Well hidden!

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Central Coast, staying at the Norah Head Holiday Park for a few nights, and plan on collecting some local caches during our short school holiday visit. This was our 5th, and last, find of the day, and our 5th find of the holiday.

After a pleasant visit to the Norahville Cemetery we were on our way back to our holiday cabin, but decided to stop off at "the club" for one last cache for the day. Parked in the club's car park, and then wandered over to GZ for a look.

And thanks to the helpful hint we soon spotted a very familiar bit of caching camo, and it was CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC ALL7.

Happy 2nd Geo-birthday to us! We celebrated this with a day caching in the Central Coast, from Norah Head to Toukley on this occasion. Threatening weather sent us packing after 9 finds and 2 DNFs. International Earth Cache Day will see us return before the week is out!
After doing the haedland caches, we shot over here, didn't buy any drinks though. I completely missed this one, Samuel spotted it as I was checking the next spot.... Watch out for large arachnids here.... TFTC ALL7

Found on ground upside down near its hidey-hole, cache had filled with water and log was destroyed. Added some paper and ziplock bag for now. Cache itself is cool, i really liked the camo and was sad that i hadn't found it properly. TFTC All7!

Clever to hide it.

A relatively quick find. What you'd expect. First thing i looked at but didn't recognise as the cache. Second time though, easily identifiable. TFTC

I missed this once before and it was clearly a case of cache blindness as it took all of two minutes today! Clever hide - of a type you might expect - but well placed. Coords were within 2m for me! Very helpful! So glad to tick this off the list. Now I'm off for a kayak adventure in the rain. TNLN TFTC

Found 2:23 pm. I was out in this neck of the woods to attend a surf life saving conference at Soldiers Beach and since I still needed to find my daily cache I decided to find this one after the conference. I parked the geovehicle right nearby and after a short search had the cache container in hand. I signed the log and returned the cache back to it's hiding place.

I found this nice cache with my mum while on our Central Coast caching trip. After visiting Norah Head, we drove towards GZ. We parked nearby and I started searching around the area. Not much traffic coming into the club, however our car was safely parked. I found the neat hide after a few minutes. Thanks ALL7!

Found night caching with Tombi. We headed down to clear out the Norah Head area. Our first one in Norah Had. Reasonably quick find. TFTC.

Found with Orrsome86 on a Thursday night geocache run. I suggested we do as the cache title suggested, but we had too many more caches to find tonight. This place seems a fair bit out of the way down this almost unmaintained road. We thought the place was shut, but there were a few cars still there. We parked close by the cache in the car park and walked over. I feared it would be a tricky hide, but we found it soon after.

Nana nel located the correct brick in the wall and we were under way.
No ants today, the rain must have been too much or it could have been the sun we came with
Log is full. We added an extra sheet of paper but plastic bag is breaking down and CO might like to do maintenance.

Found after lunch, looked on the wrong side, but then spotted something. No ant's today needs a new plastic bag it has holes everywhere. TFTC

Found the cache but could not write in log book as not keen on ants, especially since I was bitten by ants in our camp site that morning. I suggest to bring something to fight off the little critters.

First day of our break up here. Easy find but the smell of BBQ from the club was tempting.

Fun easy cache to find after a day at the beach! TFTC!

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Soldier's beach. Wanted to make a find before heading home so we stopped to take a look here. Looked over the potential host and spotted one that seemed a little out of place. Sure enough, there was the cache! Called "huckle, buckle" and let the rest of the family, LookSkycaher and GeelongCats make the find as well. SL TFTC!

I had to go to Erina Fair this morning and when I finished, I thought why not take a little drive and pick up a couple of nearby caches that I hadn't previously done. One thing turned to another, and a few hours later a couple had turned into 10 or so finds. Oh well, that's what happens when you're retired with time on your hands.

This one was a quick and easy find but the cache was infested with ants. I cleaned them out as best I could, the only problem being that I was then brushing ants off my arms, legs and clothes for the next 10 minutes. The logbook is getting a little worn (even a little ant eaten) but will still do the job for a while yet.

Thanks ALL7 ... I was tempted to have the nice drink at the Club but decided it was better to soldier on.

I was passing through the area so decides to grab a few caches while I was passing by - I've been to this club once before while staying at the van park next door -it poured so we ditched the campsite for a club meal. An Awesome snitty was had thanks for a neat little hide here.

Yella Belly and I headed to Doyalson/Budgewoi today and I found 26, had fish and chips for lunch at Budgewoi as a cache suggested and a beer to end the day at the Bowlo as this cache suggested, TFTC ALL7 and thanks for a great day!!

This being the last cache of the day it worked out perfectly to finish with a cool drink in the club with Grub Fred!!!

this is a great club for a great cheap eat. $8.50 for lunch,and desert for 50c.
we stopped here to have a bite to eat for a Birthday luch for me. and then found the cache on the way out.

Didn't have a drink, but did have one on the rocks! Parked right ontop of it, found in seconds. SL. TFTC.

We headed for this one after Norah Head Lighthouse and saw a sign advertising $8.50 lunches at the Bowling Club. Considering it was lunch time we thought this sounded like a good deal so Mrs Shifter went in to see what was on the menu. It turned out to be quite a selection so we enjoyed lunch as well as a cool drink at the Club.
After our pleasant lunch the cache was found very quickly by Mrs Shifter while Mr Shifter brought the geomobile over.

Found at 5:58 PM GAFF3. We were pleased at the way that the cache was hidden as it minimises the destruction of the wall. This place is very busy at this time and it looks like tonight is steak night for just $10, which was very tempting to try, but I was 60kms away from where I was staying for the night, so had to get going.
