Coast. No muggles around today. Quickly found
No log I have put some paper in it

Having a small day exploring bemboka. A lovely little city and this was a great cache. TFTC
We love it when caching takes us to hidden gems we would otherwise never have known about. This is a lovely little spot on the river. All the poplars are bare at the moment but we can imagine they would be glorious in their golden autumn foliage.
Nice to find a good sized container, and with a spiffy logbook.

Found on way to the coast and after visiting the Bemboka Bakery. TFTC.
Cold windy and miserable here today, no sitting on chairs like others, but cake at bakery was good.
Quick dash and grab on a beautiful Saturday morning. Geohound disappeared in the long grass. Trouble with having very short legs!
First find for today

Nice quick find and a really good size cache. Donnazev quickly located but was put off by the slug that had made its home near the latch. Fortunately I was able to come to the rescue and we managed to sign the log and continue on our way.
Cache is in great condition. TFTC.

Last find for the day.
Quickly had cache in hand & was ready to open when I noticed the fattest slug near the catch. Simultaneously I screamed & dropped the cache which caused Genghicat to hurry over & be my knight in shining armour....once again lol
Would be a beautiful spot for swimming in summer. TFTC

A lovely peaceful spot. It was hard to stop Webguy driving into the waterhole. Glad that he stopped - it's VERY deep. (No ducks though!)
Happy to find an ammo can.
Thanks.

Holy crap, an ammo box, few and far between these days sadly. Such a nice spot to visit as well.
My 100th find! On holidays from Perth, visiting the in laws. They've lived in Bemboka for 12 years and never been to this spot - were very impressed! TFTC
Thanks to Jmanjezza for dropping off the new container. Now a 2L sistema inside an ammo can.
Passing by on our way to the coast. Dropped off a new watertight container with new log for Noikmeister
What a lovely spot. We had our pie lunch here. Will come for swim some other time.
Log book totally wet and going mouldy needs urgent replacement and more watertight container

1st stop on a run down the coast with Albida. A few locals hitting the water on a hot afternoon, however no problems grabbing the cache. Log book is a little damp...but still usable at this stage.
Thanks NM...cool little spot.

What an excellent spot! Clear water with a sandy bottom and a gentle current. The kids and I stopped here for what was meant to be a quick lunch spot and paddle. It turned in to a swim and a good chat with a local and throwing balls for her dog who loved to dive in to the water to get them. Fav point from me for showing me another hidden gem of rest stop. TFTC!!!
[green]Picked up on the way down the coast with [pink]Binni*[/pink] Bit soggy - needs a little housekeeping - cheers!
Beautiful swimming spot. Cache was a bit wet - sorry didn't have time to stop and dry it out.
The cache was full of water and a bit overgrown and hadn't been found for a while.
The waterhole looked very nice but obviously had not been used for a long time since the Bemboka pool was built.

There has been a LOT of rain down that way recently. Perhaps the next finder could spend a few minutes dying it out. I'll replace it with an ammo can in February.
Last day of the trip after an awesome extra-long-weekend away from Canberra to the Coast with Doppelfrog that included mountain, country and beachside exploring. Having spent the morning wandering beaches and scrambling over rocks it was time to head home. Didn't have time for the close-by multi but at least managed this one.
Out on a long-weekend-long caching adventure with BatgirlandCo.
Great little spot; been through Bemboka loads of times and never realised this was here. Looks a bit sad and neglected, but should still be lovely in the summer months.

Found together yesterday when we were heading for our B&B just up the road, for our second visit. And dang it there is a TE sticker on THIS one too!

After spending way too much time on Noikmeister puzzles, and failing, I really wanted to find a Noikmeister cache! As it turns out, driving to this one is way quicker than trying to solve any of those puzzles! Not only that, but you get a fantastic location at the end! Thanks for the easy cache Noikmeister!
Nice easy find on our return trip from the coast. Didn't hang about as there was a car down (park-up?) by the river hidden by the trees.
Found at 12:35pm. 3rd on a caching run to Canberra from Cobargo. Would love to go for a swim here. The water is so clear. Took TB SL TFTC
Nice easy find, a suprising area, I bet it is nice on a hot summers day here. Left TB, Thanks
Quite an easy find on our route from Cooma to Moruya. Thanks for the cache.

Great hint - didn't want to walk further than necessary in the long grass. This should be a lovely area - shame on the council. Enjoyed the cache - thanks.
WOW - what a wombat hole. I thought the council was building a culvert. Noticed it was found earlier in the day as well. Thanks.
TFTC. The area was very overgrown but was great to here the river running. Look out for what looks like a wombat burrow next to GZ.

I mistakenly logged that I'd found it when I meant to log a different Cache.
Tried to find today but it was hot and snaky weather so I didn't persevere in the long grass.
However, it does look like a lovely spot for a swim, so I will return.
I'll rectify my next trip that way.
Cheers

A detour on our way home from Eden to make a quick find, and thankfully it wasn't raining like it had been for most of the weekend. Thanks noikmeister.
On the way to Eden with 4 scouts who are doing the Light to Light hike in Ben Boyd National Park.
Nabbed this one whilst doing the Bemboka Bridge Bash.

6049 + 699 = 6748. Found while heading down the coast for NYE.
Couldn't resist this small detour to grab this cache. There were two other cars in the area but luckily the cache was well hidden from them. Nice quick find - Thanks noikmeister !

Found on the way home after Xmas at my brothers place at Pambula Beach. A family was down swimming in the river but out of sight of GZ. Pity so run down, otherwise would be a nice rest spot. Thanks.
Great spot and sad noone comes here any more. Dorm brewing adds to the occasion. Tftc
Break to eat my snacks from the Bemboka bakery. As summer warms keep an eye open for the wriggly reptiles. TFTC CoomaClan
Found with TaurusSix. It appears to have once been a focal point. The river is still picturesque.
Left a bear cub. Another pretty spot we would never have found but for geocaching
A quick stop on our way to Bega, we drove right up to this one which we weren't sure was the best idea in our geomobile, but we got in and out safely. No one was around today, which we think will be very different in summer. Today we spotted wombat holes and kept a lookout for snakes. Enzo made a quick retrieval of a very tidy cache full of awesome swaps. TNLNSL TFTC
Found on our trip to Merimbula. A nice easy find in a very lovely spot outside of Bemboka. Never knew this place was here! The toy cicada inside the cache gave us a bit of a fright! TNLN. TFTC noikmeister!
This place has seen better days... Had some kids that needed to use the facilities - stuck my head in there and told they'll have to hold it... Not very pleasant. The area is nice though...
This looks as though it use to be a very nice spot to have a swim however it looks a bit run down now. still it is very cute there down by the river, TFTC!
Thanks for bringing us to this great spot. We definitely will come back for camping one day.
Found it thanks, driven past here many times but hadn't realized you can get down to the water.
In a real turn up for the books found a TB that isn't registered in the cache - makes a change from all those times you get to a cache with a TB registered only to find its not there. Maybe someone hasn't logged their vist yet

Very nice wombat hole going on here! Quaint little area we would never have even possibly come across without this hide. With a little TLC this place could turn into something like Woods Reserve on the Cotter river. It was amusing to see the 100km/h speed zone sign just before the narrow bridge and tight corner, possibly a few Peter Brocks in the area! Thanks for the detour, we were metres from also completing the Bridge Bash but wussed out as we only had our thongs on! Next time...
How under utilised is this beautiful place? A great location for a cache. TFTC JenneG & Budgy
On a weekend not on oncall duties at work, I decided to get away completely. After a night in Nimitabel, I headed towards the coast, and this spot was my first stop. I had to wait for a guy and his dog to pack into a car and leave, but after that it was a quick find in a good traditional caching spot . Thanks.

What a pleasant area this must have been in the "old Days", a great place for a picnic and swim. No-one around today so it was an easy find. Found at 1105hrs - took Alvin and left a ladybug. TFTC noikmeister
After a nice lunch in the Pie Shop we searched for this cache, it is indeed a shame that this spot isn't well maintained. TFTC!
What a shame this is not maintained, would be a great spot for a picnic and a swim. TFTC
Had to get this one when I found out that it was my mates cache!
I reckon they found this place looking for a swimming spot for their doggies!
Thanks for bringing us here Noikmeister.

you know I was a shame there was no caches here and its great to have another excuse to detour of the main road which I for one have passed by many times over the years.
Drove slightly passed GZ but got a nice view of the river, it looks like this picnic site has seen better days, but good location non-the-less.
thanks for the explore, I'll be back next year to do the Multi!

#336 found at 0113 on a caching day that saw 34 finds 3 DNF and 6 waymarks added to the talley. This day began at cooma and ended at bega.
3/34 for a great day out and about. It is a shame the area has become so overgrown however this made the night search for this cache a little easier with the geotrail visible despite the lack of visitors to the area.
Thanks noikmeister for a great cache.
