###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that regular visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 22nd July,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 22nd July). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, it is likely that I will need to Archive it on the basis that it has been abandoned. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the instructions posted above.

Found after a lovely walk in the amazing redwoods. Come across lots of these in NZ. As mentioned in previous logs, log sheet too wet to sign
Checked on this cache seeing how we were in the area with our scout group. The cache is very very wet.
Found this one on our way home from Apollo Bay. What a great place to stop for a break. Awesome forest and river. Cache was found easily but as mentioned before the log is mush. Tried our best to add our name but just left a smudge.
Love the surprising enchantment of the area, good spot for a cache!

Nice little set up here of a now familiar cache hide.
1st of 3 good caches in this area.
A damp log but we got our names onto it.
Cheers

Heading in for the older cache in the area, we pulled over to make a find here. Feathertop soon made the find, but the log was wet. We managed to write our names on, but it does need replacing. Lovely views here today. TFTC the fab burkah boyz
Great area for the cache. Log book was thoroughly soaked. Dried it out and managed to sign off this cache.
Out and about with the kids today so we headed for this one after visiting Hopetoun Falls. A nice cache - we enjoy these ones! Logbook however is soaked through so needs replacing. Many thanks for the cache.
Out for a day of 4WD caching fun with Geoturtle37 and dazzpete. Finding the cache was simple enough, but someone had obviously not had the knowledge or perhaps the necessary TOTT to reach the log and had buggered the cache. After extracting the log we returned the cache to what we believe was its intended condition before taking a stroll through the magnificent redwood grove. What an amazing place. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
A quick find of the hide but it took us a while to extract the cache despite having seen this sort of hide before. It was only after we realised that a previous finder has not played fair and the hide was not as it was intended that we were able to retrieve the cache. We placed the hide back as we thought it was intended.

Today the Sims_family man aim for the day was to explore the Californian Redwoods as we had heard so much about them.
Dad was a bit of a goose here as he didn't manage to open the cache in his app or save it offline and there was no service nor would you expect any here. Luckily Mum had the app open before service coverage ceased. That meant we ad least had the coords and dad had read the cache note on the computer earlier. Once at GZ the cache camo was found lying on the ground. Luck the cache was still inside and easily retrieved. We clipped the camo into it rightful spot as best we could.
Thank you burkah boys for the cache

Found this little cache. Unfortunately the log was a bit wet and l was short on time to dry it out. Pity the cache holder has been forcibly removed from its original harness as it would have been fun to get to it the traditional way.
TFTC and for bringing us to this location. Very beautiful part of the world with some interesting graffiti on the bridge if you take a stroll down under.

Staying in Gellibrand for Easter weekend. Only found this magnificent spot due to us spotting ur cache on the map while in the area.
The kids had soooo much fun working this one out!! Very tricky to go stealth on this very high muggle weekend. But I think we managed to pull it off.
HAPPY EASTER!!!

This was the second find for the day whilst doing touristy stuff around Beech Forest. Such a nice spot here, the serenity under the trees is fantastic!
Had some issues getting the container for this one as it kept getting stuck halfway. Got there eventually but it took several attempts. TFTC!

After 20 years of marriage we decided to take a break in our busy schedule and go to Apollo Bay for the weekend. This was a busy spot to stop but cache was found easily. The log is saturated but we were still able to sign.

Love the area and love the cache construction. Had the required liquid tool on hand. Thanks the fab burkah boyz.
Found with Mr And Mrs Oyseka. Beautiful spot, easy find, log drenched so replaced with a new one. TFTC

Janet and I are on our way to the Anglesea Mega and spent the morning sightseeing in the Otways. This was a "cache of opportunity" when we stopped to see the Redwoods. With no phone signal we had to jetski it. Found in the second place we looked. Logbook is saturated. Managed to scratch our name.

Just about finished our holiday at Apollo Bay and this was a late opportunity in one of my favourite spots in the Otways. I liked the 3 dimensional element and of course we fiddled around in the correct gps position but the wrong height. After we revised our height choice we soon had the cache in sight and figured out how to get the log. An elegant design. Thanks.
I've been meaning to head out here for many years, and finally got to the area today.
After some rain over the past few days the area was quite wet and muddy, but some extra water can always come in handy .
Certainly some impressive redwoods around here.
Thanks, fab burkah boz.

Day 9 of our geoholiday in Victoria now we are slowly making our way back to Adelaide grabbing caches along the way, a nice quick find here today. TFTC
#215. We had no reception for this one, nor had we saved this cache, so we had to find this one based on the title and gps only! After wandering here and the watching where our blue dot moved in relation to the green pin, we eventually found gz. Then doamono found something that looked suspicious and sure enough we had the cache in hand! A lovely little spot for a break too. Tftc!
I had not been to this spot before and although this cache was what first attracted me, I am really glad I came. It is a great spot. It was a great day to be out travelling. Thanks for placing this cache.
Love these redwoods. Also added attraction a music video in the making. Will check it out on YouTube. TFTC
Found when the visiting Muggle family were visiting from Melbourne and wanted to see the Red Woods. Had to call for their assistance with this one and the kids thought it was pretty cool. TFTC.
On a caching drive with Thetaz. Having traveled the Old Beechy trail to Gellibrand, we were returning to Apollo Bay via a short cut, according to Thetaz, and had to stop to admire the grove of sequoia redwoods and to check out this cache. We recognized the MO from a couple of earlier caches we have had success with. Many fingers make light work and the container was quickly in hand and logged at 16:45. A fav point from us. TFTC
The trees are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk in the quietness. Great container! TFTC
What a cracker of a spot! After finding the cache reasonably swiftly, I walked into the forest! Just spectacular! I laid on the ground just looking up and admiring the canopy. TFTC!!!!
Took a flong time to find. GPS a bit scattered.
About to give up, but 1st retrieved the torch from car and then easily spotted.
Nice location, thanks for bringing us here.

Found It......Found this little guy while out doing some cache maintenance on one of ours. On arrival at the parking spot we where greeted with no less than 5 cars so we parked the closest to GZ as we could as to give some much needed cover and in a break of muggles mr h_3 made a dash for GZ and reterived the cache and retreated to the car to sign it only to discover it to be completely saturated and no longer able to be written in so we dried the container out and placed another log sheet in it. Thanks the fab burkah boyz for placing a cache in this area
Found it! Day 4 of the Otways adventure, fading light but have to see these Redwoods after staring up at Mountain Ash and monster Blackwoods all day. Awe inspiring that 2 of the world largest trees from different sides of the world can grow together in these forests.
Cache took a bit of finding as our 2 devices had us on the creek bank. We knew what we were looking for as we have come across this type of mechanism before and when we finally stopped to have a re-think of our search we were standing next to it. However, that which has drank too much will not readily rise to greet one and a revised extraction strategy was needed to get the carrier of the log out!
Unfortunately, the container has a drinking problem and we were unable to sign what was once the log as it is fast becoming pulp. As consolation we have sent the CO a photo to prove we found it and logged a maintenance for the repairs needed....TFTC

While spending our annual weekend away with &others we decided to go for a drive on this overcast day. &others have spent many camping weekends in this area so its was like coming back for them. Love the location. This only the second group of Canadian Redwoods that we have come across, the other being Warburton. We parked the car and checked out a couple of places and all decided we had found the spot. It looked only half there. We have seen quite a few of these now and know what to do. Doing the ......... and using the........ nothing appear. It needs to be looked at. Took a walk through the woods and came across some serious photographers. Got talking to them and had our photos taken. We could become famous. Hope to attached them soon.

Unfortunately the container was dismantled, and the log super soaked, but i tried to put it back together. These little ones are fun but need to be more indestructible. Love the redwoods!
A nice tricky cache. Unfortunately though we didn't spot it and due to an injury we didn't explore as thoroughly as we usually do.
Travelling from Melbourne to Mt Gambier for a meeting tomorrow morning and the planned journey is taking me through Lorne, Beech Forest, Port Campbell, Warrnambool, Portland and on to the Mount. Took me 14 hours including caches, worn out but happy.
The mechanism has been somewhat dismantled such that the clue is not required. Nice location. Log is damp.
Thanks for placing this cache the fab burkah boyz

The GPS had up traipsing up and down the river until we finally read the clues and ended up back where we started. Should have been a quick find but we enjoyed our time out of the car anyway. TFTC
This one had my geoson bamboozled, however geodaughter knew exactly what this one involved. This one did not require a drink today and may need some maintenance. SL.
Found on a beautiful sunny Friday out caching with Chris (Tritonz).
Great spot for a cache at the old bridge here.

Find # 4047 @ 3:26 PM. Away camping for the labour day long weekend, easy find while driving around the area. TNLN, Left my mark in the log, Thanx for placing this cache....
Frog 2 worked out how to retrieve it to about 90%. Then had to take matters into his own hands. Have never seen this kind of cache before, so was great to have a new challenge. Tftc
Thanks to mandikaye for temporary fixing this cache. We have replaced the cache and shortened the holder. The only item required to retrieve the cache is a bottle filled with water and some lateral thinking. The holder does not need to be moved or removed from its location. The trick is to make it float. Have fun. This is a great location.
What great cache! Go and check it out. Sadly Trixxy and me didn't retrieve it the proper way (unintentionally) however still very cool. TFTC
Quickly found by eyes no. 2. Thread on container is a bit dodgy.
Wonderful magical glade. Would not have come here if not for cache. Thanks.

Very clever hide. The log was quite wet so we placed a new one in the cache. Thanke you for hide.
Fun find though I think others had done what I did when it didn't come out and tried to loosen it with a stick only to break off. Pulled it apart and got my part of the stick out. Banged it a few times and a bit of crud and the hide landed on the ground. Sadly the log in the container was not retrievable as the paper was just shredding as I tried to get it out as it was so wet. I would guess someone put it in upside down previously. Fun hide and thanks for the cache.
All back together working again even if the log is too wet to use.

After a good look we gave up! The rangers arrived and hadn't heard of geocaching so we filled them in, they seemed really interested! Redwoods really incredible, thanks a lot for the location

Cache container was badly cracked and came apart when we opened it ;(
Have left a (little) alternate container in the same location so this cache can still be visited... This area is nor to be missed!

Requiring a cache on the 5th April for my 366 day caching calendar suscoe and I decided to head down to this area hoping to place a few smileys on the map.
We were hoping for twenty finds and this was achieved with no DNF's which was terrific.
Our list today included thirteen caches placed by krankitkiwi so a special thanks for placing so many and in varied locations and types of hides.
After parking we wandered past this guy I guess because of the tree cover but once at GZ we knew exactly what was required as we have now seen a number of this type of hide.
A little different but same principal, thanks to the fab burkah boyz for placing this cache.

Loved this hide and we gave it a fav as it was very clever. Even with muggles out every where, gz was still discreet enough to get the cache in hand. Great to have the paw of an extra bunny to help out. TFTC
This area was really popular today - there must have been around 12 cars parked in the area! Fortunately the GPS was pointing us away from the busy area and we soon spotted something a little out of the ordinary. It took a while for the penny to drop but we realised we had the tools required and soon had the cache with no-one the wiser. A great spot to share and a clever cache - gets a fav from us.
Had a pretty good idea what to expect, and proved to be what we have seen several times. Log quickly signed. We then had lunch here at the nice spot. thanks for the cache.
We camped near by so this was a lovely early stop on our way back to the Great Ocean Road. The Californian Redwoods were magnificent, as was the rainforest next to the river. The cache was fun too. Thanks.
Very clever camuflage. Thing are not always what they seem! Found it on second attempt. Beautiful spot and great challenge for 200th cache.
