I went to have a look at it and work out what I should have had with me - but I didn't. Next time!
With this one being on my to do list for some time and the chance to grab some unloved points I met up with Snap Happy and targeted this one on a warm and sunny afternoon. Armed with a nice new set of waders I wanted to christen I lead the way as Snap Happy followed as we entered the murky waters and fortunately we scouted the way in before getting wet. We enjoyed the little adventure to get to this one with plenty of laughter and a few squeals as negotiated the shallower way through. We too found the muggled cache container and left a temp log before heading back to the main land, thanks homerjay73 for the cache.
*Grabbing a cache or two to maintain my current streak*

Owner might need to attend this one.
Found this one today. Great challenge getting across the murky muddy waters. Kept shorts dry thanks to Google satellite
Unfortunately looks like it's been muggled and log was wet so was unable to log in paper.
Placed log into container and put back.

What an epic cache =D
I had pre-planned for this adventure, thank the Lord!
With a day off work, I had caffeine and errands under my belt, caching bound I then was. Armed with a change of footwear and towel, I headed in.
I fumbled around for a bit, umming and ahhing, psyching myself up. My adrenaline was pumping.
I sat on a nicely provided chair, changing my attire, I heard a can crack nearby, ugh, muggles -.- I went and spoke to them, telling them I was thinking about going over to the little island, they told me to go for it.
So I did.
Near where I made my descent into the 'water' I found a large stick, awesome, a trekking pole. The wildlife didn't want anything to do with me and flew off..... Aaaaand deeper I go. With a few mud clenching, struggling steps, holding my backpack up out of the H2O, I was soon there, up on dry land again, got my phone out, wandered over and quickly made the discovery, well, that wasn't hard. But I had looked at the spoiler anyway beforehand. Aha.
At the deepest point I think the water was at my belly button, but I'm pretty short.
I opened it up to an ant farm. But so much joy was running through my veins.
I didn't stay at GZ for as long as I could have, I felt a bit odd being alone, so I took some happy snaps and headed back.
My shoes went straight in the bin, after taking photos of how scummy and saturated they were.
They could have been worth saving, but I didn't want them in the car with me, it was no loss.
I asked the muggles if they wanted to swap shoes with me on my return but they weren't keen.
Appreciate the unloved days this one has given me but now that I have done it, I can recommend it to others- GO FOR IT FELLOW CACHERS. So much fun.
Thank you for bringing me here and allowing me to claim a smiley. Beautiful location. Phenomenal treasure hunt.
Took- The TB.
Left- Geo-card.
A nice size.
Fav point added.
It was my 2nd find and my target for the day.
I felt quite accomplished sitting on my towel in my Geo-vehicle after completing this one.
Cheers & T.F.T.C =]
Safe travels and hoppy caching!

Well the girls have been nagging us to do this one for six months. We waited until summer in the hope the water level would be lower. Armed with old runners and a towel we decided today was the day. After walking around for 15 mins to find the shallowest point, we sent dad in to make the find. It wasn't long and he held it up for all of us to see. It was then time to wade back out (suprisingly it wasn't that deep and he didn't even get his long cargo shirts wet). A great cache and one we can now cross off our 'must do' list.
Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, Plenty of tree climping and water wading tonight. Thanks homerjay73 for the cache.
Did this cache at night about 9pm. Having read the description and accounting for recent rain, geobrother and I came with two blow up boats. We did not account for the winds! Cheap blow up boats with short oars and strong winds are now a good idea! Managed to get to GZ to find the cache crawling with hundreds of ants and most of the toys/items covered with ants or filled with ants nest. Signed log and struggled back over! Very fun cache, thank you!
Lots of fun to complete this cache, I've driven past with Marty and Alan at two different stages, both times we were unprepared for the crossing. I put on some old sneakers and ended up having to wade in water a bit past my knees. Always fun to take on a cache that takes a little bit of preparation and discomfort.
Been meaning to do this for a little under a year now. I am so glad that this has stayed in working order, most likely the fact that it is co owned by Lead Scout.
Will be attempting this soon.
Will be attempting this soon.
Thanks for the find! .I dropped of a trackable and took a toy car and left a soft toy in replacement. Thanks again and good luck to other geocachers

Unfortunately I drew the short straw and ended up the MCBC one among us. The cache was found. The log was signed. If you pick the right spot, the water is no deeper than your knees.
Came by in my work lunchtime a couple of weeks ago and waded in up to my undies got wet. Thought I'd better stop there and ever since have been planning to come back with drjim7. Today was reasonably warm and we had some time in the afternoon so we came back with our bathers. We determined the shallowest bit on the satellite. Jim waded and I swam a bit. Found the nice big cache which was a bit open but all was in good condition, except there were a few ants inside. Signed the log and sealed it all up again. I'm really glad you didn't archive this one homerjay. Happy to favourite it too.
Gooey mud between the toes - ahh! At least no broken glass cut my feet. Found the big cache with the lid open a few metres north of where I expected it to be. The odd muggle was circling the lake and we ceased our cache hunting while they passed us. The water is a greeny brown and doesn't attract many bathers I suspect. Maybe summer will flush them out. Good on you homerjay for keeping this one active.
43 out of 44 active homerjay caches archived on the 13th of October. Look like you missed this one Homer.
Tried to cheat and get over in an excavator. Unfortunately it got bogged. There is plenty of working around here at the moment with these so it didn't look out of place during the day. Shall try again another day. Maybe the proper way I should this time.
My normal night job looking for possums wasn't happening and I felt the urge to have a wash....... I know I will give this cache a go to pass the time. Arrived at the site. Little bit shallow near the triglochin plants but where soon fully submerged and splashing around. Squeezing water through the dreads. It was the cleanest I felt in such a long time. Suddenly their was a voice. Hey strange dreadlocked creature have you got the cache yet. Ok maybe their wad other words used but soon amygvsl and co representatives where in and the cache was retrieved and the log signed. Nice to have met you both Tftc tnln
Found @20:18 in the company of Paul_the_Hippy.
The first cache of this terrain I have attempted, and I hope to have a decent break before attempting another one like it - but one I will certainly always remember. We weren't planning on attempting this one just yet, but we couldn't miss out on the invite to watch Paul make a fool of himself.
Now that I am home, my shoes have been thrown out and I am showered, I can log thanks for the cache & good luck to anyone else whose brave enough to find it!

*FTF* with C@H... After joint with Covert at "Hidden Staircase" we headed up north towards the RingRoad, then this one published like clockwork.. We summed up the options.. I donned inappropriatee attire and made my way over to GZ.. Covert soon followed, and we signed the log after a prolonged search.. (I suspect I passed GZ initially with my torch off). Eventually my GPS settled and I had a "Oh Dear" moment.... Thanks HomerJay and Lead Scout for another great cache.. find #2104
Joint *FTF* with Spladem. This cache was the next FTF we where going to try for. On the drive over we tried to get the best intel we could on the cache and a few aerial photo's told us all we needed. It was muggle free at night but not planning for this type of cache had us a bit exposed... Well worth the trip and a fun cache to do expectantly. Only FTF prize we got was the surprise of "Oh it's there ...". A fun adventure non the less. TFTC
