Unfortunately it is no longer here. When went under to see if had fallen down. Maybe time to check on and replace or take off line with all these dnf's.
Went to try and find this one tonight and didn't have any luck, but it was dark so might need to try again during the day.
Another DNF for the day.
Looked for quite a while in the obvious places, but alas to no avail.

As noted in previous logs, logbook is saturated. We replaced with a dry piece of paper and a new plastic bag but I fear it will go the same way as the container is not weatherproof. Contact us if you want the old logbook. Cheer and TFTC
Found it but unfortunately couldn't sign it!!! Log is dripping wet - needs replacing

Found readily enough at 15:55 but we were unable to sign the log which is saturated (dripping). The "waterproof" wrap is not. We will return when the log is drier or replaced. TFTC

Upon reaching gz tonight I realised I have found this one previously yet forgotten to log it. Log book still too wet to sign. Tftc
Found 10.20am
Took a bit of searching to find this one with lots of muggles passing by, just managed to sign the tape holding the mushy remains of the log book.

Thanks homerjay73

AJ and I wanted to go find some caches and this area was the spot with a nice dense patch of caches I had not found.
We quickly found out we could not park next to GZ but soon found a place to park. Didn't take long to find the cache but is in need of a new logbook. TFTC

A quick little find over looking the waterways here. The google aerial views look a heap different but streetview tells a better story. TFTC
Found it but i didn't want to write on the log as it was completely soaked. Clever hide mr Simpson. TFTC

Today was another epic cache run with best mate ahomburg thru an area of Melbourne I have not visited until today. This was one of 32 found and we also had a few DNFs.
A nice quick find and the area sure looks different to the Google satellite images. Surprising the log was wet but ahomburg was able to find a spot that was dry enough to sign. TFTC homerjay73

Find # 1784
After a late night at the WWFM IX event in the city and just three hours sleep, I was picked up by my caching partner in crime, sedgwickDave and we headed in a northerly direction towards Whittlesea and a massive day of caching.
A nice quick find for this one, but unfortunately the log was quite wet, not really sure how. Managed to sign the log with my Magic pen. [^]
Thanks to homerjay73 for the cache.

The concentration of hides in these new estates influenced my choice of places to walk this afternoon.
This was the last, and probably easiest homerjay cache of the day. Love the container.
The log book is so soaked that it is slimy, and in danger of becoming just a pulpy lump. Unfortunately, I didn't have a small enough baggie with me.
Cheers, homerjay... for the fun caches and the entertaining descriptions... It's hard to walk briskly while laughing. I'll be back on your patch soon for more entertainment.

I headed out tonight to meet up with Trailrunning and Danozz for a caching run north of Melbourne, around the Mernda to St Andrews region. Whe I met up with th guys at the next cache, TR had taken a bit ill (dodgy Chinese) and left to find the nearest Maccas to find some instant gastric relief. Danozz and I continued on for another couple of hours before I got a txt from home saying my two kids had taken ill during the night so we had to finish up an d I drop Danozz at home befoe heading home again my self; so it ended up being an unusually short run for the night.
After parking the car right next to GZ, we only had to look for a minute or so before locating the hide. Thanks for the cache.

Quick and easy find at 9.30pm, did not even need a torch. As i was about to retrieve the cache a little dog scooted past me. In alarm i stood up, looking for the owner, and trying to hide my find. I saw nobody. It was dark, but no one was there. Quickly tried to sign log, it is very damp, and replaced the cache. Still no owner. So if a little black dog runs past you as you do this cache do not worry. TFTC.
A quick find for this one. Unfortunately, the log in the cache was wet. We did manage to sign it though. Thanks for the hide.
Yep easy as. Had a severe case of soggy log after this mornings mist. Couldn't sign
TFTC, found at the end of a busy Friday 13th!. Dropped family off at home then set out to find a cache for my 365 day challenge. By the time i took the family home, i didnt feel like getting out again, but alas, i did and thanks again to HomerJ.
The log is wet, and will need replacing

Quick find once I got past the distractions of the passing world. Nice hide. Definantely relevant to the commentary. Loved the container. Shame I dont have a tv, miss watching the simpsons. TFTC TNLN
Spent a bit of time admiring my handy work having been on the teams that have planted and maintained most of the garden beds and wetlands.

3/02/2012 22:41 I was initially going to have a shot at the cache with no name until I re-read the cache listing and remembered it was the water one so opted for this nearby walk-by. GZ was pretty accurate with the hide being at least a little secluded and not quite as exposed as I had feared. In plain view? Not where I found it. It was pretty well hidden. TFTC homerjay73 TNLN SL

(catching up on logging) Found with bogonghazy. Another quick homerjay73 find on a lovely day out.
Quick find with Reesylou today at this great little lake.
Love the container HJ, and the sneaky hide. Thanks again, nice to see you back in the game.

It is amazing how these new estates are now maturing, and all since caching started! Cache found without any problems thanks.
Found @ 17:25. We were worried when we got to GZ, as the possibilities looked scarce, and knowing HJ's hides it wouldn't be the obvious. Not too many cars passing, and we were somewhat obscured from view. A short search and we were signing the log.

**** FTF **** at 8.30am The publish alerts started early this morning and we were still in bed. This was the second one to appear while we were still in bed - oh well thate were two - they were close enough to try for the FTF's and we thought the other FTF hound was not in town. So we heaeded out. This was our second stop. Parked and walked to GZ where the name appropriate cache container was spotted and retrieved - another clean log. -TNLN SL. - Then for a coffee nearby.
Now for a very late breakfast Thanks Homer for getting us out of bed

I thought it was an easy one as far as some of homerjay's caches go. There is a reason to be where gz is, so it dosen't look too suspicious being there looking around. Parking was a bit tricky, but close by. Thanks.
