Had a pretty decent look and scratch around GZ. Lots of leaf litter and fallen branches. If it’s on the ground, as indicated by dirt photos and comments, it would be very hard to find.
Had heaps of fun with this one, young one didn't enjoy the night bush walk but the cache was a cool little wooden man we loved it, the hint is very important but mind there's more than one depending on the path you take, thanks for the hide
Ps I we added more paper I'll post the damaged paper and new role on next post

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 124. Gladstone Day 1. I spent the day caching in the Gladstone region, first I headed down to Tannum Sands, then I looped back into Gladstone via another road and did some suburban caches before heading into the port and marina fore shore area to finish my day off.
There seem to be houses and developments going up all over the place. There are way more roads in here than my GPS said, but at least I could park right next to GZ. Then a short dash into the bush and the cache was found.
Thanks for the cache Tui65

That is a cute cache! Logs are full.
Lovely park! On a bike the tracks and parks can be explored easier.

Today is our last day caching in Gladstone. Hoping to get another 5 smilies today.
Gladstone has some pretty parks, here is another one. Hello Dolly, she is quite cute, but headless! WE signed the log, and fixed Dolly up as best we could. Thanks Tui65

Found it, a fun find but sooooo many mozzies (don’t forget the spray) that we nearly gave up!
She's a little cutie, that's for sure. Log is full, we didn't have any replacement with us.
Lovely little walk...
Pity I did not have time to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature. TFTC. Cute..

I found this cache today while in the area. The log is quite full but I squeezed my signature at the bottom. This is a nice quiet place for the cache. TFTC

Looks like the site has been damaged - found a little treasure and then log paper torn in two and thrown close by on the ground - have wrapped log paper around the treasure and left hidden at coordinates

Our first Geocache search & find! Right across from our house...perfect hiding spot
This was our first cache in Queensland. We are visiting from South Africa. And really enjoying this part of the world. The cache logbook is in good condition, but almost full. Thanks for bringing us to this place. TFTC
Out and about in Gladstone for a night time raid with a lovely new friend who was interested in learning more about the art of geocaching. This was our third find.
It was great to head out with a local, who knew how to read a map and navigate us where we needed to be. Counting down the metres to GZ.... haha! We need to head in there
I've taken new cachers to places similar and they have quickly decided geocaching might not be for them, but kelmp87 was quick to dive head first into the bushes and spider webs.
We managed to collect a few webs to the face before finally finding ourselves at GZ thanks to the hint. I spotted a cachey looking location and pointed it out. Check there! Kelmp87 was onto it, but it gave both of us a bit of a start. We weren't expecting that.
We left some scribble on the log and then replaced the cute container back where it belonged.
Thanks for the cache Tui65

We walk the tracks around here all the time. Been meaning to get to this one. Easy find for the kids and they can have a play at the park near the pond.
Didn't write in log as didn't have a pen

Finally heading south. staying a few days in Gladstone.
After a day of computing and brain strain yesterday it was good to get back out and have a go today. The mozzies werent too bad in the morning although did become friendlier in the arvo. Glad the clouds seem to have pushed on for a bit.
We did find your cache so thanks.
