We stopped by the cheese factory while on our tour of the area today. After sampling some of the cheesy comestibles Razz, I ducked out for a look for this one while the others checked out the museum. Thankfully, I had the very cleverly hidden stash in hand quite quickly at 15:10 and was soon back inside with the others, having been barely missed Wink.

Milkshake time Big Grin.

TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks dghoffy.

Sneaky microcache! Nice camo!

11-Feb-13
I think my wife and I came here about 10 years ago and had a look around here. I've got to say it has gone down hill since then. Back then I thought the museum was interesting and had good signage. Today I thought all the stuff was probably the same, but there seemed to be a distinct lack of explanatory signage. I couldn't find the BEGA done in bricks or the thing you took your photos with your head stuck through to look like a cow.

Oh the cache! That was found easily enough since I have had a hide almost exactly the same myself.

A quick find be geohusbabnd. A nice cache.

06-Feb-13
Continuing on to the 3rd day of our geo-caching holiday to Earth Cache 1 at Wasp Head has us heading from our overnight stay at Merimbula to Bateman's Bay.

TFTC

14-Jan-13
Stopped on our way to Bateman's bay, so that geohawk- mum could pick up some cheese for her and ice cream for me! Rain kept the juggles away so it was an easy find. TFTC!

08-Jan-13
I was delighted I found it so easily, on a day when no one should be out, the fire service has rated it catastrophic, as a New Zealander i have never felt anything like this heat.

05-Jan-13

22-Nov-12
Tried but failed

11-Nov-12
Quite a few visitors at the Cheese factory, but the Park was very quiet. The trees are all dressed in their new spring finery making a pleasant view to the river. SL at 1.15pm, replaced camo. Didn't need any cheese today, so we were soon on our way to Cooma. #1346 TFTC dghoffy - we have found quite a lot of your caches along the Sapphire Coast.

04-Nov-12
Nice find after a good bit of cheese. 1st for our holiday in this beautiful area.

02-Nov-12
TaurusSix and I sampled the cheese, looked at a bit of history and some art/craft. Then we looked for this cache. The spiders have been at work and I originally thought it was a spider's home, but the cache was there. I also recall finding a cache near here some years ago.

28-Oct-12
Good hide beautiful spot

26-Oct-12

A nice hide in an open area. Well done.

08-Jul-12
Now what is Bega famous for? We thought this was a quiz and Ladybug suggested "cows" was the correct answer! An easy find at 1640hrs as there were very few visitors around. We did not sample the wares this time however have done so on many previous trips. TNLNSL Thanks dghoffy
