Nice easy find. Lovely to stop and actually look properly at these memorials. TFTC.
A lovely spot. Coords way out, but found it in the end.

878 - Found with Justmeg2 on our way back from Oakura beach today. The waves looked great, even in the rain and I'm looking forward to being back there on April 21 for the CITO event.
The co-ordinates were quite a bit off so put GPS aside and used hint. Soon had cache in hand. Very glad as it was raining. I sure hope this solid rain finds its way south! TFTC

the dog loved a little run around in the rain while trackt this one down. the hint is most helpful. tftc
Cords were a a bit out, but we used our combined mental skills to find it, thanks for this one
First of day. Trip down surf highway. At least the cache name is more accurate than gps.
A hot and breezy day, so I took the Spyder for a ride down State highway 45, the Surf highway. First stop Omata, and a quick find. Signed log, thanks for the cache.
Didn't take too long to find this one (using the hint) despite the coords being 20+ metres off. TFTC!!!
Quick find on way back into town after doing 1st Maori Land Wars multi. Found with Rog and Bron(Their first trad cache find) TFTC
A nice quick find with the hint. Unfortunately The co-ords were ~ 20m out. Its always good to pause at these war memorials to remember those who bravely fought and died for our country. TFTC.
Nice to visit these memorials
Co-ordinates 18 metres out, but an easy find with the hint.
I feel that you could have spelt HONOUR correctly (We are not Americans here).
These men died for New Zealand and as part of the British Empire where we have a U in Honour.

Found on our trip around Mt Taranaki from New Plymouth to Hawera and around the Surf Hwy 45.
Thanks for the hide and the really easy find!

Hi from Tauranga... Always interesting to see where the trail leads. Cache soon found. TFTC
Found it. So close to home, yet we had never really noticed the area when passing. TFTC:)
Found on our trip home from the snow - with a detour to CANZ Matawatu & Taranaki...
As I was saying on another cache. It's really sad how many of these memorials there are. One for every village pretty much. And so many names on them. That's a lot of lives lost. Poor families of those soldiers.
Thanks for bringing us here to pay our respects.
Cache was easily as found once we read the hint ae. It's quite hard to keep in its spot, and a wee bit more rain may wash it out?
TFTC!!

A quick find just as the sun was setting over the horizon. A spot we've noticed many times while passing, but had never stopped. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC.
On a visit "home" from Christchurch, and my Mum offered to take me out and about for some caches.
Grabbed this one on the way home from a cache further out.
It had come out from its hiding place so tucked wee under when I rehid it.
Just as well I read the hint as my GPS was pointing me about 25m further towards the church

Additional data added to information - church at site has just been put forward for historic registration.
A quick find. There wasn't too much traffic passing on a Monday afternoon. I am sure some people must have wondered waht I was up to though.
Couple of comments about location versus coordinates - will try and "relocate" on my GPS some stage this week to double check same and adjust if required......
Pleased to see so many finds though, glad I placed this one here!

Found from hint but Co-ords a little out I read it as this- S39 05.464 E 174 01.226 with 4 satellites
Was in New Plymouth for work and when I finished I decided that I would pick up a few caches before I headed back home to Wellington. Saw this cache on my GPS and thought to myself that this was going to be a very interesting cache to do as it was getting later in the day and the muggles were starting to appear a bit more and working out where this cache was I was thinking to myself that this could be quite a mission, arriving near GZ I had to go up the road a bit and then turn down a side road and then drive around the block before coming back around and finding a carpark only a few metres from the monument. I thought to myself as I was walking over to GZ that this could be either a very quick and easy or a very long and difficult find, arriving at GZ I started my search and was quite surprise that I was able to find the cache in the first spot that I looked. What a nice little monument thanks for placing a cache here and for bringing me to this lovely spot, it is always important to have something to remind us of the pass and hopefully that we will remember and not forget so that we don't commit the same errors in the future, TFTC TNTNSL (4246)
Completed a few caches in the area today, nice and easy.
Thanks for setting this up.

A good easy find, hadnt loaded it in the gps but saw the memorial as we went past and just stopped for a look. many thanks TFTC
Driven past this spot hundreds of times and never noticed what stood here. Took some time to read all the names before getting down to the business of geocaching.
Cool cache, and another FTF.
