Holiday today to get 17 caches in 3 new LGA’s and also my second last date needed for my “date placed Calendar” challenge. I also shopped for supplies to hide 7 geocaches for you locals!

While staying in Wallaroo for a short visit we decided to head north and grab a few caches along the way.
Today was the first day we’ve come across any flies since last Autumn, not in thick numbers but I’m sure they’ll build up quickly.
We also came across a large brown snake sunning himself on some rocks at one of the caches we visited. We promptly abandoned the search for that one very quickly
Many thanks for the hide Margieh

Unfortunately the sun didn’t stay around for another day so it’s back to being rugged up as we traipse around the surrounds of Wallaroo with iluvtrekking. Thanks Margie.
With a break in the rain we pulled over and found your cache. All is good here. SL TFTC
A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Took off for a drive with Purrfect Di. Found your cache along the way.
Most finds today were pretty straightforward, the odd calculation, and one decent spill of blood.
All in a day of good fun!
A quick minty find. Signed and returned.
Our thanks to Margieh for placing this cache on the SA geomap

Looking around every day locating and logging using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Quite a bit of that indeed !!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Ensure that Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
We do really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
in sensible safe places especially!
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Found on our way home from a trip to Crystal Brook and Port Pirie with Team Waldron for a long weekend. Unlike the previous two days of low cloud and rain, the day opened up with clear blue skies, temperature in the low 20's, and light winds. Perfect for caching on our travels back to Adelaide via Port Broughton, Tickera, Wallaroo, Moonta, Kadina, Balaklava and Mallala. Thanks for the cache Margieh!
It was getting wet when we pulled over for this cache. I floundered around in the bushes getting wetter and RoadieR got out of the car and beelined to the cache.
Great hide MargieH..gets a fav.

We were supposed to head off on holidays on Friday but one thing lead to another and then 2 x 40 degree days forecast so we decided to head off today rather Than yesterday.
It was flipping hot!!
We could not book into a camp site so decided to head towards port broughton and see what eventuated. We had a fun day, avenged a few prior dnf and enjoyed some icy cold beers at the Bond Store Wallaroo (can’t recommend enough) and then ended up free camping in PB. So incredibly hot TG for the genny and AC.
Fun start to life in the camper van!
Quick find here TFTC Margeigh

Not sure why you would look for this when you were young - maybe as you get older, you look for bigger landmarks [?]
Thanks for one more Margieh.

Off for another Puzzled Puzzlers caching Wednesday adventure. Again it was myself, S.A. Sewer rats and Blackadders heading for the Copper Triangle for a day of laughs, fun and smilies. But today we had decided we would cache until dark, have a bite to eat and continue with some night caching.
After fish and chips in Wallaroo it was time to continue to cache by torchlight. [8)]
A quick stop and a very quick find. All we needed to do was extract the cache from all the spider webs.
**Thanks Margieh for this cache. **

Another assault by a few of the Puzzled Puzzlers targeting the Yorke and surrounding areas. With the the great weather today a number of previous DNF's were turned into smileys and many others were turned into those nice yellow found icons on the map. Thanks also to the extra pair of Starfish eyes.
Under torchlight a short search was made before coming up with the goods. Log signed and all returned. TFTC

Found and logged this cache the other day but got a message to say my name was missing from another logbook that day so had myself second guessing if Id stamped the book. Deleted it and came back to check today, nice easy find second time aroundand thankfully name was there so not completely insane. Tftc
We left Esperance 3 days ago for the Yorke Peninsular after 4 months spent mainly enjoying the warm weather up north. It’s been a bit of a let down since we reached Perth and the weather cooled right down. The sun is thinking about coming out today, and we’re cheering it on. Tomorrow we aim to start on our adventure trying to pick up as many caches as we can before heading back home to Victoria in the last week of September.
We set off early from our overnight stop just south of Port Germein and started finding caches as we travelled south to Maitland, our destination for a few days as we set out on the power trails.
Nice find just on side of road, simple but apt.

Day Thirteen of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I visited historic Wallaroo. With a historical buildings map in one hand and a caching map in the other we rode our deadly treadlies around the streets and piers. (That wasn't easy with no hands!)
We needed to stop at lunchtime near the pier, and sort through all the remaining caches to remove those that haven't been found for the last year. Maybe some maintenance needs to be done in this town?
About as far up this road we went today (not going to the trots!)
A nice quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11807. Day 13 of our SA holiday. Time for Robmc and me to visit historic Wallaroo and see if we can find some caches. Well yes we did, and a few DNF's before we got wise and went to get lunch. Lunch-time was the time to check every potential unfound cache and see whether they were worth visiting or whether they were missing. Well, that narrowed things down a bit. And still we were unsuccessful at some. We must try harder.
This is the furthest we went along this road this afternoon. Rob wandered further off the roadside and something lying near the road was getting my attention. I realised I was also looking at the cache in my field of vision. Right there all the time.
Thanks Margieh

We managed to park very close to where this cache was located and it was quickly found. The log was duly signed and then all was put back in its place. Thank you to Margieh for placing this cache and giving us a reason to stop here.
Easy find as it was lying on the ground, fairly dry inside but a new plastic bag for the log might be a good idea if anyone has one handy.
Thanks Margieh
