There have quite a few DNF's here now. CO needs to investigate. We also searched around GZ with no luck. Hopefully approval was gained from the owner and it has't beed removed by them.
Love the name of this cache. Team Robbins I love your this should be an easy find too! As usual for us, we made it harder than it was intended to be.
thanks Team Robbins

WillPunkey, Scoob and I went for a day trip to Stanthorpe to see the Apple and Grape festival and find a few caches along the way.
Mrs Esky, along with a muggle friend, travelled Stanthorpe way on a numbers run in preparation for the next milestone. However, on leaving home the weather didn't look too promising...only clearing around Applethorpe. Priorities in order...our first stop at Stanthorpe was the bakery for morning tea & a coffee to warm up...temp was 14 deg!
Down to the business of caching we worked our way around Stanthorpe before slowly caching our way north (and homewards) accumulating a record number of caches in the day for the Eskies with a total of 57...and only one brief shower along the way. Thanks to all the COs for a fantastic day.
Note: I have just realised that I signed EVERY single log for the 2nd instead of the 3rd.

A drive-by! We put our hand out of the car window and soon had it.
We have loved trying many of the local cheeses made in this area.
Thanks Team Robins,

I set out bright and early this morning for a day of caching, but not before I'd kidnapped a geo-guru on my way through Toowoomba, to be my chauffeur, and to find a few he had yet to get further south. It was a big day and a good day. Found this sneaky one and signed the log, thanks for the cache!
6475 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1015. Pulled to the side of the roadway and walked to gz. Found the container but was unable to get it out. The Mrs says use your eyes. Oops now wasn't that easy. SL Tnx Team Robbins
Heading north to the Sunshine Coast and grabbed a few caches along the way to break the trip up and this was one of them.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

This is the second time I've tried to find this one and success at last, with a little help from a fellow cacher. Retrieved, signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Check all the obvious places within 5m of the gz.....spent over 30mins looking....must be missing something....any hints?
After our caching adventure we appeared at this intersection. Hmm, pretty sure there's a cache here (that as usual i know the location, but haven't gotten around to finding it). Friends were nice enough to stop so we could just out and grab "just one more" on our way back to town. Thanks Team Robins, all good here.
Back in Stanthorpe for a few days to clean up after Mega, where we spent most of the time on the Apples.
We almost turned this one into a DNF - don't know why we didn't look at the obvious straight away.
Found at 11:15am on 6th December, 2015.

like wines, produce ... oh and a few caches too
today was the reluctant partner's day
and we grabbed this one after lunch at Cheesy Grin
on the way to another winery

I have wanted to take a crack at a power trail for a while. My crazy companions today, SwellerFungus and SeffnJarah were really only lukewarm on the idea. But then a knee operation sidelined Fungus and he hit upon the idea of a power trail road trip, where he did the driving and Seff and I did all the hard work finding the caches .....as always.
An early start on a brisk Stanthorpe morning had the first cache in hand in the dark at 04:23. With a couple of hours break for lunch and 11 hours on the trail, I finished up before dark with 277 finds and 3 DNF's.
It is now 12 hours and 260 odd caches since our first find. We have left the power trail behind, but still need a few caches to attain a badgegen target. So we continue....
Thanks to Team Robins for placing and maintaining this cache.

A target of 200 finds for the day meant an early start so we were up at 3:30am. Crookedpete, Seffnjarah and I got to our first cache by 4:25 on the A.S trail. We finished the day after 11 hours of caching covering lots of different CO’s, with some interesting Stats:
270 finds including all of the A.S. Trail
3 DNF’s (Due to grading of the roadside that has taken a few trees away)
2 finds with three DNF’s on them before us (they are always nice to get!)
1 Challenge puzzle completed.
My 2000th find somewhere along the way (but I don’t actually know which one)
And my favourite stat: 39 finds in 60 minutes – boy did we hoof it! Fun, Fun Fun!
Now for the caveat, as I know my partners in crime will no doubt mention in their logs, I did not manage to get to look for every cache! Well actually very few……ok….I only actually found 2 myself. You see I was the designated driver for the day. After some knee surgery 4 weeks ago, and only starting weight bearing again 2 days prior, the plan was hatched that I would happily drive for the day if my friends would add my name to the caches as we found them. They tell me that they did actually put my name in the log, but I am dubious.
I swear I will never attempt another power trail, as they are simply not my thing….but I am glad I have done it once so my thanks to the CO’s for their efforts. That must be a lot of work to maintain!
Thanks also to my partners in crime – sterling effort!

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day twelve is the last day we spent in the Stanthorpe region. First was the fruit run then finishing off the A.S. series. The rest of the day was spent collecting the left over caches that in fact took us to some of the more amazing places on this trip. Thanks.

Got it this time in better weather.
Visiting QLD from Central Coast NSW, and attending the Stanthorpe MEGA EVENT for about a week. Camping at the showground, caching days done mainly with SpikeyMikey, meeting up with members of CCG, HAVOC, and others from all over Australia.
Many thanks to all responsible for a smooth operating event, my first Mega, and first visit to Stanthorpe. Plenty of reasons for a near future visit
Whilest it did rain and drizzle almost every day, I much preferred this over hot days, which is what I encounted on the Gold Coast return journey, as well as a repeated bout of coughing with the flu on the long drive home.
Great Puzzles, Power Trails, landscapes, History, Apples!, and company. Politeness and respect by all
Many Personal records smashed this weekend First MEGA, Finds per day, Altitude, etc

Out caching up a storm as with Alpenmilch80, signing the log as ACDC (Alpenmilch80, Cats&Dragons Caching Tour). What a great way to be spending a rainy day than caching with friends and seeing the countryside area here

Thank you to all the cache owners that put these together for us to enjoy while at the OZ MEGA 2015, as NZer's we certainly did appreciate them.

Sad at our lack of skill. Worked out that it was not a nano, but still couldn't find it!
Found with Gonefishen07 and Lazzal on another fun day caching in Stanthorpe. The weather wasn't to kind to us today but we are made of tough stuff so a caching we will go. We made a quick find and signed as GLZ TFTC We added another piece of paper here.
Found on a rather rainy day with Phetlern while at the MEGA. Despite the rain we visited several of the local establishements as well as managing to find a few caches.
Had a great day out caching with Zobo04 and Lazzal. The weather was a little dodgy today but we still managed to get out and find a few caches in some interesting areas. Thanks to all the CO's for the hard work in placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy. TFTCTeam Robins
Day 3 of my Queensland Mega Adventure. After a most productive morning of caching in not so sunny downtown Stanthorpe, we then headed further afield and found ourselves out this way. This was our forty sixth cache for the day. Thanks for the smiley Team Robins

Weather or not! We thought it was a good idea to list caching with Alansee, on the agenda for today. Finding caches was interspersed at regular intervals with stops for strawberries, cheese, wine and cider; which proved to be a great way to dodge a few heavy showers of rain as well as satisfy our hunger for caches.
Everyone was grinning here!
Our thanks to Team Robins for bringing us here.

Yep, we're in town for the mega event too!! We haven't explored the Stanthorpe area since we became cachers, so today we explored Donelly's castle! On the way back to camp we stopped for this one - stopped a little longer than expected but we found it!!!
Thanks for placing a cache here for us to enjoy and for convincing us that Stanthorpe is definitely a place we need to come back to so we can explore some more - thankfully we live less than 2hrs away!! [^]

Found on Day 2 of the Stanthorpe Mega event trip. I started at Fruit Run No 1 and headed north along Granite Belt Drive collecting smilies as I went, before hitting Dalveen and then heading south along the New England Highway, finishing at Noah's Ark Letterbox.
Today I found myself solo, tackling the fruit run series and nearby caches. The weather was not the greatest, but held off enough to not cause too many problems. I managed to bump into a few other adventurous cachers along the way.
Thanks Team Robins for the cache.

Found at 5:32 PM GAFF1 in the company of Juddda.
As we approached we played a game as to where the cache was going to be - we were both wrong So that eliminated 2 obvious spots but there were still a few possibilities considering that we thought that the cache was a nano
I the spotted a really good possibility and - yep! A nicely hidden cache [^]
Well that's it for today's caching - 69 finds and one Needs Maintenance in 7.5 hours

Wednesday saw us starts on the AS series, then we stopped for lunch at the Heritage Winery at Thulimbah. Afterwards we just cached randomly, finishing up back at Stanthorpe on some solved puzzles. Whoops, there's one at the supermarket after we had thought we'd finished.
