Logs
Out for a stroll and some caching. Found this one without too much trouble. Thanks for the hide.
Hi cache owner. The log in this cache needs maintenance. It is quite damaged from past water. I didnt have any spare log replacement.
M24: had to ignore the previous cache due to nearby workers, so I just kept walking along approaching this cache, which was a nice and easy find, log all good and signed. TFTC.
Wow... That was a quick find and log...
Thank you for the cache

Found this one quite quickly and easily.
Cache is in a fine state!
Thanks!

Here after the opening of the new Mangere bridge which is gorgeous! Saw a police helicopter take off nearby which made artemis’ day
Took a moment or two to find this one, but we're a bit out of practice. Next one will be faster.
I wasn't planning to stop for this one, but as I was cycling along I saw what had to be the cache just lying on the ground. Picked it up and confirmed that yes it was the cache - the magnets are definitely not working any more. I signed in and replaced it where I think it was meant to be. Hopefully it stays there, but since the log is wet and the magnets don't work, it could do with a bit of maintenance. Thanks for the cache anyway... and the very detailed cache page...
Found it tonight between the flocks of cycles on there daily migration home.
Thanks
Thanks
the name of this cache suited the area about 100 times over.
so we didn't much around with find
not a pleasant area to visit.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… The NZ Mega is done and dusted, and now behind us. What to do for the rest of the day? The plan is to continue caching together with (Mr) Davidson Clan, McJandals, and Philip.Perry…
That was an informative, educational description… It was very warm down here, so we chose not to ‘fart’ around. I suppose under the circumstances, this was a warm fart. Thanks FMZ and TFTC.

Team BOP is back on the road this time heading to Auckland with our sights set on some Labs, puzzle solves and the NZ Mega 2020… I mean 2022
Our current incarnation includes Davidson Clan, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed the cache logs as ‘Team BOP’ to save time and log space. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey as most caches have been found quickly & without fuss thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placements.
I appreciate there’s a stigma attached to cut’n’paste logs like these so I’ll try to provide cache specific notes retrospectively when I get home. We do genuinely respect the work put into these caches, particularly some of the puzzles, but with a numbers mission like this - the hides start to blur together unfortunately. So Cheers COs, TFTC and most importantly - thanks for bringing us here

Up in Auckland for the mega with Philip.Perry and McJandals. Left home at 0300 over the hill to Tauranga to pick up the others in Auckland by 6am. Only plans today are to attend Mega sign log there then follow the map to get as many caches as possible. Signed logs TeamBOP.
FINALLY we get to attend the MEGA. Attending as part of Team BoP. We have a load of solved puzzles and whilst we are concentrating on those, won’t pass up on trads either.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Been in Auckland visiting family and now heading home. After Mrs Rubbishparty had some retail therapy at Sylvia Park we came here to walk the dog and collect some smileys. Knew roughly what we were looking for but still took sometime. Thankful no bad smells around here and after signing the log it was off to the next. Thanks for the smiley.
Tftc. A long walk the the boys play soccer at the local park. Took a little tine to access, but once spotted I immediately knew I had found the right structure!
Doing 2 caches on cycleway today ... Lots of cyclists and dog walkers.
Easy with hint..
Easy with hint..
Easy find and once we found it has doh moment about why the cache was called what it was
Mind the bees. Beautiful day for a walk during Level 3 (Sat 29 Aug) when I found this cache. Karo in flower and bees galore. After reading hint quickly had cache in hand. TFTC
Find number 6833. A nice little walk to GZ. My initial search produced nothing of interest but when I approached from a different angle I spotted th cache. Thankfully I was out of sight as a maintenance van went along the path while I was signing. That got the wind up me a little. Thank you for the placement.
Went for a walk along the bike path and thought to see if there were any geocaches. Didn't have a pen to sign though
We should have been a little more observant as we walked to GZ as it would have been obvious what to look for. When we saw it we knew straight away the cache would be attached and sure it was. Almost let out a squeak with excitement.
Missed this one on the way but as we knew we had to go back that way it wasn’t a problem.A quick find on our way back once we had found a way in.
I saw lots of squeakers today ..and was also looking for a squeaker..instead I was totally surprised by what Nöggi2 found ..It was devinitly not a duck..quack quack quack
I'm from Switzerland and spend 4 months in New Zealand on vacation. Found this cache the second time quickly, thanks.
Had our bikes out in this part of town again. This time took the time to figure out where the caches were, that we hadn't done. This took us ages to get the right spot. Very clever hide here. SL. TFTC.
Continuing my bike ride along here later on Saturday afternoon. Another quick find at GZ, TFTC
This area was in between appointments today and having a big time space decided to take a walk in the sunshine that Auckland shared today.
Only came across a few cyclist along the way to GZ and upon arriving had the place to myself....
A little search of the area and nothing stood out, so rechecked the maps and some of the older logs and found the required info to enable the find.....
The cache is all good and a nice hide.
TFTC.

After yesterdays storm today seemed a bit better. Did meet up with evilno9 to get some steps and geocaches into our day. Took a while to find this one, giving our attention to the wrong spot. Its for sure not the pipe in the pipe on the fishing line. Trusted our GPS and made the find in the end. TFTC
We figured out pretty quickly the type of object it would be on, but were confused when we couldn't see anything like it at the gz. A quick read of past logs, however, helped give us some courage to check something. Sure enough. There it was. Thanks!
Ahh we saw bigger versions of this around the area and checked those because of the hint but nothing there, so we had a closer look at GZ. Cache is in good condition though is now home to a little spider. Tftc
Much entertainment was had reading the cache page aloud as we walked towards this cache. Even more entertaining as one of the group was known as "little squeak" when he was a baby (not due to flatulence though - more about the tiny cry he made). A nice quick find here with darthcacher1 and purply.
Good description here Nice little trip on my bike in the area. Quick find along way. TFTC
Came by this way after gaining the other cache by the same C.O, that FMZ character.... his multi in fact. OMG, it's so bloody hot, I can feel the sun ripping thru me as I walk along. So glad this cache hide didn't take too long. I was even happy to be inside the trees doing the search, it was way cooler in there for sure. Was a little fooled by the hint, until I found the cache that is. Nice work here Mr FMZ! Log paper still the original and in good condition.
As it was the Friday of a long weekend, my boss decided to be generous and close the office at lunchtime. Fantastic! Time for a cache or two. I had seen this one on the geo map before, but I figured it might be a bit of a hike on foot from one of the closest places to park... and so I didn't want to risk it over a lunch break as I didn't want to risk not being able to make the find due to time pressure... but today was different. So after parking up, I made my way to GZ on foot... however as I did I was intrigued to experience a helicopter landing nearby. As it hovered directly overhead I thought it was checking me out for some reason... but then I realised there was a landing pad nearby. Anyway, once at GZ, I soon made the find which was nice and easy. I signed the log and put the cache back nicely in its home. However, as I was coming out from the cache location I just about walked into some muggles who were out jogging... and so like a twit I just said 'hi'. They obviously thought I was strange... which is quite understandable. It's probably because people who do what we do could be considered as such... which is just fine with me. Anyway, thank you funkymunkyzone for taking the time to set up not just this cache, but all of your caches. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. Nice. TFTC!
After educating ourselves on the subject matter we changed our minds about what we were having for lunch before beginning the search.
Clever hide, we didn't expect to find something magnetic here but soon spotted it.

Nice quick find. On arrival at GZ was wondering what could be magnetic but soon found out. TFTC.
Out caching with pazzabella, Bertie Blowfish and merlot58, along with a few geodogs. Were wondering were this cache could be hiding on approach. It took a bit to realise just where the cache was located, but once I saw it, I knew that had to be the location.
We certainly smelt a lot of "flatulance" today as we completed the walk, from the gas around this area.

It seemed like we must have been looking in the wrong direction but on delving further into the matter, we got the little squeaker. tftc and the cache description! Most enlightening, although enlightening is not recommended!
interesting cache name! We were looking in the wrong place at first, a few metres away, but another check of the hint helped, and Aiden soon had the cache in hand. Tftc
First time out geo-biking; took the kids for an out and back along this lovely walk/cycle way on a fairly windy afternoon. I over thought this one, thinking it couldn't be there, so looked around the other side but the coordinates were too far off. Back around and looked in and of course found it straight away... #165
Geokids thought the title of this one was just so funny. Glad it wasn't literal when we arrived at gz. Took just a few mins to spy where the cache would be hidden with help of the hint. TFTC
I was out to to collect a mystery cache by the same CO so decided to tack this one on to the same road trip. I had no idea about this part of town - geowife and I loved the walk and could reminisce about when we lived in an apartment next to a railway line in Harbin, China. And of course there are no shortage of containers from her home nation. Out the other side we watched the mangroves. The walk also had its collection of cyclists, fantails and a gentleman who appeared to be intending to freedom camp on the path. Odd choice but there you go. GPS led me to the GZ like a laser so very easy to find, sign and begin the leisurely stroll back to the car. TFTC.
Found with Tinytree24 who was amused by the title of this one but didn't wamt to go too close initially fearing that it must have something to do with the cache. Once explained Geokid was coaxed into grabbing it. TFTC.
Found with Bennett24. Glad it wasn't as smelly as the title; had me worried. TFTC.
We used the hint straight away to find the cache. Found with sis while out on a 6km run. Popular on saturday morning. TFTC
#10619. After a puzzle DNF, we carried on to this one and were pleased to find it. TFTC.
An interesting area to explore. After a DNF nearby, this was a nice easy find, with spot on co-ordinates. And it was great to have some sea breezes to cool us down.
We are currently house sitting with 2 cats to look after and one has a flatulence problem, silent but deadly. And usually when he is sitting on your knee . He's incredibly smoochy, with a quirky personality so it's easy to forgive him this little foible. TFTC.

Investigated a few other outlets first thinking i knew better than my gps so dnf at first. Found it quickly after switching to the other side of path. The only residents in the cache were several native cockroaches, all harmless, so shook them out before replacing cache. Tftc
Started reading the information while walking to the cache. Eventually ran out of gas at the Physiology section and decided to just enjoy the views and sunshine (long may it last). Hide found quickly but during retrieval process my hand came back covered in crawling insects. It seems that the cache container has now been colonised by ants and they were not particularly happy about being disturbed. Log signed and cache returned to hiding spot minus some of its residents.
A quick find whilst making use of the cycle way - greatly helped by the title and informative blurb! TFTC!!
After having not luck at Flatulence 2 we were pleased to make a quick find here. Having a great time with my sister and her kids (casaba3) while out walking our dogs. Thanks for placing and maintaining funkymunkyzone.
With a bunch of young boys and not-so-young boys in the group, the naming of this cache was always going to be a winner! all along the path Cragger and Laval were producing impressive farting noises in honour of this cache - well lets face it, they probably didn't really need an excuse!!Cache found and duly signed as Sunday Strollers for the caching teams here today. TFTCUpdating my new geo account with unlogged finds and finally logging 30 06 2024 as NurseDr.
Found whilst out with keylev, cragger and a group of cachers.
Thanks for the cache.

A few of us decided to go on a mini caching spree today. After having lunch nearby we decided to head out this way for a little walk.
There was talk (and action) all the way about various flatulence and the adults in the group were as bad (if not worse) than the children!
The cache was soon found at GZ and we were on our way. Signed as 'Sunday Strollers'.
Thanks for the cache.

Was in Onehunga & a walk was in order so headed off down the Waikaraka Cycleway/Walkway. Quick find but there were a few ants around! Thanks for bringing me to a spot I wasn't aware of, not too far from home.
Found while out for a bit of a walk on a quiet Monday afternoon with Mrs McMike2012 ... it was an easy find & quickly replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #877 for us.
Nice easy find. The cache was being used for an ant nest so cleared it out as best as I could.
