Out for some caching fun along the railway, bit of a walk in and half the geo crew scared off by a snake seen on the road as we turned in but we got the cache geo dad stayed in the car lol
Found it. TFTC Marmick. Came back to this area to do this Sweeney Todd series and a few others. This one is one of the others, Happy to make the find, replaced as found.
Miserable weather but good caching day. Came for a run to see what we could achieve. Thanks for the Caches. All caches in good order.
Wish I bought a shopping list though.
Wish I bought a shopping list though.
Heading out for a day of geocaching with Meme28 and the geokids. All caches found in good condition.
I C Nothing headed to grab this one with the kids while Meme28 and I talked about the plan of attack for the rest of the series we were about to tackle.
With everything locked in we started along the track.
• • • • •
We had a quiet morning at home and we’re just about to head and do some running around when a call from I C Nothing came through, after a bit of back and forth worked out I could meet up with them and Meme28 for an afternoon of caching around Jarrahdale.
With no real plan of attack we organised where to meet and make a choice then.
Once we were all together we decided to attach the Stephen King series.
We followed the tracks as far as our cars would get us (with a bit of reversing once we hit our limit) before finishing off a few more caches closer to town.
An absolutely brilliant day out on the trails ending up with 46 finds and 1 DNF.

Thanks Marmick for placing this cache for me to find, this is find number 3423 for me.

Nice easy find for the start or our day, container is still in good condition. thanks for the cache.
I broke my rear derailleur on the Yellow Brick Road not far from GZ two days ago. After another spin around Langford Park today, I need to find one cache and this was it. I got rained on this morning but it was lovely morning to be in the bush. TFTC
Found with Paula74wa and zpoolman and breadangles and XxpartymakerxX and breadangles
What a fabulous Sunday out to complete the Mystery at the Museum series with zPoolman and all our geokiddies.
Our first find of the day on a cool 4wding oouting with ItsBrittanyBeach, Leana and Lanahx circled around a bit before finding the right spot, tftc!
FoundOut on a wet day doing a bit of 4WDing around Jarrahdale, as well as picking up a few caches. All in all, a pretty sweet, but wet day! [^]
Found with no difficulty. Cheers Marmick!

We have been looking at this area for while and today we had the opportunity to give it a go. Our goal for the day was to find 100 caches so together with BigRyanFamily an their Prado we tackled the Stephen King and Procrastination series. I have always liked the Stephen King Books so this series was bringing back some memories as we made our way around.
Our first one for the morning on our way to the Stephen King series

Day 283 of our 366 day straight challenge. Out with ChrisRG to grab as many of the Stephen King and Procrastination series as we can, with the aim of 100 caches for the day. Sorry about generic logs but time is of the essence. TFTC
Started out at a reasonably early hour with caching partner ilook4geo, as the day was promising to be another hot one. Deciding to only cache for the morning, we headed out along this run to see how many caches we could find in that time. The score was 53 finds and only 1 miss.
Each log had our names added and was replaced as found before we moved on.
Thank you to Marmick for placing this cache.

Out on the caching trail with goingplaces2 for the morning. Had a great time and found lots of caches. Logs were signed, caches were put back and we moved on. Loved the track with even a couple of almost 4WD parts. TFTC.
Another nice sized container. The flies are very friendly today.
TFTC Marmick this is find # 5427 for us.

We headed down to Jarrahdale today to continue on cleaning up the map and claiming those smilies, we had a great day full of lots of laughs and adventures, we only had one DNF for the day but came up trumps here, most of the finds were nice and quick with coordinates being pretty spot on, thanks to all CO’s for placing the caches, we collected some TB’s along the way and will move them on TFTC
Found at 1:33:00 PM.
Wowee, what a day! Today rudi63 and I made plans to tackle the Procrastionation Installation series. So after getting picked up early for a Saturday we set off and found a couple of caches on the way with our first finds being around 0800 and last about 1430. After smashing out the Procrastionation Series with many variants of our names in the log books - some say wc & r63, some are our full names and some are stamped. Really depended on how we were feeling at each one [:o)] - we paused to consider our next move. Thankfuly we had rudi63's 4WD as although most of the track is passable by 2WD there are definitely some places where the extra 2WD really came into its own. Part way through the Procrastination Installation series we also stopped off to gather a night cache in the middle of the day [8]
The decision was made to start the Stephen King series and then turn off to grab the earthcache. Well that didn't work out as we passed under Nettleton Road when we thought we were level with it. Not to matter as we were flying along completing the series. We had one cache that was burnt out but rudi63 had a replacement that suited this sort of series in his car so the owner need not worry.
After a very enjoyable Stephen King series (they are awesome books as well) we made our way towards the Civilisation series earthcache. On the way I grabbed a couple of caches that rudi63 had already done, including one of the older caches in WA. Earthcache complete, we headed for home but first we went and turned a on the Civilisation series into a as well as stopping off for a couple of other easy grabs.
All in all a succesful day with 105 finds to each of us! Not bad considering I was thinking I would get about 40 today
Thanks for the cache Marmick, it was cache number 2585 for me and was number 101 in my run of 105 finds and 0 DNFs for today's geocaching effort.
Cheers

Found 10/1/18 with Sassenach 87. There was a cache guardian and while Sassenach is not arachnophobic I'm still learning. It's not dead nor where we found it
This cache wasn’t in the series that we were doing but it was close-by so we thought why not? It was guarded closely by a female huntsman spider, but I was not to be put off (I used to breed them when I was younger, and had a pet tarantula as well!)
We headed out with a big group today to do the Stephen King series, and couldn't not do this one first! A nice medium with some decent swap items for the kids to get them excited and geared up for the day. TFTC!!
Took a break from hiding and maintaining, and targeted the Steven king series. Came with big crew!! Some walked, some drove. Tftc and bringing us here. Thanks for your efforts to geocaching in wa. Before going to the the Steven Kind Series thought, we had to do Marmick.
Headed out with a big group this morning to complete the Steven King series. Perferct the for the geokids, this cache was close by, as a Medium which had some great swaps them! Kept them motivated for the rest of the caching adventures - little did they know, it was all smalls, although there were a few swaps for them along the way . Thanks for the hide!
Headed out for the morning with family and their family - muskcat83, janssej & marlsj - some were up for the challenge of walking with some of the kids. Others took the car and some kids and started from the other end. Thanks for the series!
Some of our first caches were from the Marmick series so good to tick another off. Parked near here to do the Stephen King series on mountain bike. Cache in good nick. Left a kangaroo keyring. TFTC.
*Found this while House Sitting in Bedfordale*
*Out and about letting my GPS be my guide*...
A short stroll, a short search, found cache, stamped and returned.

Are we going to the movies today? Oh no mostly horror films, must be Stephen King getting into caches! Met up with fratra and PP2 and did the lot plus a few others, some nice drives and puddles.
TFTC junta29 and for bringing us out to this new area.

Gabs1963 and Miss-Placed came down to meet up with me for one last caching adventure before I venture further afield. We finished being civil to each other yesterday morning, and we started to stand by each other. Today we are hoping to finish the series as well as get some random caches. I love this area, and hope to be back soon. TFTC Marmick
Miss-Placed and I came down to meet Becknmonts for one last caching adventure before she ventures further afield. We headed off from Gero finding a few geocahes along the way, we stopped at Moora for Breaky and with quite a few laughs along the trip down, we got there.
Day 4 early start again we have a lot of geocaching planned again today, off we go jiggling just a little bit again, lots of big puddles, nice dirt tracks on stand by me series and a few others along the way
tftc

This is our last caching day with BecknMonts before she heads to the dark side, so we decided to pick up where we left off standing by me on the railway track, then maybe picking up few a the smaller series as the day continues.
Thank you to all the cache owners for placing these caches and maintaining them. It has been a great trip and deciding to go for quality caches and not number hunting was a brilliant choice on our behalf and we have done nothing but laugh and enjoy the caches we have have found.

Quick find in between the Procrastination series and the Jarrahdale 4x4 Tracks.

Catching up on logging caches as I always forget todo this part after finding with Cravo10 and Barnzy12
I'm not usually home from work when I am unwell however I have several trainees under me at the moment and as I wasn't feeling very well they insisted I stay home, don't mind if I do. I had a great sleep in after planning my journey last night and saving the caches to an off line list.
I woke to the sound of rain and was instantly demoralised, soon however the rain slowed so I got in the car. Halfway to the starting point the rain stopped and the sky's cleared the making of a good geocaching day.
The main agenda today was the procrastination series however after the heavy rains the geocar was a little out of its depth. I soon turned around and started on some other caches in the area until attempting from the other end. Again the geocar ran out of solid ground and will have to return to get the patch in the middle.
All caches were found in good condition started logging in pen until that gave away and then moved to pencil. All caches were placed back as found.
It's very disappointing to see the dumping of rubbish in some of these areas. This area sees some real attention from the motor /dirt bikes and can come around some corners very quickly.

Out and about with Big09 doing some caches away from home in the hills. lot of great cache trail around here. TFTC
Originally found under family caching name "clan-wallace". Geohubby wants his own caching name, so I get to re log them for him!
We are slowly plodding through this series when time permits & we stumble across them while doing something else. I suppose I should plan them really, but we are getting there. TFTC
wellsy21 and I decided to head out this morning and grab the nearby Procrastination series. While up this way, we grabbed a couple nearby ones as well.
Parked up and wandered over for a quick find.
