Tree removed. Temporarily disabling until cache is rehidden. HS 1063559.
Last one for the day and a rather elusive one it was.
Checked out the fantastic tree house then searched systematically in the wrong direction.
Eventually located it and signed the log.

This didn’t take to long to find as the co ords were a little out but the find was easily found
Today I decided to head out into the country side, around the back of Sheffield and Devonport. With such a great day with the weather it was nice to collect a few caches.

Kids old and young had fund climbing in the tree house. Widened our search and soon had he cache in hand
Touring Tasmania with non-caching friends from our caravan club we haven't had many opportunites for hunting. We were at the Wilderness Village and of course Mr was looking at the map and delightedly downloading a cache just a stroll away! Picked it up at 4.30 pm after a day out. Thank you for the placement, wattle99, and particularly for bringing our attention to this magnificent mural which we studied from both close up and across the road. TNLNSL.
Took a drive through cradle country for our last day in Tassie. Really enjoyed Mt Roland and Round Hill, and paused by here to get a better view... After inspecting the hydro facilities, the mural, and the tree house I wasn't entirely sure where the cache might be, but a previous finder pointed me in the right direction, making it a reasonably limited search thankfully.
Thanks for the hide wattle99.

Travelling around Tassie for a couple of weeks with MizzJane.
Finding some caches as we go.
This was one of them.
A quick find was made this morning.
Great mural and tree house.
Looks like the trees are going to be removed.
The log book was duly signed.

We drove through here a couple of times before we realised there was a cache..... no luck finding it though. What a tree house much better than mine as a kid!

Funny thing, yesterday I stopped here to buy an icecream, but I didn't check for caches. (So unlike me .) However I passed this spot again and stopped today. Found after a search. As the hint says, "Pine Trees." Yes, pine trees, that should narrow it . TFTC wattle99.
Took a little looking around but found it. Would of loved the tree house when I was younger
Loved the huge mural, we drove by yesterday in the rain so came back today in the sunshine.
Excellent cache, luckily I had my hubby to reach it down.

Spending some quality time in Tasmania, revisiting special places and exploring new ones. Love the structure near gz. Log book nice and dry but very full. Thanks for the cache
Our GPS really liked the tree fort but like those before us used logs to find cache. TFTC enjoyed the mural.
Managed to park on the opposite side of the road and make the short walk to GZ. Looked in the wrong clue item to start with but once at the right place, it was quickly spotted. TFTC.
Nice quick and easy find. Love the mural. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
A brilliant muriel
It must be appreciated from left to right though
And it neatly tells the history of this spot for the last couple of centuries at least
Yeah !! It is painted on a Hydro shed,
so expect some 'romanticism' of some of the scenes
Over the road I found the 'Tree Fort' !!
Wow !! That is one hell of a tree house
Not quite as good as Bart's,
but with a bit of work it could be
I figured that GZ wasn't the tree house tree,
as the cache would be in danger of mugglin' [:o]
So using the clue provided by the previous finder,
I soon had the cache in paw [^]

Found the mural but not the cache. I think I had the right spot (based on previous logs) and referred to the d/t rating to be sure, but still nothing. Probably has more to do with fatigue.
A 2 week trip to Tasmania to see what we can see in that time and grab a some caches along the way. This is our first trip to Tassie so we have been looking forward to see as many of the places friends have recommended as possible plus seeking out a few of the special Tassie caches and drop a few of our pathtags as we go. We are sure we will enjoy what ever we see and find.
Oops - life took over once we returned home and I forgot to post the logs for the last few days. Apologies to all.
Thanks for the cache wattle99 [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
Greetings from Western Australia
This was find # 2 of 5 and 0 today giving us a total cache count of 3545.

The Wench and I are visiting the top end of Tassie for a few days...
GZ was an impressive sight. An emormous mural across the road, a fancy tree house not far from the cache and TWO caches. Yep, two cache containers in the same spot.
Thank you, wattle99, for this cache.

Does the fort run its lights on hydro. Or is there a crop up there?
Thanks to wattle99 and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

Easy find once the gps settled. First it had me looking in the tree with the fantastic cubby - but then i realised it was further over and made a quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
#14 of Julz and Cathy's great Tassie Geocation.
DD was sent to find this one on her own, and nearly fell for the cunning trick of it not being in what looked like an obvious hiding spot - the most impressive cubby. Fortunately she widened the search area and located the cache. TFTC

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. We are now here in Tasmania on the second leg of our journey. We then head back to Melbourne before setting off to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. After a visit to Sydney we will travel on to the Gold Coast, then after spending a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by an overnight trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
A nice quick find once we had found the right tree. Very interesting tree house and love the mural. Thanks so much for the cache.

We thought we may have to miss out on this one as a muggle was working very close to GZ when we arrived, but with a little patience, eventually the coast was clear and a quick grab was achieved. Signed the log in the car so as not to arouse suspicion and returned the cache undetected. Thanks for the cache wattle99.
Unexpected stop full of surprises. The mural, the treehouse and the nearby Pelton Wheel that our uncle or father may have installed. TFTC
With the geovan camped at Gowrie Park, and gephub doing the Mt Rowland track, I had to come into Latrobe to see Dr and get har cut. The intrepid hikers not yet, thought I should grab another easy cache near to camp.
