I'm sad to say, yes it's gone This cache had nearly 4 good years. I'm sad that is has been pinched, but I don't know anyone who eats mints any more, so I won't be replacing this one
This cache appears to have been taken had a good search around 20 metres in all directions of GZ, NOTHING but dry grass and couple of small trees
Sadly I have to say DNF here today but looking at other logs, it does appear that the cache has been taken for a ride, just how I feel, but there is others nearby, so off to find
No find for us today. We did look long and hard, four of us for a good twenty minutes, digging through the grass and all. Is it possible it's gone?
Found what looks to be a stolen bike, grass is pretty high, didn't see any case/container. But wasn't willing to dig through the high grass..
Thanks. We hate them after that! That was our 50th cache and our first ammo box! (signed log as kptwit68)
A favorite! Just hade to find out what the fun ting about this cache was. Surprise LOL! Grabbed an unlisted geocoin.
I was on a BUG ride with Ron.haha, we stopped and had good laugh at this cache and finally signing the log.
Out for a ride on a stinking hot with GraWil and a few mad muggles. This was the only cache attempted today. An easy find but what a laugh I got when I opened the cache container. A genuine treasure hunt. Definitely worth a favourite point.
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon I decided to go out and grab a few caches. It was a very tentative walk with such long grass on each side...I stomped, jangled keys, and sang to myself just to create a bit of noise! A quick find. TNLN. TFTC.
Quite an enjoyable hike through the reserve to get this one. Flies are bloody annoying though. What's with the goal posts on the golf driving range?
Hahahahahahahahahahhahahaha. TFTC. Log book was almost full and a tad difficult to extract, may need replacing and/or wrapping in plastic? TFTC and the laugh
thanks for the cache epic hide would have never thought of doing something like this before thanks LouiseAnn TNLN TFTC
Gee this cache made me laugh. I wasn't expecting what we found in both the size and contents. Took a wrong turn at first and almost got lost trying to park in the nearby cemetery which the kids thought hilarious. Interesting location too and will return another time to explore further and collect some of the others nearby. Cache in good condition. Thanks LouiseAnn. #89
This was the last for the day think it is exciting to have another larger cache out there and respect the work gone in to this.
I did how ever lose interest once seeing the content of the cache because it made it hard to be stealthy while digging through the content and still did not find the log.

Getting to the GZ this morning the grass was quite wet underfoot. Dampness soaks through so I undoubtedly will have pruned toes for some time yet today, but I digress...
Neat cache was quickly located and the contents - well what can I say - classic.
I have never in all my hides used these, however I do have quite a collection. I can indeed feel a sister cache to this being placed somewhere in the not too distant future.
A clever concept, well executed and again, definitely worthy of a favourite. I even dropped a PT in there... Somewhere... Good luck!
TFTC!
(Log is however almost full, so it may be worth a trip to change this over in the not too distant future)

Not a geocache I'd like to tread towards in summer! Brilliant concept at gz though, maybe I'm a little out of it today but totally took me by surprise! Tftc
We had an idea what this might be and given the number of fav pts headed over. A little wet under foot and the hide was soon found. Thankfully this was a reg and not a large. We set to work and nearing the end of the pile made the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

Loved this one - great idea! Wasn't sure what to expect before opening the container though.... TFTC!

Out picking up solved puzzles with half of daznjaneo today, when janeo mentions "There's one near here with lots of fav points". So a slight detour and we're soon heading to gz where we soon see the reason for the favs. Great work LouiseAnn! Another fav point here.

After finishing my work meetings for the day I had time to go and find a few more caches before heading back to my hotel. Hmm, I wondered what I would find on opening this cache... Aaah yes a real tribute indeed. I have found a couple like this and I am glad to say I was able to eventually sign the log. Dropped in a trackable too - I wonder if anyone will find it? TFTC, Biggles.
We found this cache today at 3:20pm as number 13 of 17 on our LaTrobe Lark. After looking at the map on the best way to tackle the last 5 for the day, we decided to start at this one and walk in. Second last in the box for the record. Reminds us of a cache near Portland Oregon which is only a couple of hundred metres from the Original Cache Stash. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
27/06/2015 Found @ 6:09 pm, Find # 4449.
While out and about searching for caches with Biggles1024 and this one was found.
We headed over to this area tonight as we haven't done a lot of caching around here.
We parked at the driving range and strolled over to GZ, Mark was there before me as I was a bit slow, by the time I arrived, Mark had already found the cache and was searching for the log, I was then lucky enough to find the log in the one and only that I picked up.
The log was signed and it was all put back.
Thanks to LouiseAnn for placing this cache.

Out with SteMicMitSar for a Saturday night run for a change. We had some unfinished business on a couple of caches but also wanted to target a couple of areas north-east of the City.
If the grass we encountered on the way to this cache was any longer, we might have disappeared, never to be heard of again. I'm glad the Joe Blakes were asleep. No trouble finding this one even in the dark but then the 'fun' began when we went looking for the log. I shan't say any more than that.
SL TFTC.

Heading off to Sydney this week, so looking for some trackables to take with me… noticed that 2c Pose & Pic had been dropped here today, so thought I'd pop around for a little night caching fun.
Fun it was! Was really curious what there was to love or hate about ammo boxes… then I opened it! Great cache - very well done! Would of been a perfect night if only the trackable was still there … sigh, must have just missed it. TFTC!

Loved this one, thanks for the giggle! And yes, geomutt is still roaming around, tho she did come and check out what I was laughing at
Found my way to GZ easily enough, located the box....and then the fun begins. It's a bit hard to open, so I'm wondering is this part of the puzzle? I faff around for a while but eventually I'm in and now I have to find the log! I'm a bit worried if a muggle comes by and sees a cyclist in the bush rummaging through an ammo box, so I try to get it done quickly, but that's not gonna work and a methodical approach is required. Finally I find the log but it won't come out. Is this the real log? Or is the CO still playing tricks on me? Finally I manage to sign the log, stash the cache and get the hell outta there. Clever CO and a great cache!!! Bit stressful but I enjoyed that.
The search only begins at finding the cache! I love it! but not necessarily 'them'.

After bush-bashing through the grass from the golf park car-park I discovered the path that I should have taken from the road. I always seem to pick the more difficult route. On locating the cache it was just what I expected. My son has a similar box under his bed. So, I "Love 'em AND Hate 'em". Thanks for the fun.
After some shopping at the new Summerhills Coles this was a perfect cache for a lovely Sunday outing with the geokids. Tftc
I can see why this has so many favourite points! At first I couldn't get the lid off and I was sincerely hoping this wasn't the hate 'em part! Once I was past this hurdle I couldn't help but giggle at the contents. Loved it - gets a favourite from me. TFTC LouiseAnn
Quick find, that what I like to see all the eclipse caches rolled into one.
But it's a pity it only counts as one.
Thanks LouiseAnn.

We were down in the big smoke for the Victorian Cache of the year awards event and after rolling into town, this one was the first cab off the rank.
We rocked up to the carpark and the first thing we noticed was that golfing practice didn't seem to involve much golfing practice, but instead was all about standing around in the carpark talking. So a few invisible ninja moves and army combat rolls, I spirited myself to GZ without being spotted by the non golfing golfers.
The excitement of finding the nice size cache soon went out the window when it was opened........heck......
Well...through more luck than anything else, I managed to locate the log book quicker than I imagined and signed it and replaced in the appropriate manner for the next finder.
Thanks LouiseAnn for the fun cache!
Cheers

Found this one after a round of golf with Daredevil. Was our first ammo tin. Loved the set up. Was a bit of fun getting to gz with the pram! Was slightly disappointed that the "clue" was left a tad easy. TFTC
Thanks for the fun cache! Great one to find with the kids. Left AEC Routemaster TB to start it's journey. (Hope it has better luck than the two TBs that are listed in the cache - as we couldn't find them in the cache).
Out with GJMMelb and quiet1_au today. Walked through the long grass to get to GZ, only to find that there was a mowed track.... Log was found eventually. TFTC
LOL - we've come across a few variations on this theme in our travels so lochb, G' of GJMMelb and I got straight to work when the cache contents were revealed so it only took a minute to find and sign the logbook, it helpfully gave itself away a little easier than some of the other caches TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au on a day out caching in this area. At Gz we all got to work and soon I had the log. Thanks LouiseAnn

Hahaha loved the surprise in this one. took a tb thanks for something different!
Found at 5pm , a bit of a wet walk through long grass on this "return to winter" day., I did not expect this big cache and walked straight over it. Log was quickly found, phew but I still searched all through looking for the 2 tbs but they are not here, I dropped a tomato tb. Thanks for the cache, jam donut dude .
Zaphod did a run of the La Trobe area to reach 50 caches, concentrating on the simple caches near the sports grounds. Picked up a nice trackable at the cache, it was harder to find the log book than the cache. Nice hide. Picked up Admiral Byrd.

Found in 10\8 with carkisser . Was out having a geocaching 101 lesson. Unable to log previously as not premium until now.

Burst out laughing when I opened this cache. Well played, you monster! Hahaha. TNLNSL, thanks for the great cache!
Decided to take advantage of the public holiday and the brilliant sunshine to do a bit more caching in my local area. I was aiming to find six so I could hit my 50th find, however only found three. This was the first of those three.
Reading previous logs I had an idea of what I might find and I was correct. It may be a good thing I have no sense of smell at the moment thanks to a heavy cold!
What a brilliant and sneaky cache. Thanks for the effort in hiding this.
I have never been so thankful to have waterproof boots as long grass and a very heavy dew made my walk in a bit damp...

Out & about today with Mr. Happy Pants, cleaning up a few caches that I hadn't grabbed around this area yet...
Found this well hidden cache, signed log & replaced... Fave point added...
Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here... Really enjoying the stroll to GZ & back with wet pants & boots... Was going to write something like "cache was full of crap - Took ammo tin left Mint tin. But I thought that may be a bit much...[:o)]

Clever!! Everybody usually loves them once their found it. tftc LouiseAnn, worth yet another fave. Left tb.
I have seen 3 similar caches in Perth but they have all been the largest style of this cache available so by comparison I felt blessed to be hunting this sized container. My nephew helped locate the log; photo attached. Thanks LouiseAnn.
Clever cache , kinda reminds me of a matryoshka doll . Thanks for the laugh Louise .
Found this one today. This was a very frustrating cache and eventually the log book was found and signed. It took a while to get the logbook out from the cache itself - it was bring frustrating! Finally the log was signed and the cache returned to its original state and hide. Of note I don't like them!
Thanks for the cache LouiseAnn.

We'd continued our walk up along the creek and used this spot as our turnaround. We were having a nice time, wandering and chatting about all and sundry. We approached this spot and began to hunt. I had a look at the notes, noticed the 'micro' determination and the cache name. It was then that I remembered what I'd heard about this one.
"Take a seat!" I said to alpha female, as I quickly spotted the cache and brought it over to her. I knew what she was in for but it was still a pleasant surprise. Together we rummaged and had the logbook in no time... Great teamwork
TFTC LouiseAnn... Definitely a better use of such a container than in most instances....
