A nice little stroll in the bush. I was so hot collecting caches around the city I thought I'd try some bush ones. I was a bit worried as my phone isn't usually good in the bush but I easily found the gz and hence the cache. The waterproof log was quite damaged and hard to read/sign. I managed a red Lis. TFTC
Out for an evening exercise jaunt and find some caches. Straight fowad find with the clues given. TFTC
Another day in Whangarei, fefe.adrien and I decided to do the loop track, quite steep and muddy but lovely^^.

Nice easy find. We had a couple of muggles on our tail we had to throw off in order to make the grab. TFTC.
I am back in my home town of Whangarei for the holiday period and this morning went out for a walk around Coronation Scenic Reserve, a place I haven't walked through for a very long time! I did the loop walk starting at Kauika Road West and found all caches along the loop - it was a nice walk and I only met one muggle on the entire loop. Followed the instructions and made a quick find of the cache here. TFTC!

Gps up to its normal tricks so walked me right by what i thought was a cache like spot, then didnt seem to know where to go... so i returned to the spot noted and it was indeed the right kinda place to look.. Cache sense saves the day:-)
found the cache but also found a log and silica pod ground on the nearby! not sure if maybe these got dropped when the log was changed? have put both back in the cache. tftc
Great spot. Container have water in it so emptied it, dried the inside and log log as best as I could then added a silica packet to hopefully help in the future. Signed and replaced so the container was upright (it was on its side)
Finally getting back out for some hiking and geocaching after a hiatus. Very quick find on our way to the lookout above the Quarry Arts Centre. It is an enjoyable hike, but it was also difficult with the little ones. TFT(Saturday Morning)C.
Lovely Reserve. Enjoyed my little wander. Morning heating up already!
Didn't notice the slip mentioned ... must be nicely cleaned up. Nice quick find.
Up from Wellington for work, so good opportunity to score a few caches in another part of the country!

Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
Our first one so, it was very exciting!!! Found it after a bit of hunting. The clue was helpful. Good description of directions! Thanks.
Perfect afternoon for a wander in the bush. Nice and shady on a hot Sunday afternoon. Never been along this path before it was lovely. No problems locating the cache. Thanks
Liz and I (HotRodPete) decided to do a bit of cache hunting while our daughter was at the Hobbit movie. Found after a pleasant stroll on a bush track where I used to hang out with my mates when I was a kid. TFTC
A quick find on the way down from the top .......after getting a bit lost when the track vanished.... TFTC.
Found on a day of local caching
This area has been seriously upgraded since I was last here

Out and about for a weekend of geocahing with SethRaven. Love how Geocaching takes you to places you would never normally find. TFTC
I looked where I thought the cache would be and it wasn't there so I headed further up the bank to another thing matching the clue. It wasn't there so I turned back around and there it was - where I thought it should have been in the first place ...how did I not see it? TFTC and for all the others that have helped made my work trip a lot more fun up here in Whangarei
Super little walk from parking spot. Lovely bush and the nikau are my favourite. Thanks
Out with tikitour again today - but had to be careful what caches i was finding as nearly at the end of my 100/100 challenge - this cache put me to 93/93
Very intrepid getting into the track as work is going on - but a quiet Sunday morning so off we went - track itself was great and cache soon in hand - TFTC

Out for a few caches with Flowernz and hubbies, a lovely Northland day. The track is still having work done on the entrance but we carefully made our way through the mud......what we do to find a cache !!! once on the track proper it was a nice walk through to the cache. Quick find. TFTC
Maintenance work has progressed further down the track and allowed a quick find today. T4TC!
Workmen close to GZ today as part of the new track surfacing and general tidy up. Did not attempt a find.
8980 A pleasant stroll in the Coronation Scenic Reserve, nice bushwalk but it was a little sticky underfoot, TFTC.
10.30am. This is a nice reserve. The track is being worked on at present. The surface is wet sticky clay and my shoes were caked! The small digger was parked right alongside GZ. Found the cache on the ground so replaced it where I think the hint says it should be.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.

Just had to get out early as was still in the area after a Fun filled 24 hour road trip in the Geonut with Rednumb6 further south. Interesting wee trail of which I never knew was here. Just above gz this morning was a poor wee possum trying to sleep against the trunk of the tree. Cute pet!!! Signed the empty log and set off for home.TFTF
