Kids didnt want to go near the bushes in case of snakes . Thought it might be near the wall but no luck
We had left home in Moreton Bay area to get to the Sunny Coast for the pre-Christmas event from the Wesso Family in Baringa. We had an awesome event with new caches, lots of food, fun and chats.
After leaving the event, we continued caching for a while.
This was our No. 17 today and we signed the log.

We looked at the logs before we embarked on this one and sure as eggs is eggs we found it witin a couple minutes. Tftc

Out with E_Smiley, Duppers and chamad collecting caches on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
This one had us all over the place, we were about to give up but eventually E_Smiley found what we were looking for. After adding our names to the log we were on our way.
Thanks Wesso Family for the cache.

A plan was set for today to try to complete as many of the sunshine coast caches as possible with a target of 140 (my target). Todays little group was Willis007, Esmiley, newcomer Duppers and myself. We meet at the arranged meeting point; we worked out where we were going and had a plan for the day. It was a little slow start but once all the formalities were done it was all systems go. The day was a lot of fun, with laughs, the usual banter and some nice walks. The plan changed a little as we went, we got a third of our targets, which I was happy with, as it was a big ask considering the caches were doing. We had a few DNF’s which took up a lot of time, a couple of multis that had us stuck for a checker tick. We were lucky to have Esmiley along who had completed a few of the caches and gave us some insight.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the caches and some fun hides and to my caching buddies for the day. We signed all logs and replaced containers as we found them.
Ahh so many hiding spots, took us a while but it was smiley who made the find, tuff one, thanks.
All good with this cache and now it is onto the next one.

I parked up on a street behind GZ and walked down the path and started the search. I scratched and scratched around then re scratched where I had already been and suddenly it appeared! Funny how that happens! Log signed and replaced where found. Thanks for this one Wesso family.
After cycling over from the last cache, I came here expecting a tough search, but really it only took me about 10mins, sorry smallwombat! After a bit of scratching around and looking at past logs, I paid more attention to the hint and soon had the sneaky hide in hand. Placed in a replacement log sheet. Thanks for the cache wesso family!
Finally found my first cache since our move North. The local ant population had made it home so I knocked them away and as others have said, the sheet is now full. I go that way often so will add a secondary sheet on my next visit. TFTC
Well hello there nemesis cache..
...and your little log too. Bwhahahaha.
In town for a day or two saw me scurrying around my own and adopted caches in a maintenence frenzy that i saw fit to include this debacle enroute.
The stars must have aligned for i was practically magnetized towards it this time. Funny story. I soon discovered my pen was missing.
Taking photo's on a full log wasn't enough i felt however, so rode myself down to the aldi, where i bought myself the only writing implement in the store, a ten pack multi colour texta set.
Then rode back up and alliterated the log with my autograph.
Ridghaven rocks thank you and goodbye.
Thanks to you too wesso !
Logs pretty darn full too.

I remember having a DNF here a few years ago, but failed as there were too many spots to scratch around at. Today I focused on the hint and found it in the second place I looked. Been a while since the last visitor. Hint for future finders, focus on the fence not the trees

I am beginning to think there are very evil forces at work today. DNF 5 - I am going home to seek coffee.
After the recent DNF's I checked this one today....and guess what?
It's still there!!
It's still there!!
Passing by here, and being a sucker for punishment i thought i'd have another crack at what it's like being a scrub turkey.
Half hour later, grubs and insects enraged I fled the scene.
Next time gadget, next time.

Sigh. I thought this was going to be easy.
Half hour later, yeah nah.
Another dnf here.

Parking the bikes in the shade, we took turns going over for a poke and a prod of everything rocky or hard, to no avail.
Will have to come back another time for a more thorough hunt.

Sorry knew what I was chasing I think but no joy. Pesky granny muggle made it harder. Next time.
Getting today's cache. The right level was found quickly. Also The cache was somewhat quick to find despite the camo, However it might have been trickier . Maybe I was lucky. Tftc from Finland.
I parked down the road a bit and walked back. The decision was "which level do I search first?"
I picked one and it turned out to be the right one and I found the cache straight away. 6 years of exposure has given the hide some character.

Good day for it. Not many muggles around which made for a nice quick find. Tftc
Out for an afternoon of caching with stortigirls. This cache was quickly located and the log signed before we continued on our way. TFTC
A quick find with Selva Girls whilst out caching on the Sunshine Coast this afternoon. Tftc wesso family.
This one proved a bit difficult, but after some perseverance, it finally came to hand.
Did a lot of scratching around before stepping back to assess the situation. Spied the "rock" and called in the great niece to investigate. This is her first caching day and she is hooked. T4T$.
Ha ha - we were taking the clue to mean one thing but it really meant another which had us going for a short while - found it pretty quickly though. TFTC
So this area is a blast from the past. Didn't take too long to find. But co ords were about 9 m out by the phone!!! TFTC
Yes, pretty difficult. I parked where I hoped would be safe and headed up. After a bit of stumbling around, I wondered if I was even on the right level. A bit of up and down and reading all the logs... still not much. At last, a photo gave me hope. More vigorous scratching and I found what I expected at last. Relief! All good inside so TFTC.
Found it so after 3 attempts and a hint from the co I finally hit the jackpot and I'm stoked . I was looking in the wrong spot as my phone for some reason didn't want to go caching today and said I was 600m away lol OK back in the pocket you go but after getting nailed by mozzies and nursing a sore back and a hint I got it with the skids. Tftc always a challenge
DNF. I'm sure it's there but my gps was bouncing all over and there were some small dead rodents so left it for another day.
Hi mr wesso. Went into this hunt feeling nervous with the recent dnf. But i quite enjoy being on all fours scratching around and I'm very familiar with bush turkies. Used the hint, summond my inner turkey and BINGO
We are back in caching business!!! Out with Egg Zachary for a few caches. Did a bit of CITO for you as there was some unsavory items nearby. Nice little hide Mr Wesso.....thanks!!

Watching the weather & trying to decide where to raid today.
Hoping to hit the Sunshine Coast but looking north it didn't look very sunny.
A few words with the Sun God, Mighty Ra, expressing our displeasure seems to have done the trick, the closer we get the more the weather is clearing! LOL ...
Selected Little Mountain & surrounds, filled up the Geo-beast & it was GAME ON!
A much welcomed quick find!
Our afternoon hasn't been going as planned but hopefully this will be the beginning of a better run.
Cache found nicely tucked away.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

We saw you neilo10 but thought you were muggles! Wish we said hi coz this one is HARD!!! Going home to the pool and be back again later for round two
After a very long search. .. and even reading through logs.. almost given up when the geodaughter decided. . No one more look... between a rock and a hard place... oh you pesky thing! Found you at last! Tftc!
Took a couple of searches after I talked to navigator.about it he gave me a clue to where it was
Found on our way to the sunshine coast. 14 of 17 found on a small geocaching day around brissy and the sunshine coast. A bit of a more difficult going between three main areas for around 20 minutes. Eventually explored one area a little more and found the cache. A fav point for turning a usually easy find into a hard one. TFTC Wesso Family

Okay. Yep, we are off on yet another night time geocaching hunt. While the Geokids are away, opportunities need to be taken advantage of.
We picked an area and off we went.
First on our list was this one. Not as quick of a grab as we thought it would be. A bit of crawling around, trying to get the right co-ords. Finally .... Ants? Yep (looking back at past logs) this must be the right spot. FOUND IT!
The hint was right

We had decided to try to complete the Difficulty / Terrain challenge and chose an area on the Sunshine Coast to target at least twenty-five different D/T combinations. This cache has the added advantage of also helping us with the Average Cacher Challenge so it is an extra bonus find for us today.
We had a little difficulty locating the cache but eventually made sense of the hint and some previous logs to make the find. With our name in the log, we headed back to the car for the next cache on our list.
Thank you for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy Wesso Family

Clever little hide. Took a while and had to avoid spiders and lizards but otherwise lots of fun. TFTC!
After a DNF at a nearby cache I was keen to find this one before heading home today. Seirra1 parked close by and we walked to GZ, or was it? My GPSr was telling me that when I was up I should have been down and when I was down I should have been up. So I looked at the clue and thought about where I would hide it and lined up the best line of attack and went scratching around. Seirra1 called out to say that he had found it and I picked off a few cobwebs before venturing over to sign the log. Thanks for the cache Wesso Family.
Third on a very hot day. GPS had us searching down by the road for a while, found another way in and after arriving at GZ we soon found the cache. Cleaver hide, thanks Wesso family
MR WESSO ... THERE ARE ANTS IN MY PANTS ... AND THEY BIT ME

a couple went down my back and bit me just inside my pants
then there was one in my hair ... have a little row of bites down my back
while I was doing the ant dance and wondering if I was about to drop my dacks to escape Iolanthek came up with the cache
she signed while I killed

I was heading off on a day off adventure caching with spinna76, *SuzySquirrel* and Lechbros. Spinna and Suzy had already found this previously so stopping was purely for my benefit. Lechbros raced up the path before they were told anything and started the hunt in the wrong spot. Once I got to GZ, I directed them to the right area and we put our caching goggles on. Soon after I spotted the likely culprit and sent one of the Lechbros in to retrieve it. TFTC Wesso Family
I went the wrong way at first . Quick read of the details and the cache was found quickly. Great view of the light post from here.TFTC
I got a FB message from ‘ZoolandR’ with something along the lines of ‘What are you doing...?’. I thought well nothing, it’s a very quiet Friday night. I wrote back ’nothing’ then she wrote back ‘Night Cache...?’ and you know the answer I replied or this log would not have been written.
So I jumped into the Geo:Van along with ‘Spinna76, ‘dahumbug’ and ‘ZoolandR’ and we tried to head out to an area that would be a neutral ground to hunt... Though, that did prove difficult. We all decided if a double up occurred then the unfounders were to find it all on their own.
This was the first cache of the night and I have to say that I was well off track and was still charging up my GC’ing batteries. We all looked around, and around until it was found that the cache was hidden in ‘ZoolandR’s’ hands as she had found it straight away but was playing silly buggers!
Thanks for the cache ‘Wesso Family’ and expect a few more logs as we are heading to your stomping ground!

#593 @ 9:02PM Out with ZoolandR, MinkosDes & da humbug for some finds for the night. ~ TFTC wesso family
Booyah Found it!
Out with Dahumbug Minkos Des and Spinna76 on a night cache tour. Whilst we loosely chose an area which we all hadn't completed there was the odd cache which one of us had the chance to sit back and watch the others fumble around foolishly in the dark (because they had found them already). No hints were given to anyone who hadn't yet found the cache.
First cache of the night.
I put my hand down and... yep there it is! All good on this one!

Definitely between a rock and a hard place. Perhaps time for a new log though as this one is getting very damaged and is evidently had a hard life. TFTC wesso family!
Found after getting down on hands and knees. Thanks for the hide. Clever camo
Yahoo, found it log very wet but still able to write on it. Sorry didn't have anything to replace it with. Thanks for bringing us here
