I enjoyed the walk in to this cache - it is a nice little area which I'm sure will be soon surrounded by houses. It is nice to see that these little slices of green are being created and left for the future neighbours to enjoy. I was, however, perplexed by the sight of a dog kennel floating in the middle of the lake. The local geese seemed to have made a home out of it though, so I guess it's all for a good cause.
The cache was quickly found at GZ, however I am sorry to report that there is a hole in the lid of the cache. I didn't have my cache maintenance kit in the car, so I wasn't able to replace it.
TFTC dunga!

Took about ten minutes to find and wasnt where i was expecting. Also there is a small but sizeable hole in the plastic container, other than that good cache
Very nearly did not come into park as the gates and signs request, but then saw a cyclist on same side of lake as GPSr pointed , so ventured in on tippy toes, located the hide and sat on nearby rock to do the caching signing, replaced where found without any interest from cyclist, who was rock hopping further along path Thanks dunga for the cache which has a broken lid, but still dry inside

A Cup Day trip to Macedon and Romsey for a couple of earthcaches. On our way home now, still a few more finds near Sunbury and surrounds. Thanks for the cache dung.

Beautiful location for a walk. Drove round to end of bundanoon ave for easy access to the area without needing to go through fenced off area. Cache wasn't very well hidden so an easy find. Covered it up when leaving. TFTC
**Find #1178**
A nice easy find in a quiet location. The cache container was upside down. I replaced it right side up, It should help keep things dry. Nice place to visit.
Thanks **dunga**

With a cache hidden it a place like this, it's like visiting family . We parked as close as we could but wondered if we were allowed past the gate. We saw a man walking his dog in there so decided it was ok. Besides they would block off the pedestrian access if we were not allowed in.
We enjoyed the short walk watching the ducks and geese waddling away to the safety of the water. As we rounded the pond we were guessing where GZ would be but then the egg spotted a telltale sign of a hide. Found!
THE REPETITIVE BIT
We had planned a weekend in Sydney but the forecast was for rain. With Melbourne looking clear we changed our minds at 8.30pm Friday and came over on the 6.10am flight Saturday. Our aim was to fill in a few ‘placed months’. We picked up our first one in the suburbs then worked our way down to Sorrento, across to Queenscliff on the ferry and up to Sanctuary Lakes for the night. Sunday saw us start off at Point Cook before heading west almost to Ballarat, then across to Gisborne and back to the airport for our Sunday night flight home. 600km and 36 hours later we had achieved our goal, adding 13 placed months to our stats.
Thanks dunga for the enjoyable stop and cache.

Not at all hidden, no log book and waterlogged. Found it, but so would every muggle walking past.
Nice walk to this cache No log book, so unable to sign. Looks like water has gotten in to container
We found it! BUT.... We found the container and some of the contents in water. We put it back in the location where we found the lid. The container and the swaps might need replacing as the container is gunky. Sorry to break bad news
A little bit of spare time this morning before I had an appointment meant that a quick trip into Sunbury to look for some more of the plentiful caches here.
Interesting little area in here with some huge houses. The lake makes for quite a nice little walking path and I had the whole area to myself today while I wandered around and then focused on the cache. After a short search I spotted the cache and was adding my name to the log. Thanks for the cache dunga.

Had to wait for some muggles to catch their dog that was leading them on a merry chase. Once they were gone it was an easy find. TFTC

Part of my Father's Day present from my family was time to do whatever I please while they caught up with the in-laws... so I spent a few hours caching in and around Sunbury.
After a nice walk around the back of the old Asylum, I still had a bit of daylight left, so made my way through Goonawarra to try my luck on the hides placed since my last visit. Come sunset, I was back on the road, headed for a side of Clarkefield I'd never seen for a recent addition, then popped out again past the airfield, headed back towards town. A find on the way down the hill, and here I was.
I'd stopped to attempt this hide a couple of years back, approaching from the alternative entry point (accompanied by quite a gaggle of honkers) but had the misfortune to choose an afternoon when the landscapers were busy right by GZ, so had turned back without even calling it a DNF. Tonight, I parked near the signed entrance and took a nice stroll to GZ, found my quarry neatly tucked away, claimed the smiley and continued around the lake.
A lovely walk in the moonlight to finish today's adventures. Thanks, dunga.

It was our first time, had to fight off a bunch of wild geese but it was worth it
Went to try and find it. We got very close before the geese started flying towards us and we ran for our lives.
Nice hide. Tricky to reach but managed. There are two travel bugs logged here but they are missing?!!
Nice easy find. Great description. Saw the gaggle of geese but went for the two logged travel bugs and they were not there!! Frustrating!!
Left a travel bug from the states. Hope whoever finds it passes it on.

The last cache of the day and a nice walk up to this one from the adjacent street. A bit of a tricky find, not sure whether there were any snakes in the rovcks, but we finally spotted the cache and with no slithery things, we went in for the find.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks dunga for this cache location and our experience here today.

Walked around with Shadow the geodog. Spotted the geese on the other side of the lake but kept our distance. Cache was an easy find at 3:30pm.

TFTC My 10th find. Great hiding spot, the No Trespassing signs threw me off at first haha.
Thanks it was a tuff and awesome hiding spot ! Excellent swaps and views. Macca clan !
With a few hours to kill between finishing nightshift in Footscray and picking up my lady friend from the airport, I decided to hit Sunbury and surrounds with all the great new caches placed there since my last visit.
This had me scratching my head as to if I was intruding. Such a strange sign at the entrance.
Enjoyed the walk in nevertheless, and made a quick find of this very well tucked away cache in a beaut location.
Thanks dunga

Did not find due to presence of a snake. Be careful. Found sistema container lid, hoping it hasn't been tampered with.
