Found a pretty obvious location where a hide could have been made but couldn't turn anything up
Couldn't find this one, pretty sure we were in the right area as we bumped into some fellow cachers, one of whom had found this particular cache on a previous occasion, and confirmed it was not in the same spot, might want to check on this one
Was visiting the area for work and had time to kill so geocaching was on the cards. We have been involved with Gymsports for some years now and my son started training as a trampolinist but our gym in tauranga doesn't have the facilities for comp. Both my son and wife are qualified gym coaches and I have helped too. I haven't seen in the gym here but my wife attended a coaching course here and was blown away by the facilities here. Very lucky. Anyway, another cache to find. Thanks for bringing me here.
Will have to bring the kids back here, they'll love the ducks! We found it pretty easily, it was starting to rain and there weren't many people about.
Not as simple as we thought (was crawling around in the tunnel for a couple minutes). Well hidden. Tftc
Lovely day out in the park, tempting to visit the local Big Top but caches to find ! Nice easy find - thankfully.

Rain cleared momentarily to allow me to quickly grab this one. Container a little damaged so added a plastic bag for the log and left a few angry birds . TFTC
Headed to this cache after picking up the eldest niece after school. I pointed the niece in the right direction and we soon both spotted the cache. TFTC!
An easy find. Had to go up to Auckland so it was a good chance to add some more geocaches to our total.
TFTC.

I was in the area after going for a Sunday drive and decided to collect some geocaches. This was a quick and easy find even though there was a nearby sleeping muggle. TFTC!
I was distracted by the obvious spot, but the cache was not hidden there. I found the cache after expanding my search area. XNSL. TFTC.
Found it this time. The first time I came muggles were having a picnic nearby. Tftc
Came over for the Auckland 9s with kram sirron and strebor enahs (the CO for this cache). My 2nd cache for NZ TFTC.
Unfortunately could not find. Live in Addison so know the area well. Had a strong idea where it should have been but could not locate!
Took a wee while to find this one as we were not looking in quite the right place, but once found we realised the clue was obvious. Container may need replacing.
found as part of team stik-a-crane now logging under my own name ... I was there to help make the find but wanting a map and history of my own unique kind.
nice hide - multiple things inside - took a white ambulance jeep toy left symbol of peace and friendship #3- container cracked
Out and about with the Future Finder bringing up 2000 finds. Peered in and soon detected the hide. Container has a large crack in it and should really be replaced. Otherwise, cheers for the cache placement!
Got mislead with some similar surroundings but found it in the end with Steph303. Haha. TFTC.
Much easier too find using paperless technology, lets say, I was easily confused by similar surroundings. Another cache with kimber101
We are up in Auckland for weekend from Rotorua for my sisters birthday . Doing a few caches nearby before we go home.
Nice and easy that one, grabbed TB.

My mega NZ MEGA 2013 Trip!! Split into two halves - first, the journey up, and then the second half was the actual MEGA time.
This was the second half. After relocating a rental car to get up here, I now had 6 days in Auckland.
Last day to be out and about!! Eeek!! So we were quickly just collecting some last minute caches on this side of town before heading over to the airport. I think it's been a pretty successful caching trip! Collected quite a few (over 350), and surpassed the #3500 milestone! yaaay!!!
Eventually we got it... busy spot.
Sorry about the not as epic logs - but otherwise I would still be logging till Christmas - and that's Christmas 2014 I mean! Haha.
TFTC!!

Had to relax for a while letting muggles galore pass by, then finally retrieved the cache - TFTC!!
Out for a MEGA day of geocaching with Earthbound Chief & Co. This one took a little while to locate as the clue put us off. Eventually found it though. TFTC.
Made this one much harder than it should have been. Dropped off a TB. TFTC

The hint showed us where to look, but we had to wait out a couple of muggles, before Kaisho53 went in.
This is Day 5 of our trip to the Land of the Long White Cloud for the 2013 NZ MEGA event in Auckland. I joined Gunnie69 and Kaisho53 for a fun packed 5 days of geocaching adventures. The last day started in the north near the mega site and make our way back to the airport, and then a plane home.

After arriving in the very convenient car park, Kaisho53, Ghostgums and I noticed a young female muggle immediately in front of us and looking directly toward us. Hmm... She was partially playing with her phone (as they do) but was spending a bit of time staring through the window at what ever was happening...
We moved in to GZ though and a casual search began. Kaisho53 was quick to locate the container and bring it out for business. We added our details to the log and tucked everything back in place. All done, we made our way back to the car and moved on. I wonder what she was thinking as all this unfolded under her eyes...
Cheers StreborEnahs

An easy find after only a few minutes of looking. A father/son muggle team a little further away had the full attention of the ducks so we had the GZ to ourselves.

After many attempts I broadened my horizons and there it was. Container is a bit cracked.
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 2. With rain coming and going and a big event on all was quiet out by the lake. A bit of a scramble, but a nice find. Thanks.

Nothing there but a whole lot of rubbish. Owner might need to check it. Helicopters took off while we were search. Very cool!
We found a yellow/green yoyo type container with fresh paper in it - not sure if the original cache got washed away?
Maybe found it, we found a unique container with the piece of paper left by previous geocacher. Definitely needs a look in from its owner as I'm not sure its the right container and only a scrap of paper. Lovely pond and another geocache just 350m away.
Is in a possibly make shift container with only a scrap of paper. Needs a look in from the owners to put it back on the right track.
The container is cracked, and won't last long like that....needs a mores sturdy container.
I can't believe it...when I came last time I was search the completely wrong area!!! HAHAHA...how did that happen! I was searching round the wrong pipe!!
Found this one very easily....sat down, enjoyed the sun while signing the log

I think I found the same container as the previous logger. Certainly seemed to fit the hint. I added some paper for the log. TFTC, Biggles.
Nice easy find, plenty of new development happening in the area, new roads and a new hall, great.

Found a green & yellow container with nothing in it. No marking to show it is the cache?
A impressive looking stadium going up across the lake! The area was quiet this morning which made hunting easy. Found with help from the hint.
The cache container has a crack in it which will mean dampness will get in over time.
Many thanks

Did a little maintenance as the vegetation was insufficient..... a super tight container would find a nice niche alongside the hint, but this container has a crack and so will not last long..... TFTC. Hope it stays as this is a nice place!
Only had a quick look as on my way to an appointment. Found what I thought might have been its home. Will try again another day
My son was playing soccer across the road. Came to find after his game, but this is the second time we were not able to find. We will try when in the area again.
Found on an evening walk good view good find even found fellow geochaches after this one
After poking and prodding around for ages we couldn't find it anywhere. The local "Quakers" were no help at all!
On our way to hunua falls to do some caching, thought we would do a quick drive by first. Unfortunately we didn't come up successful. Found the likely hiding spot, but no cache to be seen. Think it has been muggled.
Had a good round in the dark, with hardcorepawn who had previously found it, we couldn't locate this cache.
