We had a crack at this today and there is clearly an issue with the final after checking our workings with a previous finder.

A couple of Victorians caching in WA for the first time - great weather for walking and exploring close to where our lodgings are. The walk certainly showed us some interesting perspectives of the foreshore. A definite favourite today!
PS: Did wonder about the DR of 1.5 (Easy to find or solve within 10-15 minutes.) for this eight stage multi, along with the final location of the cache, which required access into a garden area.
Thanks WA K Team for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Did this nice little educational multi on a nice day but had issues finding the final. A quick message to the owner and a superb quick reply ensured I was indeed at the right spot. I dug deeper into the leaf litter and yep there it was. Tftc sl tnln. Fp from me.
Enjoyed a lovely stroll along the foreshore. It's looking a bit different with all the redevelopment. TFTC
Due to the construction of the new bridge the sign for WP2 has been removed. Have put in the value required here into the page text until a new sign is erected.
Enjoy

Not sure if this still here or we as newbies are not looking properly. On to the next
Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
Thanks to WA K Team for sorting out the clues so quickly. We really enjoyed this stroll through Mandurah & recommend this multi to everyone, just not on a 39 degree day. Ants are sharing the cache site, but they are not bothered if you aren't . TFTC
Way points corrected / updated to reflect changes.
Cache checked and is in good condition
All good to go

I thought it was about time I actually came and found this cache after doing the walk some time ago when it was first published and again when I found I didn't have all the required information recently.
Found without problems in the dark.
Thanks WA K Team for the cache.

In the area for work. Spent the early evening searching for caches in the area. This one ended after dark. An interesting walk on a lovely mild evening. The foreshore area was bustling with families picnicking and others enjoying the park and playground. I also stopped and enjoyed some fish and chips for dinner while doing this cache. A quick find once I got to GZ. WA K Team
Lovely morning to stroll along the foreshore looking at trees and drinking coffee checkpoint b sign has the required information stripped from it but was able to find the number for it using the checkers at the end... Also checkpoint c sign may have relocated as it was about 30 meters from the gps point but all found thanks for the series that inspired this beautiful walk this morning
A nice multi cache. It is a shame the sign at be is half torn off but we still worked it out in the end. Tftc
Thanks... Just as well young muggles are too busy looking at their iPhones to notice me hunting in the bushes!
Sign for WP1 is missing so have provided the answer for A in the description. I will removed this again when the council replace the sign.
Have also provided some check sums and a geochecker for people to check their answers as there are lots of numbers involved.
Added hint for final location to minimise time in the highly visible area.
Checked the cache and it is still there also.
All good to go.
Enjoy

I got all the clues except for a because the sign was not there. I really need the amount of letters of the sub species.italia. Thanks for the nice stroll.
Found about a year after we gathered the info, lost it, found it again & then asked for help!! This was a very nosttagic cache for us. During the 60's & early 70's we came to Mandurah each year to stay with my parents in Cox Street. We taught vacation swimming each year for 4 week just in front of the big fig tree at the Merchant Tea House. As we walked the foreshore it brought back many happy memories. The Council is to be congratulated on their efforts to keep the past before the next generations. Thank you, WA K Team.
Jasenjanine, Tyler & myself completed most of this series a little while ago. Very enjoyable to complete this one today. We did Mistralunas' art multi at the same time. Jasenjanine found this one, while trying not to be noticed by the man mowing the lawn. Then off to the Dome for a coffee to celebrate. SL TFTC and the very informative series, great to learn more about the beautiful town Mandurah. Added to my favourites...

I started out doing this one a few weeks ago with Luna Maya & Master 1, gathering clues for this cache and also Mistraluna's Artwalk multi... Most of the clues were gathered then but our bellies were getting hungry so we called it quits for some lunch at Nino's before heading towards home for our motherly duties
Today we were back in the area to finally finish of the series... The final clues were found and we sat and did some calculations. It just had to be right where the mower man was! He stopped his work for us to go by, but we persisted and eventually he went back to his work. We then managed to find the cache right under his nose
TFTC WA K Team and for showing us these historic trees... We enjoyed gathering the clues and have chose to reward our hard work with a coffee

Fortunately I had emailed off to cache owner to check my coords before I searched for the final. I was off a few numbers. Today finally back in Mandurah to complete this excellent series.
That was a lovely hunt, really enjoyed it TFTC!! Enjoying an ice cream at Simmos to reward our efforts!!

The council have removed the sign giving the clue at the first waypoint.
Will scout around for another likely spot.

Completed the walk and clues on Friday the 13th and alas no cache at the end. It was getting late and we needed to get back to Preston Beach so decided to give it up for the day!
After RE REading the clues we realised we should REad more carefully so that we understand the difference between REmain and REmove. A quick RE calculation and we were able to go straight to GZ on the way home today.
This was one we were keen to complete after meeting WA K Team at the flash mob event. Thank you for a great multi cache, a favourite point from us!!

After 2 dnf by other caches I still decided to tackle this and the artwalk cache today.
Going back to front I started my journey, and a nice walk it was too.
After quite a search I eventually found the cache.
Thanks

Where not lucky enough to have found it. Loved the walk. A shame may have to have another go when it is not raining.
Final dnf of the day (4 in all). nice walk and interesting facts about the trees. Unsure about my answer for B, but tried a couple of possibilities and searched two place a few 10s of metres aprt, but no luck. getting too late and too tired to go through it all again, so gave up and went for Fish and Chips.
A good day to tackle this cache, but there were still a surprisingly large number of cars around GZ. Thanks for the cache and the tour!
At last it is off the DNF list.
Thanks for allowing me to watch & learn blinng.

Our GPS had us looking in the wrong spot for quite a while. Just as we were walking back to the car discussing the DNF, I said "This looks like a much better place to hide a cache if you ask me" and I put my hand right on top of it. TFTH.
Despite stuffing up WP2 I still managed to get into the correct GZ area yesterday, but just didn't look hard enough. Today it was a nice quick find, probably because I had more faith that the coords were accurate. Thanks for a most interesting and informative tour around the foreshore WA K Team.
Had a most enjoyable afternoon strolling the Foreshore and checking out this and some of the waypoints for the other nearby multi. Had an issue with WP2 but thought the rest were pretty straight forward, and ended up with a likely GZ but couldn't find the necessary container. Have contacted CO to see if my calculations are correct as I don't trust myself when it comes to anything more than 1+1.
We were having lunch nearby so decided to do the stroll and gather the info for this multi. Luckily we weren't on the foreshore yesterday because with the Crab Fest on it would have been very dificult accessing some of the plaques. Today we had to navigate around contractors dismantling all the tents but managed to get all the numbers - must admit we did wonder if we got w/p 2 correct but in the end we found the cache right where our gps led us. A very enjoyable multi WA K Team - thanks for the effort in putting it together.
Gave this one quite a bit of attention and thought I would have got it this morning.I keep going to the same spot, but end up covered in ants[?].
I loved the walk and all the lovely trees.TFTH.

I have been to the foreshore here on many occasions, but I had never really noticed the the signs that this cache highlighted. I was a pleasant stroll, I did not have a print out of the description, but luckily the DaKota had all the information required to work out the clues and get the information.
A quick find at the end, thanks WA K Team for this most enjoyable cache in a very enjoyable series. Signed the log.

Called in after doing some new caches to the south and collected all the bits required but I obviously got some of it wrong due to being tired and having a bit of the listing missing some words so will come back another day. I took so long doing this one I had to leave the nearby new cache as well and head home.
This morning I had to go and collect geoson from Nanna and Pop's so I thought I would get a bit of caching in before then. When I woke up I saw that there was a new cache in Mandurah so I reloaded the GPSr and set off from home about 0800.
After stopping to get something to eat along the way, I started this relatively easy multi somewhere around 0830. Every waypoint was easily located and information collected. Some of the waypoints and info required gave me a chuckle, and I learnt a bit of history along the way.
On arrival at the final waypoint, I utilised the nearby bench to complete my calculations. I initially thought I had them wrong when I saw where I had to go, so I recehecked them. Sure enough they were right first time around, so I set off once more in search.
The final ground zero was quickly identified and the search showed the cache in a nice little niche. I was extrememly happy to be the second team to find this cache at 0900, a whole hour after the first group came through.
Thankyou for yet another enjoyable and interesting cache WA K Team, very much appreciated
Cheers

Yay, found it!! Had been planning a cache for spot very close to this GZ, so will have to rethink that one. But happy to be the First to Find on this one. Thanks for the early morning walk amongst "the trees".
