Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Checked it and yes, unfortunately it's gone. I'll have to decide with the kids whether to re-stock it or perhaps choose a new spot.
Definetly gone would say that it has been muggled and it should be temperately disabled.

Had the area to ourselves, so did a through search and did not find the cache. Possibly gone?
Out for a morning walk, and found this one after a while. First container found with cardboard. Rehid a gnome nearby to.
Ou second visit to this little playground. This time it was so much easier except for the young girl practicing her basketball at the hoop next door. Made it a bit tricky. Can't say I've seen a cache container like this before. Pleased it's in a zip bag.
Thanks nevster for showing us an area so close to Pennant Hills Road that we have never visited.

Our first find on a day of fun with all the GeoFamily. All the GeoKids playing, looking, probing and then GeoSon 'D' said "I found it" and has CIH. TFTC
After 2 previous failed attempts, it was an obligatory fund on the way home tonight.
Yep it is all back. SL TFTC

Ok, I've fixed it up. Sure enough, it wasn't there. Had a hunt around and found it over the fence down in the corner. I suspect a cat or vermin got it due to its state - coins and everything else were still in tact. Thanks for the heads-up.
Sorry to put up the NM, however after contacting a previous finder, and confirming the type of container it was, it sounds like one that really might not last, and one that is pretty straight forward.
Could a check be done on this just in case please. If it is gone, this might be the best chance for a different, smaller, more durable container?

Arrived in the early evening and thought that without any muggles around this would be straight forward. No such luck. Stuck around for about 15 minutes trying to avoid the locals wandering around mainly walking their dogs.
Next time!?
Next time!?
Don't know if if I was taking the hint too literally and concentrating my search on where I thought it should be but no luck.
A granny-muggle was playing with her dog on the grass nearby, but she didn't care for what I was doing.
Found it in the second place I looked.
It also unfortunately reminded me of our current federal Labor leader.
TFTC anyhow.

Arrived to find the dreaded playground cache unoccupied...which was a welcome relief, so without delay, I headed off to GZ and quickly located the cache. When I grabbed the container...I was almost dumbfounded...I thought a shoe box for a cache container was bad...but this is up there with that.

We arrived a GZ just as a mum and her young son arrived to play on the equipment, we explained what we were up to, and she expressed an interest in geocaching as both she and her husband were into orienteering. I left the net address for the game with her, so we may have a new set of cachers here.
Thanks nevster, a quick and easy find.

After the geosons soccer match nearby we stopped by. The geogirls were happy to play on the play equipment. Ninjaflower made the find. Being shorter made it easier I dont mind these caches in a playground. I just have to plan and bring the geokids. They always love them. TFTC.
Found it as it is in my 10 km radius and want to try to clear that. Otherwise I would not bother with a cache actually in a playground.
Another day on the streak. Nine weeks down now! On the home stretch.
This should have been easier at night, but I missed it! A friend said try harder! I did and got it at the second sweep!?!

Having completed a number larger size caches of all sizes we though we would grab a micro for the run home to complete s full sweep on container sizes. Upon arriving at the play ground the had a few muggles that were just packing up so the kids did the play on the equipment and then with the muggles gone the kids made an easy find. We did the puzzle on the back, complted the signing dutied and replaced. TFTC
I would normally steer clear of children's playgrounds, but I was with a group and in the area so went for it. Interesting hide. TFTC
First one on a successful night of caching with Ang_g. TFTC. Would like to try this during the day..

Dusk and an empty playground brings joy to this geocacher's heart. Found in second spot I put my hand. Interesting variation on a container, but I like it. Thanks nevster.

I came past yesterday needing a find, and noticed that the playground was empty. Then as soon as I got out of the car and walked over, 2 sets of muggles and their kids walked in as well. I had to retreat, as I don't like playground caches that much at the best of times.
Today, I came back and again it was empty. I quickly started searching, and finally the hint started to maek sense, so I checked some other places and BAM, found the cache nice and dry. SL, TNLN and replaced. Thanx nevster, TFTC.

We had the park to ourselves for a quick find. We always wonder how the kids never stumble across caches hidden like this but some how they don't! TFTC.
I work at the nearby San Hospital and decided to try and find this one during my lunch break. Quite a good walk across the valley, over the river up to Apple Park. Found the cache, TNLN and signed log. Thanks very much for the good walk!
Can't say that I'm a supporter of playground caches.... as I'm not.
Anyway, found with jenmen on a wet /drizzly day which meant that the park was empty.
Its a shame that the shops are not a thriving little hub
I suspect that there is an opportunity here for the right entrepreneurial establishment.
Interesting container. Can't see it lasting long (Reminds me of a a similar one I found in LA, USA, however the climate there is somewhat different.)

Found with Rogpol on a drizzly wet day.
Cache was a quick find.
Playground caches bother me ...stranger danger etc but today with the rain, there were no children around and no-one in the streets either.
No-one around at all.. except for the two ladies in the hairdressers!
What a pity the other shops aren't being used. Must have been a lovely little community once.

Didn't actually need a find for today but a FTF is always hard to pass up a mere 1.3 km from home! Had to make my excuses and headed off along roads I've walked on my morning walk many times over the years. Not walking today though with all the rain. It's a funny little shopping centre here where I parked, not much going on. Went into the playground which happily was muggle free due to the rain and found the cache in the third place I looked. Well someone would have to be quick to beat me to this one at 1201pm! *FTF* signed in first place.
Not sure how durable this container will be though, even in a bag. The much-maligned mint tin may even do a better job.
Thanks!

Found by Nanny and Bo on a drizzly Friday afternoon.
A interesting little park , next to a deserted shopping strip.
Well done.

Do the "usual suspects" have jobs? Cache visible from 11.40, FTF by 12.00, and by 4pm when we made it we were only fourth to find. There I was thinking that the combination of interminable rain and a Friday would give me scope to be FTF... Congrats to the other 3 groups
The little shopping centre next door looks like it has had better days, but provides convenient parking. GeoKid(7) thinks the playground is "good", so we may need to return on a better day.
Found the container quickly due to a good hint and a visible bag; I agree that it may not last. TNLN, signed the log, solved the puzzle then hid the container better. TFTC

Found on a dark, wet night. Actually a most appropriate time for this location. Nice to see the old container. It should go to a museum in a few years but I doubt it's long for this world now.
Hi,
I'm the owner of Apple Park. Thanks for the log messages everyone!
Just wanted to say thanks to fdaswq for re-hiding the cache, the new location is much better - no chance sightings by small kids down on the ground! I've also put a rubber band around it.

Yet another dreaded playground cache to make the single male cachers look dodgy . Luckily it was raining so no kids about. Looked in every likely spot even after reading hint. Didn't want to stay too long though.
