Had a hunt for this one but no luck. Was weary that the nearby batch owner might think I was weirdo. Heard a window close loudly I so thought I'd outstayed my welcome and we continued on our caching adventure in this beautiful area. Thanks anyway
Today we drove upwarts north. On the way we pickup some caches. And this one was one of it. An other great day in new zealand.TFTC
Cache seems to be missing. There were just some items left but no container and no logbook.
In late afternoon and evening we drove from Whangarei to the beautiful area round Whale Bay and Matapouri Bay. We took a walk and enjoyed the very beautiful surroundings , and we also found a few caches.
This one caused no problems. Thanks for the cache.

thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today between Mangawhai Heads and Hikurangi ... we enjoyed all the beautiful places! TFTC and greetings from Belgium.
Whoops! Got seriously muggled by a resident. Had to explain ourselves and introduce a mum with 2 young children to 'our' game. She loved the sound of it and couldn't wait to take her kids on some hunts in the next holidays. Left behind our Aussie hitchhiker. TFTC
A quick side step of the electronic gates had me at GZ pretty quickly. A little unsure i was allowed to be inside this area until i read the description and felt a little bit better. Miss pointed out that a lady from the house closest was fully watching what i was up to. Once she wasn't looking, i ducked down and got on with business. Cache quickly spotted and log signed. Getting out of the bushes and the lady shouted out to see if i'd found it. Seems she knows the goings on of this cache. Nicely done. TFTC!
Having nice hollidays and nice Cache tours in New Zealand with Obelix0011. This was one of our founds on the other side of the world

This was one of the caches I found in NZ. I found many very nice locations and interesting views. Sorry that it is not possible for me to remember each one. So I write a default log. Thanks to all owners.
Thanks for the Cache.

Quickly recovered, signed and returned ...
Although I have to admit I did feel a bit conspicuous side-stepping the electronic gates to disappear into the bushes!
Up from Wellington for work, so good opportunity to score a few caches in another part of the country!

Decided to do a bit of a day tour of Northland and grab some easy drive-bys in the process. Thanks.
I prefer more isolated bachs this is nearly city living.-------------------------------

Easily found but container was full of rainwater and log is soaked. Unable to write on it.
In Whangarei again for the weekend to attend a meeting and add some more smilie faces to our Northland map.
We also felt conspicuous searching, especially as the area appeared to be a gated community, but we soon had the right trees and the log found and signed, even tho it was very damp, and we were not challenged by anybody.
Another smilie, thanks Dunnsontheroad.

#6180. Felt a bit conspicuous searching here. Pleased to eventually find the cache (though signing the log proved to be hard because it was so wet). TFTC.
Very flash baches. Tried to etch our names into the logbook as it was very wet.

I finally made it to Matapouri Bay today after a false start last Tuesday. Today it started fine and stayed that way all day.
Had to wait for a muggle to go in and then come back out again before looking for this one. The cache was half full of water. Logbook was wringing wet. Just managed to write my name..
Cheers for the cache.
2.45pm. An easy find. The log is soaked with pages stuck together. Sort of signed in one spot.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
Located this in the dark, sure would be a nice place for a bach although I think Mrs Dragon would like a few more cafe's.
Logbook very wet and cache was full of water but managed to dry out as best I could and scratch my mark

Still there and easy to find. Nice and close to check on! The Connell's.
GPS had us all over the place so had to use the clue. Be a great place to have a bach . TFTC
It required a tour of GZ to locate this one as the coords were out 28m by our GPS reading.

Coordinates changed to:
S 35° 33.913 E 174° 30.038
Distance from original: 81.3 feet or 24.8 meters.
Have decided to change the coordinates slightly after a number of people have said they are out. Our GPS must have been playing up that day. Hope these ones make it an easier find. Thanks to those who contributed better coords.

Thanks for the cache! Found it together with Fridschi - he actually did most of the "work" here. Thanks!
9161... Unfortunately, no Bach at the Beach for us either... just a cache, looks like a nice subdivision though, coordinates out by ~20m, found in an obvious spot, TFTC.
At first the coordinates had me standing in the middle of a field. So looked at the clue and found it 20 mts away
If struggling try changing the last three digits in the cordinates to 913 and 038 TFTC

Co ords way out for this cache but common sense prevailed and the hiding place was soon revealed.

Oh to be able to afford a bach here!!! Even if we could we wouldn't, not really our thing, but a nice place all the same. TFTC

Well wouldn't you know it - we arrive on a quiet Friday afternoon - and some wally is mowing the lawns at GZ!!! We lurked around and did a bit of a drive around the sub-division and when he went over to other side I made a quick grab.
Cache pretty wet so emptied it onto grass, dried it out, removed soggy orange paper hat, returned other goodies and added a few more bits. Put log into a new bag and then whole cache into another plastic bag before returning to its spot - just a bit more protection for it
Oh - and I don't think we'll be getting a 'bach' here - although there is 25 million up for grabs on Saturday night

Out for a few caches with Flowernz, arrived and had to avoid the lawnmower. Flower did a quick sneaky retrieve and cache was in hand. nice subdivision....TFTC
The coords are a little bit off, but the hint showed us the right place; finally we found it. TFTC & greetings from Austria!
Quick find while doing a job out this way today.A lot of muggles around with the longboard competition going on at Sandy Bay.TFTC.
Gps was taking us into the middle of the grass, but remembered Saltys pic and had a search with MiniMaxy making the grab, Left a pencil
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Spent the weekend visiting family in Whangarei.
Found in the middle of completing the Egg series.
Bumped into SaltyCacheNutZ whilst hunting for the cache, so joined forces to find this one!

Gosh, the Quiet Coast sure turns into Muggle City with the holidays... feeling mighty conspicuous & just about to give up & leave as coords were pointing me to middle of lawn when a car pulled up - luckily, they were cachers! A pleasure to meet and I owe the find to them as they persisted and made the find while I was goofing about taking pictures of flowers Thanks!
