Attended with team SirVancelot. I think we will change our strategy next year for the Hunt & Munch and spend two hours collecting rubbish to gain points Big Grin
Thanks to pjamesk and all who made it a great day.

After the munch event, I decided to collect rubbish from an area which has been good for hiding movables...and is always revoltingly messy when heading off to do so. I collected up 5 bags of rubbish (photo attached) and a piece of old guttering or something, then went and hid some frogs and gnomes! It's still not perfect, but it's a huge improvement (and some of the stuff I put in those bags was as gross as you can get...). A really great cache, thanks pjamesk.

I agree with Kangaroo Girlie - it is scary the amount of rubbish is about the place. We must remember this for next year's Hunt & Munch event - it could be an interesting 2 hours of rubbish collecting Wink.

Thanks pjamesk for aligning and organising these events.

We knew there would be those sceptics who accused us of bringing along our own rubbish, so thought we had better take some before and after photos! We admit that we didn't get all the rubbish, as we ran out of bags and some of what was left needed at least double bagging before being allowed in a car - but tha rea did look better afterwards. Now, it just makes us think that we really should spend 30 minutes doing something like this more often, rather than only for events . . . Oh, and should we mention that an dded bonus was that all that trasj helped us win the Hunt n Munch event?????

It's a worry just how much rubbish we collected in a short amount of time. CATO is a great idea - thanks to pjamesk for formalising this one into an event and organising.

I'll be there after I've had a shot at achieving the much coveted 5th place in Hunt and Munch.

20-Apr-12
Well after the munch a group of us wandered down to a local cache (one of mine). There was nothing required to be tidied, but then I wandered back to the event site and managed to do my cito duty

20-Apr-12
My first cache of this nature as part of the Hunt and Munch Event 2012.
It was great to participate in this event until such time as Swampy and Team Natty Dean tried hard to get me into a rubbish bag and hijack the car. They almost succeeded but I ran faster than they did - not bad for an "Old" fella.
Thanks pjamesk for organising a great event.
Cheers OldSaint.
