I also had not luck I think this needs to be checked - but its a lovely park and a few people with some very well behaved 4 legged muggles
No luck for me but its damp and a work call came in while i was mucking about in the undergrowth. cheers from casa del hince TFTC
Brought Poppy the GeoStaffy along for the journey as she is a great fan of SCOOBY DOO. Initially walked straight past the cache as I thought it was some household refuse however upon closer inspection I spotted the Official Geocache label. Replaced it at base of nearest tree and partially concealed it with a few leaves. SL TFTC
Great location and good instructions with easy find. The cache was open and spread everywhere. Found lid put back together and placed in same spot. Might need a little attention . Thanks
Easy to find contents all wet except for one bag with log book. Found it with Hayhayp93

Mid-week caching en route from Palmy. A handful of random caches in Levin.
Straightforward find, cache in order; log signed, safely re-hidden.

Working in Levin and caching after work this was close to where I was. A nice walk and rewarded with a great cache. Was putting cache back and a dog went screaming past in the bush in response to his masters call. ..... well that's one of my lives scared out of me..... TFTC
TFTC, unfortunately we picked the wrong way to go and had to bash through shrubbery!
found today and yes very wet. added new bag with new paper and added dry bags so other should be able to sign. i cant believe the amount of people who dont pick up their dog poo. i dont get it. yes its a dog park and i had my dog with me..but jee whizz...watch where you step. Dont leave your eyes glued on your gps.
Nice dog park for running our K9 friends. Found with Jax479 with the keen eyes of T man. TFTC
Didn't quite fit in without a four legged friend. Had to walk a child instead. The cache out in the open so covered with hint objects. Wet log book. Eith metal-art.
A road trip with tommygun9 was decided for today so we set off from work at lunchtime for a trip down the line to Levin in a truly dreary, wet and damp winters day.
A nice easy wwalk to GZ revealed a rather damp and watery cache, much like the lake down the road. Tried emptying the water but unable to sign the log. This cache is one of my two missing 175 degree caches for the skindo challenge
Nice hide anyway needs a little T L C

Heaps of dags out today getting exercise but fortunately this cache is far enough off the main area to be easy to find and return.
The cache itself however had water inside and the log was saturated! Managed to sign it as Tommygu before my pen stopped.
Nice park for a cache though.

The description made sense once I was there, definitely walkies time when we visited. Cache very damp.

Found it. Was a bit wet but have added some more paper. Remember to zip up the bags. Had a little fantail follow us
Probably took the long way to get to GZ, but cache was quickly found at GZ. Could hear dog walkers not too far away ... but no problems accessing cache. Didn't know about the condition of the cache prior to arrival, so unfortunately didn't bring any supplies with me. Container definitely wet ... but log in not too bad condition.
TFTC!
dropped off a GC for the next finder.

Lots of friendly dogs and their owners out today. Took a couple of tries to approach cache from the proper angle. Got there in the end. Tftc
Twice my GPS has taken me to the wrong end of the trail! WARNING - once you know the general area - ignore the GPS and rely on your own "bump of locality" to get you to the cache.
Very simple and straight forward then!

Container, contents and log very wet. Suggest when you go there to take dry log and new plastic bags and a towel to dry off swag as it's a great hide.
A day visiting Foxton and Levin with JonoS today. Started in rain which fortunately stopped managed to find quite a few with only three DNF.
A lovely park but do go to the top of road and not into the new houses as it's a dead I end. Involved some scratchy bushes and blind faith but it was there a bit wet and need of some maintenance and drying out.
Met a man who asked where our dog was ?
Suggest you wear long pants if you don't want scratches!
Thanks for the cache.

Walking the dog at this sunny late afternoon with Stefthevet in this nice dog park....just a few muggles, so we looked around and around... and around...until finally Stefthevet found the cache. TFTC!
Found with GabiG50 after a really long search, got covered in spider webs (yuck...) but finally gps pointed in the right direction... Some muggles came along while I was searching but my dad and my dogs running in and out of the bush provided great decoys TFTC, can finally tick this one off my list!
Cache #68
In Levin for a couple of hours, so thought I'd hit a couple traditions out of the park.
Quickly zeroed in on GZ.
Cache quickly recovered, dated and signed.
- [mr_roo] Pathtag
• Contents and log very damp
Thanks for the cache!
and as always ~Happy Hunting!

Took a bit of looking don't have GPS every thing wet found couple pages dry, but Found it
A quick find on my Levin trip. A nice big park for the doggies to run around. TFTC
The night before at the motel I spotted this cache. It was a must to do and all the way to gz all I could do was sing Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where Are You? We got some work to do now. This was stuck in my head and couldnt get it out. I got to near gz and went bush. Acouple of dog walkers went by and stopped and talked to the geomum who was waiting for me. I stood still waiting for them to go. They were out trying to catch rabbits for there dinner or something.
I then continued my way to the listed coordinates and made a quick find TFTC

Found a way in and GPS right on the mark to find the cache. A little bit wet - tipped out the water - but still signable. TFTC !
Well curiosity drove me and so I set off to find my first one. A rock placed by a tree.

Cache # 1,260 - found today with Violet Butterfly. Had to wait a little bit for some muggles to pass before diving into the bush. Cache was an easy find, and as others have reported, was also waterlogged. Dumped a centimeter of water out. Fortunately recently placed substitute log was fine. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Found today with Wandering Dragons. A beautiful day, although we might have been out of place in this park without a dog!

Cache #462
This one was water logged so I've put too sealed bags in it my second time trying to fine this one.It had me jumping over fences ex lol and how friendly the cows are. TFTC
It's probably a good idea to access this cache through the Dog Park rather than from the Donnelly Park end like we did. Lucky we had our gumboots as we managed to get through a whole herd of cows. It was actually our second time here as the first time we somehow missed it which is why we thought we'd go through the Donnelly Park end. Replaced the log with another one inside a plastic bag, and then inside another plastic bag with all the bits & pieces inside this cache. Should be all good now for people to sign this until the owner of the cache does a proper replacement if she likes. TFTC
A quick easy find. All quiet at GZ. I only passed some muggles walking their dog after the cache had been found. Like others I couldn't sign the log due to the cache container being waterlogged.

Not too many muggles around. Found the cache but couldn't sign log book as saturated, emptied the water out of the container as well.
QUICK FIND ON A STILL FOGGY MORNING. CACHE IS SOPPING WET SO COULDN'T WRITE NAME & CONTAINER WAS FULL OF WATER.
11377... Glad we had our gumboots, made it very easy to dodge the two electric fences between the geomobile and GZ. Quickly found the cache but no logbook, used a vivid marker to sign the back of one of the many calling cards left in the container. TFTC.
a nice size cache and holds lots of water with the lid off unable to SL badly in need of maintainance TFTC
Cache container had water in it which I emptied but log was dry. This was a fluke find, once in the area I couldn't find my way out again! (Well eventually I did without damaging the plants!)
After stumbling around a bit, we happened upon the cache! Removed an inch of water from the cache!

#4743. Could have saved ourselves a short drive by using the stiles, but the walk was more pleasant from where we ended up parking. TFTC.
We tried to access this from Cache of Koal, ended up driving around to Queen St and walking from here. Spotted the stile near GZ and realised we should have taken the stile at the other cache site.
This took a wee while to track down, didn't realise it was quite a distance in the bush.

On the way back to Wellie, with a couple of nights in Levin at the better halfs parents, after a great New Year at Mangaweka Campground.
Rather damp to get to the GZ after the sudden rain that had recently fallen.
Easy find when at the GZ, be intersting to see what park maintenance think when doing any weeding.
Took Butch The Bulldog for a walk.

We have no K9, although the Geo-Grandma who was with us has had several guide dogs in the past and so we know this area, and it is lovely even without a dog. A quick find. TFTC.
Decided to leave Butch the Bulldog geocoin here - seemed appropriate.

Definitely a fun exercise dodging the dog-walkers, diving into the bush and quickly spotting the cool cache. There is also a nesting bird with eggs right by the cache which was a nice surprise and capped off a fun cache in a nice park, TFTC

Buster came along for the jog to this cache. He soon sniffed the cache out. Container not really holding up to the weather, cache wet but logbook ok for the time being. TFTC

(#5 of 13 for a weekend away). Parked in Donnelly Park to do the close three. Dodged the cowpats getting over the middle section only to find two legged and four legged muggles barring our way. Waited a while and made a dash for cache. Then more muggles...bugger! We hid for a while but they weren't moving so we made our way carefully through the bush (luckily not too thick) round to the other side where we could depart unseen only to nearly get sprung by two more muggles coming over the stile. Eek! Shrunk back into the bush and waited until we thought we could make our escape. We didn't look back until halfway over the paddock to find the whole group in full sight. Giggled all the way back to the car. Nice to see a good size cache.

#879. A quick find qt GZ, our goldies love this park and made about twenty new canine friends today. +tb, -bottle. SL, TFTC.
Easy find but then had to stand very still as a muggle and pooch came wlking past. Could see the dog stand and look in my direction in the bushes and sniffing the air. Its owner then called it away and I managed to slip out unseen. TFTC
We remember this park from when the 'Kowhai Park' cache was here. It is a lovely place to walk in with or without a dog, but plenty of 4-legged friends were enjoying themselves today. Cache located without problems. TNLN TFTC
On holidays from Australia enjoying a caching trip with J+J.au. Always amazed at the places and sights that geocaching shows me. SL..TFTC
Nicely hidden cache with a good size and well stocked, makes a change from the numerous micros I have been doing lately.
Cache is in the best traditions of the sort of thing that caches were originally made of!
Not too difficult to find and nicely concealed from the numerous dog walking and other muggles wandering around on a fine Saturday afternoon.

It took a wee while to find our way to the correct location, on arrival at which the cache was pretty obvious. TFTC
Geocache for the day was a good walk round the reserve and pickup the one Cache as we went round the reserve was a easy find for the taybee TFTC
#7 and last find of the day saw the junior cachers leaving dad in the car and heading off over the farmlands into the park for a quick find.
