I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi neatadThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
The cache is rusting away. There is a hole in the bottom and the lid is missing. Most of the logs are mush apart from the ritr log left by a cacher a couple of years ago.Cachers have been noting for the last 4 years that the cache needs attention, its condition is only getting worse.
A quick and easy solve and find whilst the rest of my family had a picnic in the park.
Headed over to this park this morning to stretch our legs and decided to try our luck with this multi cache which we are trying to make an effort to do more of. Walked over to the posted co ordinates spotted the sign gathered the information and then calculated the final. Got to GZ and made a nice quick find. Luckily this one is a bit more out of the way so there werent any muggles about.
I wasn't sure of my coordinates, but we traipsing across the park with a couple of options if needed. First coordinates were fine and led us directly to this cache in sad disrepair. The log paper was mush but fortunately macwatt had some waterproof log paper which we signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the multi neatad
Sadly there was no geo checker or check sum so armed with my tabulated results I started the journey across sodden fields and walk ways...the only thing in my favour was that the co ord that I had calculated did lead me to a building... a quick seach revealed a some what manky rusty container with a ball of mashed paper in the bag ....it was in such poor condition I couldn't sign it...so I placed a new waterproof log in the bag and returned as found...thanks for the cache Neatad ..this cache could really do with some tlc
Mr 12 was pretty pleased with himself as he worked his first multi by himself, the log really needs to be replaced as it is falling to pieces from being wet.

A few months ago I took a photo of this plaque and solved at home, today I finally pasted by to claim!
Man it’s rusty! Log is nearing mush level!
Thanks for the cache!

Been meaning to do this one for a while, but never got round to it despite coming here multiple times. Nice and easy to solve and find, although the cache is very rusty and paper is mulchy. TFTC
Visiting family in Auckland for the school holidays. Collecting some local caches. Quick solve at the plaque and off to GZ. As previously noted this cache is in serious need of TLC. Signed although the state of the log made it rather ridiculous. Thanks anyway for the smiley.
Having solved the final coordinates during lockdown it was time to come out and find this one.
I hauled the assistant across the rugby fields in the chariot to GZ, and quickly located the cache thanks to the hint.
The cache has definitely seen better days (a cockroach had made itself at home inside) and the log is wrecked so we couldn't sign it.

Nice hide. Didnt even realise there was a softball field over there. My coordinates were a bit off but found it with the hint
Nice and easy multi and nice and easy hide. Well done ! Lid has fallen off though. Tftc
Nice quick find, love the added camo as it looks like it’s been partly painted in situ! TFTC
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache quickly, thanks.
Swiss English teacher answerd the questions and Nöggi2 did the coords .. so we walked a long way and I said which one ...but in the end he spoted it before me !
Cool! Came with some other members and answered questions quickly to find the cache. We had a good look around for the cache and expanded our search to find it. Well done!

Had gathered the required information several weeks ago and with the number of muggles present and the wet weather we postponed the find until today.

No luck for me here today, went with dad (stevecoxnz) who had previously gotten this cache, I worked out the co ords and found the spot (dad followed and confirmed the spot for me) yet no cache to be found. CO may want to check in on this one
Visited a while back to work out the first part, then visited GZ one morning only to find someone asleep in a similar place very nearby, didn't want to disturb. Came back today, final co-ords and hint were spot on, making a quick final find. Seems some of the attachable properties have come unglued, making this less attachable now, hope it stays back in place. But all good here. TFTC
Fairly easy cache, gave great insight on the area! Box not big enough for tokens though remember to keep ya head up!
Nearly missed the sign with the information on it. Expected it to be closer to the village entrance. Co-ordinates spot on but didn't recheck the hint. Once checked cache was soon in hand, signed and returned. TY
Worked this out and then set about down the wrong path so needed to double back. The fields are extremely wet at the moment and I now have very wet shoes and socks to prove it. The area around the cache is also very wet so took a bit of a stretch to grab. Log was still dry in it great little hiding spot. TFTC.
9.50am - No problem to solve questions. Mistake was the direction my navigator lead me, it was in a semi circle to GZ, then at GZ was wet under foot. Bit of a search at the correct corner and cache was found. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We have been planning a raid on multis for several weeks. The plan evolved into an overnight expedition during Queen's Birthday weekend.
It didn't take long to calculate the final coordinates. However, the walk out to ground zone was much more of a mission. We took a less direct path to the cache. The ground was quite sodden and muddy...
We circled around before spying this hide. The return journey was a little more direct... TFTC.

Out with SethRaven and Panda0505 today chasing some cases for a Tufty challenge and needed a multi. This looked like one we could find so this set the day for where we would cache. A quick solve after having to wash one of the kids due a a wee slip in the mud - everywhere is wet underfoot - and off we went trying to avoid the slush. Panda0505 found this (aka Rowan who says Hi to Bella). TFTC and help with our challenge requirements.
Fencarrows and I are working on a Tufty challenge and we found this little multi so this decided what area we would cache in for the day today. Panda0505 came along today also . . . . . poor Master SethRaven had slipped over in the mud near the playground in his haste to get there . . . . . we cleaned up as best we could . . . . . no spare clothes on hand today . . . . he was a trooper and on we went . . . . . a nice little multi and we set off to find the final . . . . TFTC
Headed out this way with Merlot58 and Jag50. A nice straight-forward multi, that was easy to find, once we realised where the hint was actually referring to.
Got to the park and realised that sport was on. Managed to find a park and then after having captured a few caches made our way over here with Aiden29 and Merlot 58. Got here and noted a lot of supporters at the coffee cart but no sport happening back here. Suddenly we were aware that all eyes were on us as we were the only sport around as the rain set in. Fortunately MrJag50 decided to avoid the limelight and came at the cache from behind. A sneaky hide but readily retrieved.
Multis always worry me, so I triple checked the numbers before setting out. I was pleasantly surprised the my coords led me directly to the cache. Just a little bit more rust and this container will completely fall apart. TFTC.
Fancy that ! Never knew there was a multi in this Park ! And it looks really easy too !
Did it really quickly ...moved car and walked to the final !
Great place for a weather proof hide ! Well done !

Out for the morning with Merlot58 & Pazzabella. This was a nice little multi, and not too taxing on our hibernating 'on-holiday' brains. Once we reached GZ it was a quick find, thanks to the hint. Tftm
We had no problem finding the information required and Bertie made a quick find at GZ thanks to the hint.
This part of the park was very quiet today so a good day to be doingthis

We got our sums right with this one which is always a help. Nice clear instructions are also a big plus
Mr 7 is spending the day with his poppa who had done this cache previously, so they both enjoyed the walk around the grounds. TFTC.
It's a beautiful day today and I thought caching in Lloyd Elsmore would be good low intensity exercise as I recover from a leg injury. I quickly got the coords and headed to GZ. No rugby or anything happening on the fields which I find surprising for a Saturday. The cache container is rusty and missing 3 of its 4 magnets but still hanging in there. Thanks for this multi!!
We needed to take the real canine Sherlock the Puppy for a walk tonight, and as the rain had stopped, what better way to do this than by collecting a cache at the same time. I solved the clues to GZ quite quickly and as we headed off we happened to pass the annual Thursday Night Summer Touch Tournament in action. So we pretended to be real touch enthusiasts until we got to GZ. Once there, thanks to your hint, I soon had the cache in hand, log book signed, and cache replaced before anyone had any idea as to what we were really up to. So thank you neatad for taking the time to set up this multi. I had never been to this part of the park before. TFTC
Easy find once I had read the clues properly. The cache tin is showing signs of age like me. It was an entertaining walk across the fields as Pakuranga rugby had their sevens tournament although no muggles were present around GZ.

A great multi. It's always good to learn something new about the area and we would never have seen this otherwise.
Found the cache at the final after a brief search. Now the name makes sense, very clever.TFTC

We have all been here previously and visited the Howick Historic Village. Great to learn a little about early colonial life in NZ. Information for the final gathered and we set of on a little trek around part of Lloyd Elsmore park on this lovely winters day. Once at GZ we looked in a few spots before the hide was located. TFTMulti
Our second multi since we got our gps and we got all the required info and then started the trek to find the cache. Wasn't too hard a find once we were at GZ. Nice to see parks like this open to the public - although no one today seemed to be using it. TFTC
Here it comes - the netball season kicking off today with an al day tournament at Lloyd ells more. Time to find caches between yelling on the sidelines at games. This is my first ever multi cache and was surprisingly easy to work out the location. Took a little more time to find it and I was about to give up as was running out of time. I had managed to find 50c as a bonus though. Was just beginning to walk back to the netball courts when I glanced up and saw it. Phew - I hate having to come back.
I had solved this one a while ago and went to retrieve it the other day but couldn't find it. I double checked my calcs and had forgotten to add a 1 to a number, doh! So back out I went today (in the pouring rain and got soaked) and after a little bit of searching found the cache, yay! TFTC!
Epic hunt trying to find this as me and my friend Sarah are still quite new to geocaching. Have picked up the tracker and will take it down to Wellington with me on Friday.
Great puzzle... Was our first puzzle cache. We ended up walking around a lot coz we made a mistake with the coordinates but nevertheless it was a well thought-out clue, and great hiding place. Good place to rest afterwards too. My friend Steph has the kiwi trackable now... She's gonna take it pretty far on the next leg of its journey...
Found a lot more quickly than I had anticipated. Good hiding place, not what I was expecting at all. TFTC
After a long walk we found it Auntie lifted me to replace the log once we'd signed. Sorry for taking so long to log
Sorry for taking so long to log our visit. I was just able to grab this but was an awesome hiding place.
Came here after finding our EarthCache for the souvenir today as the junior cachers wanted to play in the park. A quick hunt got us the answers we needed and after 10 minutes of playtime, we were on our way. For some reason my phones gps had us going in the wrong direction but once I cottoned on we were soon on the right track (if via the long route).
Eldest jnr retrieved the cache, Sister signed it, I lifted youngest jnr so that he could replace it - a real team effort
Eldest jnr retrieved the cache, Sister signed it, I lifted youngest jnr so that he could replace it - a real team effort
After being in the area for junior cachers to play in the playground, it would be rude not to look for any caches in the area . As we were so close to the startpoint we were off. After taking the senic route, the cache was in hand for signing
Came by this way on a very warm day, Yee gods! If it's this hot already then I'm definitely not looking forward to summer! My first attempt to find something to look at, at the given co-ords failed miserably. I thought I haven't put in the correct co-ords but I checked and re-checked! So gave up. Came by again later in the car and saw a plaque that amazingly I missed on my first pass-by!! How on earth did I miss that???? So now I see the co-ords are fine after-all. Took the appropriate info off that and punched that into my reliable GPS. Wandered across the field to GZ and and soon had the log book open to sign. Thanks neated for the cache. It was a bit of apprehension then fun!

We came out to cover off Lloyd Elsmore today and as soon as we turned up it started persisting down. Not to worry we parked up in front of WP1 and worked out the co-ords for the final. Noticed there was a nice cafe nearby and after a coffee the sun was back out and we were on our way. Straight forward find at GZ though we could just as easily kayaked in as walked as there was so much water around
Another great find on a geocaching holiday in the area.
Thanks for setting up this cache.
Nice to get this one found quickly at the final location today.

A group of us decided to do some caching after a breakfast event at Dennys so wandered over to complete the calcs on the back of a old receipt from the bottom of the handbag. Made our way to the final and were a little pressed for time but made the find and signed log as Q1 for queens birthday group1st June. All in good order and nice little pozzie for the cache! Now on to the airport to pick up Oma and Opa! TFTC
I had been to get the information for this multi previously, but got the calculations wrong. While I was out one day I took a photo of the information source and found out where I had gone wrong. Not having had a chance to go and collect the cachce lately, I was happy to go with the Q1 group today after the Queen's Birthday breakfast and finally pick this one up. TFTC

Found with young eir-ot and signed as Q1 to save space ( Queens Birthday 1st June).

I was present at this one with the Q1 group after the Queen's breakfast event, although admittedly I didn't do too much to help, apart from stare at the place where we found the information for the coords and made a comment or two! Nevertheless, I enjoyed being part of this with the group. Thanks!
Out and about with Hoofnt and grabbed this multi. Always a good spot to walk. TFTC
Was excited for our first puzzle, but sadly couldn't find the cache. Looks like it hasn't been logged for a couple of months so we're hoping it's still there and we're just blind?
Found it second time round, and got some weird looks from muggles looking around the GZ lol
Made it to the likely place and decoded the clue, but still no luck, even for a reasonable tall guy like me. Still cool learning about the park, had a great day biking around looking for it.
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

Have attempted this cache 3 times already. First time got the information quickly but didn't have time to go to the final. Second time was in the area for kids swimming lessons but didn't have my notes so took a quick photo and got the answers whilst they were in the pool. Unfortunately something came up and I never went for the final.
Am trying to work on the geocaching licence series so need some multis and this one caught my eye as we were at the pools again. Looked on the cache page for my notes but not there...oh well will solve a third time. Got the info easily and put into gps only to find that I had actually already amended the coordinates so the ones in the gps were correct - nevermind.
Finally got to GZ today and my heart sunk a little when I read the hint because these usually challenge me a bit more than most but need not have worried as the cache was soon spotted and grabbed. Quick sign of the log and on our way we went.
Kids enjoyed racing around the field and then back to the playground near the information for a play.
Thanks for the adventure.

Our last multi for the day. The information was quickly and easily gathered, and the final soon spotted. Nobody about this evening, which made it much easier. Thanks for the history lesson and multi-cache!
A very pleasant multi, Mr P and I gathered the necessary information and had a very pleasant walk to GZ. Very nice caching!
On with our walk and turned out the final was where we wanted to head, there was a game on but cache was found fast and nobody was the wiser, TFTM.
Nice easy find and solve. Once realisrd clue found not long after. Forgot clue at first looked at wrong part at first. Tftc
Found it easily on second attempt (first attempt was on a weekend when kids were playing). TFTC.
Thanks for this nice little multi. We found the cache as soon as we got to the spot.
My first multi cache. I know it is aimed at kids, but hey I am happy! Thanks for a great cache!
Quickly solved the co-ordinates and strolled off to find the cache. 2nd find of the day in this park. TFTC
