Spent half hour looking but don't want to hang out here all day as I'm only visiting the area.
GPS was very jumpy and with no lead as to where and what to look for this could take a lot more time and effort.
Tftc anyway

Was at my sisters new house very close to here so decided to have a look for this one but while walking over here while reading the logs it really needs to be under maintenance/disabled if even the CO can't find it. So I aborted the mission and went off to a different cache.
Went looking for it the other day couldn't find it
looks like I might have to go for another look and if I can't find it will have to try making a new one

When everyone is saying that the co-ords are out and even the cache owner is encouraging you to widen the search it sort of takes all the fun out of the hunt in an area haystacked with hiding places.
I agree with the opposite site comment made by previous cachers. TFTH. Signed log.
This is another cache Pea bear & I have been meaning to do for a long time. Passing the area we decided to stop & have a look. Thought we had lost our mojo after not finding anything resembling a hide at GZ. Then after reading some previous logs we turned our attention to the opposite side & bingo, the very unusual container was found. Very well hidden. Thanks Ryan.J.E for the cache.
Passing through the area today with BorisB&Natasha, looked up nearby caches that we hadn't found yet and this was on the list. Nice little walk to GZ where the search began. Was starting to feel a little disheartened so decided to look through recent logs, That helped a lot as the GPS had us searching on the wrong side of the track. Was just about to get carried away by mosquitos when we finally found the cleverly hidden cache. Thanks Ryan.J.E for the cache.
We couldn't find this cache at stated co-ords, searched high and low and widened the search area but no joy. We were a bit confused as the cache description says it's a micro but a previous cacher says he gathered up the contents after it having been muggled by kids, so we weren't sure what type of container we were lookIng for but we kept our options open and looked for both.
Merann.

The local kids had found this cache and spread the contents around a bit but I put it all together and hid it in the same spot. I even removed a few nasty blackberry stems. It is amazing how those thing bite!! Thanks Ryan.J.E.
Love this cache! Got to walk through a part of town that I didn't even know existed. TFTC
So happy to find it after second attempt
Thanks Ryan.J.E for the cache
Great hide and cache

Great hide and cache
This one took a while but geo kid triumphed in the end. Tftc reminiscent of one over in Daylesford.
Spent a while the first time without success. This time with jcody, and her uncanny ability to see around corners, the cache was quickly found
Searched for a while for this one, then just ignored GPS and found it somewhere that had already been looked at. Nice container. Thanks for the cache.
Parked in a very busy nearby street - seems someone was having a party with a blow-up castle and all that. Read the cache notes and followed the track into the reserve, GPS indicated that a nice patch of prickle-bushes marked GZ. Hesitant to go that way I searched around a while, walked the path, and looked around, not finding the cache I braved the prickle bushes (as others had done before me looking at some of the trampled grass) and still did not find the cache. I read some of the logs here and cache notes again, making the assumption that no bush-trampling should be required to find this cache. After nearly giving up several times I felt rather than saw the cache and was amazed at what and where it was. Contents were a little damp, but was able to sign it and return it to it's place.
We (GeoKidlet Blake & Myself) where in Somerville and had picked this one up yet. I must admit this wasn't our first visit, on our first visit we search GZ high and low with no luck. This time armed with a small hint from previous finder & caching buddy we got to GZ search a good 10mins a found it, signed log and replaced as found. Great cache and I have never seen anything like this as a cache very original TFTC
Loved this cache. Nicely hidden. TFTC.

What a great container, it was very inventive! The rain had stopped when I started to look for the cache, and after about 10 minutes of staring at various trees, I widened my search area and spotted it. It was a little hard to open, this was because the log was caught in the thread with the edge of it outside the container. Unfortunately the log was completely soaked. Thanks Ryan.J.E for the cache.
Well folks, all that flattened bush is a distraction from the true direction. Don't go there, don't add to it. I was getting quite 'wild' till I stopped and thought about something like Warby Springs (not exactly it turns out) and then I got the 'cherry' prize. An ingenious cache.
The kids and I had not alot to do this mother's day weekend so I decided we would spend the night in Hastings and do some caching in the area. The kids were so excited they eached packed a full suitcase each for just one night away, but at least I knew we had plenty of spare clothes just in case we had to walk through water, got muddy, dusty (not with all that rain) or even sandy. It was a great weekend away with the kids and we had a lot of fun. We collected a few caches and built some sand castles here and there. thanks for this cache.
We arrived at GZ and found a very flattened area of bush, so were sure we were in the right spot. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the cache though. It had started to rain too, so with waning enthusiasm we left it for another day. Perhaps you could check it's still there? Thanks anyway.
We looked for this on a rainy day and all the bush around was flattened. We spent ages looking as we dont give up easily, but couldnt find it anyway. Thanks for the cache anyway.
I spent far too long looking for this one! I was just about the leave for the third time, when I reassessed and looked wider without the GPSr. I then found the well constructed hide.
With a signal that seemed to constantly send me into the scrub, and I note that many have had a similar experience, there is now extensive damage to the local flora. Perhaps a hint is needed to minimise the destruction ... TFTC

After picking up Rigger64 for an afternoons caching, this one was the first on the list. We arrived in a familiar area where we The Swaggies have cached before, parked in the same spot and headed up the trail. On the way saw some beautiful birds and at the end we made an easy find. Certainly a better cache container than the last one one that you had and if it had not been for all the geo trashing of the bush we would probably have taken a bit longer, Thanks for the cache Ryan.

Find # 1518
Another fine Autumn morning and time for a traditional caching run with my caching partner in crime sedgwickDave. The plan was to head towards Hastings grabbing some caches on the way. I had just taken possession of a new Garmin Montana 650T gpsr and was very keen to test it out.
I noticed I had two caches very close to each other on my map but did a refresh and noticed the other was archived. This one took quite a while and the GPS was directing me to a spot which turned out to be in the middle of some spiky plants. Dave moved out to the track again and re checked the co ords and soon had the well camoed cache in hand.
Thanks to Ryan.J.E for the hide.

Today was on another epic cache run with best mate ahomburg with our intention to clear out the remaining unfound caches in the Hastings and surrounding areas. This run resulted in 33 finds and 3 DNFs for me a new record for number of finds for " a non-power trail" run in a single day.
Parked near by and made the short walk into GZ where it took around 10mins to find. The GPS was wandering a bit and after reading the cache description I had another idea on the possible hide and "Zing" there it was. Nice container.
I really hate those pickle bush/shrubs at GZ[:(!]

Found it after a little it of searching. Kids were thrilled. Nicely hidden in a different sort of container.
Took my two boys out to do some shopping this arvo in Somerville and made a little detour to pick up the cache. We parked at the end of the court and made the short stroll down to GZ. No muggles about on this lovely afternoon and the cache was quickly found and the log signed. Thanks for the cache Ryan.J.E.
Catch up Log: Found on a short caching outing as always enjoyed the race to find TFTC
Found eventually!! Took some searching for and then I just noticed something and on closer inspection, yes it was the cache! Thanks for a clever hide. Oh, and I captured up a munzee on the way in!
My GPS had me centred on an area where there had clearly been lots of cachers before. I had found the previous Rhino cache before and remembered that it wasn't merely placed in the long grass. This didn't feel right. I stepped back and extended my search and Bingo! There it was, you clever boy. Nice hide. Although, can this be called a hide? There it is. Right there. T4TC
After being muggled out of another nearby cache we decided to come have a go at this one. Found by the youngest geodaughter who some of you know as Rhiua who is always the reluctant one to get out of the car, but as the walk was only 60m she decided she could handle it. TFTC Ryan.J.E
Out today on a last minute outing. Team Morno today consisting of Hazey1, Bigea12, geobat2000 and myself on a quick run to pick up the orphan caches in this area that have been missed or have been published since I cleared the area.
Nasty, evil spikey bushes nearby! As green as we all try to be, nothing that a good D9 wouldnt cure.

TFTC, Joint find "Team Morno" today consisting of Saulman1010, Bigea12, geobat2000 and myself. Nice and simple find, once GPS settled and our cache radar came to life.
*FTF* Having been here before for another FTF form the owner I new exactly where to park so I drove right to the same spot again. I even parked in the same place and made a quick walk to the cache. I was at a pool party when this was published and had to rush out with no equipment but my iPhone. I got close to GZ to find a torch light. It was Zombie Dogs, they had beaten me to the location but not found the cache. A quick hello then the search began. Soon I had my hands on the clever containers before having more of a chat with the Zombiedogs. There quick and I will be singing a log book in second place after them very soon if they keep up this pressure. TFTC
Reading the cache's description on route & I knew exactly what to look for. I had done the cache in question **TOP HIDE** - nice advantage to have BUT I knew very well I'll be right behind the menace FTF'er (covert) nevertheless I pushed on and made it to GZ with good time where a nicely placed hide was detected. Signed log and admired the peacefulness of the reserve.
Thx again Ryan - Nice hide!!

Having made a new year's resolution to log at least one cache a day this year, ZombieDog #3 and I (ZD#1) were about to head out to do some night caching for today's find(s). ZombiePuppy was snoring away and ZD#2 was being tucked into bed when the mobile rang...of course it was ZD#3 from the living room "hurry up putting your wife to bed - there's a new cache published". In hind sight i THINK i said goodnight before we dashed out the door. Of course there was no petrol in the CacheMobile...but we decided to risk it. Having just picked up Rhino's caches a few weeks ago we knew where to go - zoomed over, parked and headed into the darkness, no other cars around. We were admiring the size of some of the local spiders when C@H showed up - apparently he was hosting a Pool Party, but evidently that's no barrier to getting a FTF Within a minute the cache was in hand and we loitered briefly to see if anyone else would arrive - got some good tips from C@H about all the good GeoYak caches - gotta get me one of those, though it would have been pretty useless tonight. A lovely joint FTF, perfect weather...then we headed out for the rest of our planned night caching! TFTC!
