Nice and easy find after a couple of hours chilling with our doggie along the beach. Coords are spot on for this one. Our little holiday is coming to an end, but yeah, nice to have collected a few caches along the way. TFTC!
Found it but no way was I putting my hand in there with that amount of web and being in a foreign country from the UK....hoping the attempts with sticks count!!
Thanks for your amazing cache surf5a. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with AquagirlieCheers, Cympull.
With the assistance of my two Welsh relatives we found it, but no pen to sign log.
Great spot. On Cooks visiting family. Thought I would grab a couple of caches while I waited for them. TFTC
Today I walked around the pathway and detected the bix right st its coordinates. Tftc from macajoh
We loved the walk. We came all the way from Whitianga. It was well hidden but we found it.It's a good idea to bring a pen. We couldn't sign bc we forgot one.
Found while exploring the local area. What a lovely bay. Thank you for hiding cache for me to find. Most beautiful country.
We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our third stop after Los Angeles and Hawaii is New Zealand.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Today we were searching for the Traditional **River Reserve (Coromandel)**
Thank to the Hints and the good coordinates the little box was found quickly!
After signing the logbook there is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank surf5a for creating and maintaining this Traditional.
Greetings from Nuermberg/Germany

P.S. To save space in the logbooks, we not only enter in sequence, but also in empty spaces between.

After taking the ferry from Whitianga across the harbour, we made our way towards Cooks beach for a picnic lunch. A quick find here before stopping to enjoy the sunny Winters day on the beach. We watched a family using a kayak to take a longline out deep. Another family tooted the car horn and the line was dropped into the sea and the kayaker returned to the beach. A short time later the line was hauled in with a few snappers attached. TFTC
Great little explore. The satellite sent us off in a few different directions but we found it in the end. Good easy find once we had the right tree.
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up in Whitianga for the next few days … we took the ferry across to the other side of the harbour & then went for a walk … thought it would be rude to not to check out a couple of caches while out & about … this one was an easy find, completed the log & replaced it … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,788 for us.
Up in cooks beach for a week and we had a great bike ride this morning - in the rain for the first hour exploring and picking up a few caches. Great spot here, TFTC
I got on my ebike to come and do this one from where I had left my snail shell.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
First time in area with muggle family, went to grab TB, but is not there. I'll be back at sometime. Cheers
Did not look for very long though as it's near the edge of the parking area. As usual, surrounding views and walks were well worth while.
Snagged and tagged this oen on our way past. Cheers.
Day 9 - Boxing Day - Saturday 26 December - Whitianga - Cooks Beach - Tairua. So lets go exploring.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are off on another geocaching escape over Xmas, this time to the mighty Coromandel, then over to Opotiki and stop off at Rotorua to return home on 5 January. Had an fabulous time exploring many wonders of our country. Rounding up over 400 caches along the way, with a few LABS, 20 odd TMGTs, virtuals and lots of interesting earth caches to keep the mind busy. Watching the sun come up on New Years Day at Mt Maunganui was spectacular. Lots of walking and even more driving. But had an awesome time. Thanks to all COs who made this adventure so special.

Taybeedragon and I went on a tour of the Coromandel - one of the few places of New Zealand, especially of Te ika a Maui, that I have yet to explore throughly, and from there along the coast to Opotiki to see one of my many, many sisters. From 18 December to 5 January we found over 400 caches, including 12 adventure labs (60 caches), 20 or so TMGTs and a host of virtuals and earthcaches. And I hosted an event to see the sun come up on New Year's day - surprisingly popular given that it was at 5am. We climbed a lot of hills, saw some amazing beaches that were quite popular despite (or because of) the insane access to them, walk a lot of bush, entered and explored 8 gold mines and generally had an awesome time. However I am glad to be back, but now is the hard part, and I fear it will take just as long - logging!
We're travelling around in a rented campervan (it's okay: I know where my mirrors are, I use them, and I pull over often ). Day one was Christchurch to Auckland to Matamata. Day two, Hobbiton then off to Rotorua. Day three, was a trip to "The Squeeze" with NZ Riverjet, a *very* quick trip to Huka Falls (bucketing down, we didn't see much), and the Adventure Lab at Kuirau Park.
Today we visited the Redwood forest the drove to Cooks Beach in the Coromandel (a bit of a drive in a camper)! Loving the trip, and finding a few select caches.
This was one of two finds at Cooks Beach (along with two DNFs). A bit of a mixed bag. At least this was an easy find, once I got myself to GZ in jandals!

Another quick find while the smallest cachers had a swing. Gorgeous evening for our first explore here. TFTC!
I stayed in Whitianga, but went over to Cook's Beach today to redeem some DNFs from our Christmas trip in 2017. I'm not sure how I missed this cache the last time I was here. TFTC.
