No matter what, I needed to record a find for chirstmas day. As I was spending the night with extended family tonight just at the top of the hill tonight, this was hoping to be an easy find. As I has told the family about my geocaching plan, they were keen or stupid to find out what the f... I was talking about. So we all reached gz with about 12 pair of eyes looking about. Not sure what i would find, i really didn't know how to expect what we were looking for. In my drunkin state, I tried to desricbe what possibly made be found. Many minutes past with the many eyes looking. I sort of knew what I needed to find but couldn't find it. I then describe my theory on what may be the prize when someone had said, yeah, that sounds like this. They then showed me and spot they believed what the location then with a closer look from myself revived the chirstmas day geocache! They were amazed of the hidden treasure that may be anywhere but hidden so well from everyone else. A great find, very well done. Devilish hide me thinks. Good for a fav tick though! TFTC.
This is a cool cache. Go with your instincts, and persevere. It almost looks just like the hint, except thinner. TFTC
Took a little while to narrow down the options and then i finally spotted the crafty cover. Nicely done
Yea ris he is massive I did a cache check this Arvo scared the living jehebis out of me!
Hoolie doolie there was one big bad cache guardian (the 8 legged variety), so glad he was bad at his job and ran away to allow me access to the cache. SL #602 on streak day #109 TFTC

Arrived and this time and I found in less than a minute. Previously I can't explain my actions in not locating this one, but I deserved to have made the find. SL TFTC
After Sparkeys special spent more time here confident and walked away with a sad face. Will be back though. TFTH
Arrived at GZ and found the Pineapple, started looking - i'll admit I kind of gave up and was in the process of PAF when I found it!!
A great little hide! Thanks TS
A great little hide! Thanks TS
well my caching eyes were not on today that's for sure, spent about 20 min to 1/2 hour looking at all things pineapple, with no luck so tried for a clue from the CO, gave me specific clues.... but I was obviously not observant enough to spot the difference. Met the CO on site as I thought with the clues it had been muggled, nope just a bit further around to where I was looking. Great sneaky hide I would have had to come back a few times. TFTC Good to catch up TS #598
FINALLY arrived at ground zero with lockogang to find fellow cachers sjamp ater intros we searched and searched and finally sjamp PAF and still we searched I was starting to think I'm never gonna find this cache Lockogang come up with the goods and we could all go home for lunch , nice meeting you sjamp. off to USA next week and yes I have some caches picked out.

After not finding this the first time I returned with all of the family. Not long into the search a voice was heard: 'have you looked for this before?'. It was nice to meet Mystery,Inc and Lockogang, and together we searched, exchanging ideas and discussed nearby caches.
Eventually we were stumped, and I resorted to PAF for guidance. Even with some general confirmations and to help narrow our search we spent a long time examining what was in front of us. Finally Lockogang located something, and soon it became clear that this was it. A clever hide that is just so difficult to pick, even when you're staring at it! Thanks TS.

I made a very lucky guess about what I was looking for but it took a couple of minutes to find it. The new log made it feel like a 2TF. TFTC
1100, GAFF3, Yep, we were looking at it this time.
A sneaky but clever hide.

I'm looking at it, but I just can't see it! A fruitless search for GeoDaughter and I this afternoon. Thanks for another great cache that I can't find!
We had two cracks at this one today, and spoke to the CO at Poles apart this morning, we still came up empty handed.
We will be back another day.
TFTC anyway Team Sunderland.
Just noticed this one had been taken offline, and the CO has confirmed that it will be back up and running very soon. Thanks for the great caches Team Sunderland

Hi all cache replaced good to go,should be easier to find (thanks to Blacktown council),cheers
Stopped off this Arvo a quick check the cache is there ready to be found.....btw no need for step ladders or any tools Look at the terrain rating, the cache is right there in front of you, cache on!
Came back with a small pair of steps and once again empty after 15mins. Will let this one go until CO checks it out.
I'm a little rusty with not geocaching in about 7 months. I prob should have gone earlier because it got too dark during my search.
Went with happypaintball family, as they had found it on a previous occasion, they smuggly sat back & had fun watching us try to find it. Finally got there in the end. Great cache had lots of fun. Thanks to happypaintball for the great afternoon.
Stopped by did cache check today found cache not where it should be replaced in position all good now, cheers.
Arrived at park to a kids party in full swing, we walked to a spot out of the way and while Geokids started a systematic search I saw something that was not quite right, yep a cache.
Quick find today but think we were just lucky today - it could have taken much longer.

We need to PAF for an extra hint today as all we were getting was prickles! Nicely hidden Team Sunderland, thanks.
I met the jkcourtz team at this one, we couldn't locate it, so we went off to some other nearby caches.
Whilst elsewhere j rang a paf and we were soon back on track to find this cache.
Luckily I turned it up, as my searching skills were in a slump today. Thanks TS, another well hidden cache.

Met up with Team Doobie again after meeting them at "Release the Hounds". Searched the area but with no luck. We were about to give up when I hear "I found it". Thanks Team Doobie, I wouldn't have found this sneaky cache without you.

Searched the area thoroughly with another geocacher, SensibleSis, but no luck. This one had us beat. Will be back another day to try again.
After a little confirmation from a trading of information between CO's, I was able to zero in on this sneaky little hide.

After our recent success with the CO's new multi we thought we could tackle this one. Arrived at GZ to see what was involved and the choices. Well we knew it would be a bit of a search shall we say. Not too many muggles about so we started the search. We looked for about 10min and thought this might be fruitless and considered moving on but then saw so thing a little out of place and with a little more inspection our search soon bore fruit (we a cache). Back to the car to get a pen to complete the singing duties and then to return the cache and its camo. A tricky one. TFTC
In the area with pjmpjm, so we stopped to look for this cache.
This looked like it was going to take a while as when we arrived a couple small kids were playing right at GZ, but we must have looked official with our Hi-Vis vest and the kids ran away to the nearby playground.
A short search in fact turned up the cache very quickly, so we were only there for a short time.
Thanks for the cache.

Another find with rogerw3 while returning to the Blue Mountains from a trig hunting expedition in the Dural area.
Two children playing with an abandoned shopping trolley at GZ nearly put us off, but the poor kids took one look at our official fluoro vests and ran for cover, probably thinking that the Council was arriving to charge them with theft from Coles!
Anyhow, that left the coast clear for what I thought would be a long and challenging hunt for the hidden container. However, rogerw3 turned it up immediately!
All was in good order. TNLNSL. A clever hide indeed. The location is a bit exposed and we can only hope that the neighbours aren't gradually becoming suspicious of all the weird activity going on amidst the pineapples . . .
Many thanks to Team Sunderland!

All we got here today was some prickles, and no pineapple. We will be back again soon, thanks.
Hi all I've bumped the difficulty up half a Starr due to recent dnfs and Logs good lucky to all , cheers .
After a few DNF's before this one we were getting a bit down in the dumps. After searching for a while and finding how prickly these pineapples can be was ready to give up. After using a PAF for a hint returned and soon found it.
Great hide. I think the difficulty could go up a notch.

I braved the evening chance of rain and went for a 2nd cache. I parked a mere metres from GZ and got out to survey these Pineapple wannabes. I searched a little, then left to grab the close GCA frog and then walked back up again. I checked the hint and read some logs, and interestingly the parts about spot on coords.
So I followed the GPSr and let it go down to 0. Once there I began another search. Sure enough Team Sunderland's cache was found. WOW, clever and simple...hahaha, well done. I SL and replaced again just as the rain started to come down for what was to be an absolute downpour later on. Thanx for another tricky cache TS, loved it, TFTC.

Arriving at GZ, I knew that this cache would take some time to find. I had notice that some kids must have been playing cubbyhouses with the natural building supplies here and was worried the cache might be muggled. Searched for about 10 minutes before looking at hint. What could be meant by the hint? Does it mean eye height? Does it mean looking at the object in question? So I continued the search for another 5 minutes when I finally got a good reading of GZ from the GPS (Garmin Oregon 450t) and soon had the cache in hand. Nice Hide, spot on Co-ordinates. Thanks Team Sunderland for another great challenge.

I thought I would pop in and check this little guy out on my way home from work.
Parking no problem,GZ no problem, ohh where on earth is is it..problem?
So I spent the next 20mins looking very carefully at all the things and then I found the thing I was looking for. Very Cool indeed.
SL and put back the way I found it.

Again Team Sunderland have put out another very sneaky cache, well sneaky for me, I couldn't find it.
I will be back for another look.
Interesting though, there is a GCA Leap Frog cache at GZ, under the debris at the base of the middle tree. Go figure!!

I think damage is being done as there is much more tree matter on the ground than only a week ago!?!

Unbelievable, frustrating but simple...is probably the best way to describe this cache! We picked up geogirls from school & noticed that it had a few DNF's on it so we headed straight over to have a look...thank goodness that there is play equipment close by for the geogirls to play on while we searched...well 20min later & we were still looking when CO turns up...there are soooo many spots to look at here...our new Garmin 550 pointing us in one direction we had CO confirm that GZ was the other direction & then we still spent another 25min before geodad finally goes a-huh...we realised that we had CIH several times to the Rob's amusement...such a clever, clever hide...we can see why it is not being found & good luck to it's next victims......insert evil laugh here...T4TC...I think ...oh & 2nd TF...
I needed a find for my Jan streak but a 30 minutes search revealed nothing. Lots of possibilities (maybe too many for a 1.5?)
Thanks

Having achieved success with Little Bugger, thought we'd give this one a try, but sadly, we gave in way too quickly as we were a bit tired and hungry and probably in need of a real pineapple for some energy. Looked at everything we could think of as a good place to hide and just too hard for us today. There will be a next time!
Stopped by here today for a bite to eat and a poke around.
No luck for us today.

I was onsite within 15mins of this one being published and quickly became overwhelmed with the possible hiding spots. after 5 mins Hammerman turned up and we both started to go over the site. Hammerman with his wonderful gadgets, me, well i stumbled along as i do.
Shortly afterwards by way of process of elimination and some luck i had cache in hand.
Thankyou Hammerman for the help and thankyou Team Sunderland for another quality cache.
