Ive been staying nearby in Glenbrook; there was a conference last week and therell be a conference next week and five of us women are staying here for the weekend. This morning we got up to find glorious sunshine to accompany our plans for a bush walk. This was the first of six geocaches in our two-hour walk. We also saw beautiful landscapes and wonderful views. It was lovely to hear the wind song and bird song. Now that weve got our steps up for the day we can go off to high tea in KatoombaThanks for the cache, whitemushroom, wackydo and eaviate
After a long-overdue success at another nearby cache - where the last find was nearly six years ago, lets come over here for a quick find. How long ago was the last find? Ah today - by an interstate geocacher. Thanks to all COs - whitemushroom, wackydo and eaviate. Let hope to see The Descent in play for many years to come.
Found It!
Another quick find here before descending down the descent!

Out with Brewmaker today finding some caches around Glenbrook and Lapstone. Parked the car and then it was a nice walk towards this cache, once we found the correct track. Read the hint, which helped, and Brewmaker soon found the cache hiding there. Signed the log, replaced it all as found, then back along the track to the car.

Found it. Nice hide. Had a little play with the frisbee... it didn’t go far.
A visit to this cache to drop some TBs after finishing the Tunnels Adventure Lab. This cache is in good condition, hidden as intended and with many pages still to be filled in the log.
Glad I'm not the only one who would walk their bike down this hill!

That certainly is a steep descent! Excellent coordinates made for a quick find. Tftc!
During a quick walk to the tunnel entrance, we found this cache easily.
We saw 3 guys doing this rocky descent with theirs bikes. Well done guys.

All good here as I was on my lengthy walk around Glenbrook. Seems like a few muggles have signed this too. I've made sure the camo completely covers it now. Lovely pocket of bushland.
Today we started a cache tour around Glenbrook and visited many caches.

Geowife dropped me off at the end of Emu Road and I walked the Tramway Route to pick up a few caches while she got some retail therapy at Penrith Plaza. A most enjoyable walk.

Managed to spot the hide from a distance, so waltzed over and grabbed this fine-sized cache. TFTC.

On our last day in the Blue Mountains we snuck out to do a sneaky cacge as we wanted to drop off a few TBs. Unfortunately our "sneaky cache" had been much too small. When I saw that this one was "regular" sized I was keen. When I saw the previous log, I was sold! So off we went. We parked nearby and took a path that went in the complete opposite direction, but switched back so all was good. Then a mad scramble with geotoddler and we were at the top and at GZ. Plenty of room for our swaps. One of these TBs is a boomerang we "threw" on Kangaroo Island intending for it to slowly make its way back to Melbourne. It was back after two weeks after one hop! Let's see if it can beat this record! Thanks for placing this cache. I'm thinking that our next visit will include the whole series.
A decent sized cache - popped in a large trackable (lady bug) as we weren't sure when we would find another large enough spot! TFTC
**side note - there were no other trackables in the cache - we dropped in the KJ South Africa one

As SSSonya said, a nice big cache for trackables and a great bushwalking day. TFTC

OCW frazeydaze around Glenbrook. We rambled through the bush, walked along the Construction Tramway and through Dark's Common and finished up at a cache for shorties. All caches were in excellent condition and found in reasonably quick time. TFTC.
