Road tripping with membsec, finding a few caches along the way. I was happy to find that this archive was still in position, what a lovely little church and interesting history.
Thanks for the cache bubbles1971

On 2 day trip of the north with Nyssaflutterby so she couldn't resist helping us find archived caches. Great to see that this one is still here at this historic church.

Extremely easy find.
The lid was off the container, some dead bugs were also floating around in it - which I assume were NOT swaps!
I'd personally suggest finding a better place for this cache - same area though. This is a beautiful church.
Very creepy at night though.

Spooky at night time. Something about churches in graveyards at night seem just that little forboding. Lid was off the cache unfortunately. TFTC found with TheEuphorian and KillKillMultiply.

We like history and heritage so we enjoyed walking to this cache in the church grounds. TFTC!
Nice and easy on a glorious day in Hadspen after a very, very wet one yesterday. TFTC. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown en route from Bundaberg Qld to Perth WA via all of Tasmania.
Found before going down to the river to hopefully find some gold! TFTC find #166

This is a nice church with an interesting history. The cache was easily found by my 3 year old. Thanks for the pleasant caching experience.
Relatively easy find first thing in the morning with just a friendly little dog for company. Nice old church. Tftc
Drove past this one earlier in the day, but being Sunday (& Aust Day to boot), it was - well, rather busy. Came back mid afternoon to find a single muggle taking piccies. Yeah, it's a nice church. Waited for his departure "pretending" to look at headstones. I'm usually a bit wary of caches in graveyards but this one was OK with two thumbs up.

Yay - found it today while on the Great Tour of Tasmania - on the way to Devonport and the Spirt of Tasmania. Cute old Church in a cute old town. Thanks bubbles1971 for setting this one up and bringing me to Hadspen.
Finally a cache in Tas that isn't in the bloody bushes. Nice cutch and neat hide. TFTH

Interesting to learn the history of the church - another great thing about geocaching. Spent some time checking out the gravestones. TFTC.
Nice one! TFTH. Swapped a peg and clip for a badge and 5c. This is our 2nd cache and my kids are hooked.
Great time out with the family. DR JAMES, SMELLY BELLY 8 and JABs Had a lot of fun and it was a very lovely day. Gained lots of fantastic memories and visited some cool places. This was part of my geocaching scouting challenge.

Out caching Dad does not have a phone like Mums and has to log later. We all had fun.
Found on our geocaching scouts challenge. Was a fun day out with the family JABs pE and Dr J. We sore lots of different areas and lots of different types of caches.
Was to early to disturb the locals so a quick dash across the open and a circle of GZ to locate and move on before anyone even noticed we had stopped by Thanks for the quick stop over.
JABs.

Time is running out. We leave the Launceston area in a few days, and there's still heaps of caches to find.
A very interesting church. The GPS led us around a bit, and then settled on a good spot.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Plastic man
Thanks bubbles1971 for the hunt today.

On the forth last palendromic day of the year decided to get the cache score up a bit. Lovely day out. Worth investigating this cache if only for the church's history. Thank you.
Nice little wander through the church grounds - my GPS was jumping all over the place, was it the weather or the location?? Found thanks to the description - TFTC!!
A little frog was living in the cache location. A nice easy find after a bit of a scratch around.
This trip to Tasmania going anticlockwise from Devonport is our third trip and the first in our motorhome. This is another cache, there will be many more, hopefully.
