This was intended to be a Melbourne Cup numbers run on the geocycle taking in the North Lakes and Redcliffe area. Pumped up the volume as this was the first port of call. Then pumped up the tyres and away i went.

Unfortunately ayepeacee had played with my mind at previous caches for most of the morning and it took a significant amount of time before I managed to make the final part of the journey. Luckly the WP tag was located quickly and it was off to the final location Big Grin

There was a fair degree of muggle (bike kid) track construction occurring on the trail approaching the final cache site (some fairly close).[:o] Fortunately there were no muggles here today but their tools were still out on the track.

Take care if walking in here in darkness and if the kids are around it may be best not to try to seek out the cache

Out finding a few caches with Willis007 , i had read about this one last time so we tuned the radio and headed off . Love a chache with a difference , thanks guys

We were out conquering some North Lakes caches today with brownsnakemob and geoson, brownsnakemob had mentioned this one but he hadn't had the chance to do it.

We tuned into the required station and found the co-ordinates we needed for the cache. We made our way to the gz and spotted the cache quite easily. Great container, I picked one up the other day to use soon.

Thanks for the cache ayepeacee, this was great, very imaginative, a fav point from me.

Woohoo! We were saving this one to mark our 900th cache, and a very memorable cache for us to choose. Loved it! We are very fortunate to have a number of imaginative cache setters in our local area. We'll be back on the bikes on a nicer day to find some more of Ayepeacee's hides. Great cache! Cheers Ayepeacee! Left a TB.

Greetings from New Zealand. With so many favourites, this was on my 'must-do' list on our holiday in Australia. Had the radio tuned in and as we approached the right spot, almost as if by magic, Felicity came through loud and clear. The tag on the tree took a while to find - like many others the GPS wondered around a bit. I made things a bit difficult for myself by taking the wrong approach to the final location, but got there in the end. Thank you very much for putting the time and effort into creating this very creative and unique cache.

This was a great multi really enjoyed it. WP 1 was cool tuning in to get the details had to listen about three times to make sure I had them all. WP 2 took three go's to find great hide then a nice walk to GZ

What a great idea. Thanks Felicity for heading us in the right direction. Soon had the offset info in hand and headed off to the final location. This is a lovely part of North Lakes - so peaceful. Really enjoyed this one. TFTC

Found with Aussiemates. Love the tuning in to the radio thing. This was cool. Found the cache. Nice park. TFTC

Out with IolantheK doing a spot of caching. Whilst up at Mango Hill doing a spot of Golf IolantheK recommended this cache to do while we where here.

The instructions worked fine and we quickly jumped from way point to way point and finally to GZ. IolantheK had already signed the log so I went to the final GZ by myself and signed the log.

The cache is dry and in good condition.

TFTC ayepeacee great work Cool

Having not really experienced puzzle caches membsec thought it was about time we did some (greetings to ayepeacee from membsec). A 300m sprint from the tag resulted in a victory from team scottymyth. Better luck next time Ainstar. TFTC!

30-Aug-12
Scottymyth got the final find but I'll take credit for the rest, took down the coords, found the tag and struggled my way through the maths....QLD education!! A clever hide and a fun little cache. Membsec took the chance to brag about their FTF here at night!!

25-Aug-12
Got to cache area but no tag on tree just a red ribbon- tried creative geo adjustments with the hint text but wound up in Texas. On flight home now. Tired.

12-Aug-12
It's great to go hunting for something a little bit different, and this one was a lot of fun. Dialing in to 100.0 around Mango Hill, all I could hear was a Christian broadcast about marriage. Hmmm...APC's not trying to convert us all is he? Approach the coords Felcity burst on to the radio clear and crisp. Parked outside to get all of the numbers before heading off. I wonder what the neighbors think, but I'm sure one of the houses is the CO's.

The trickiest thing was finding the tag on the tree. My GPSr was bouncing all over the place, but I eventually found the tag. Ok, off to the final. I ended up on the wrong side of the fence, and had to jump back over to grab the cache. This is my favorite type of container, which was full of goodies for any kids.

Great hunt, loved it - thank you! Seems some people don't like multis, but this is a great one and can be done much more quickly then some of the CO's others. Fave point 31 coming at you!

Knowing we were attempting to get a milestone today we searched what area and what cache we wanted to do. After some discussion, it was decided we needed to try to get our numbers up today in the area to get this little clever one we had heard about. With so many favourite points, it can't be half bad Wink
Arriving, Mr Parko put the station on but we couldn't get a clear signal... I thought it was strange until we realised he had it on FM2 [:o)] the lovely Felicity told us what we wanted to hear and we were off in the direction we had just been Surprised
Arriving, we decided to have a late lunch and enjoy the area before finding the offset. The ducks were so noisy, so lunch was quick Wink
Headed off, found it quickly and did the sums. With new coords, we set off on the track and enjoyed the walk. Seems some kids must ride their bikes here often as they have made some pretty cool speed bumps and a cubby type thing in a tree, glad they weren't here today though!
Found cache quickly and was soon signing the log. This was a great milestone cache, so thanks for the efforts you have put in ayepeaceeBig Grin Another favourite point for sure!!

No. 139 (It was meant to be 140, but I've just realised that a DNF between 136 and 137 was accidentally logged as found).

I recognised the spot for the published coordinates from some information passed on to me by another cacher when doing a nearby cache. The music track in interesting and I needed to listen to the loop a few times to make sure I had written all of the numbers correctly.

I was on my way to the second waypoint, when I realised that if I found this cache straight away, it would be No. 139 and I really wanted it to be 140 (mini-milestone Wink), so I quickly stopped and got another one on the way to the second waypoint. Once at the new coordinates though, a quick look around produced the information needed to find waypoint 3. I thought about taking the track through the bush, but thanks to La Kedi's log, I decided I'd be better off (with Geobaby in capsule and Geodaughter 2) taking the concrete path and then cutting through the bush. Minor scrapes on bare arms didn't deter me from getting through to the cache [B)]! The water was still over the path near the GZ. Geodaughter 2 was extremely excited over the size of the "treasure" and I let her do a swap. She took a miniature dog figurine and left a super-bouncy ball.

Everything is safe and dry in this cache.

TFTC ayepeacee!

What a novel idea. Loved it. We managed to pick up the clues we needed for the final but after all the rain during the week the track was very slushy and under water in many places. Opted to approach from another direction which turned out pretty good. It was a nice dry approach over a bridge where we stopped to admire the ducks and swans swimming in the lake before a short bush bash to the end of the still waterlogged track to find the cache which has a large nest of very big ants to one end of it. Luckily they were not in the least voracious and hid from us rather than investigate the disturbance. Great little multi. Thanks ayepeacee

What an interesting multi! A little further than most, but worth it Smile. We collected the info from WP1 with no drama, though it did take a few moments parked right on GZ to pick up the broadcast. Put those into the GPS and noticed it wasn't far from another we'd planned to do today, so put it on hold while we grabbed a few others. Found the second waypoint easily, then grabbed one more cache before heading for the final. Hrm, underwater track! Rather than bushbash the whole way, we followed a concrete path past ducks and black swans to within 30m instead and bushbashed that. Amused to see the first track was still well underwater! Cache found safe and well. Thanks for the tour of the area Smile. TFTC, ayepeacee. =^.^=

We were with ayepeacee when got his inspiration for this cache and have been keen to find it since he placed it. Our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. Took us a few minutes at wp2 and we were hoping that it wasn't going to be too dark looking for the final gz. We enjoyed the walk through the bushland, avoiding a few puddles of mud on the way. The 'avenue' of trees looked awesome in the fading light and it added a bit of spookiness which was awesome. We knew the container we were looking for and were glad our sums added up when we saw a very likely hiding place. We loved this cache and a shout out to the awesome Sandhills FM cache outside Canberra for giving the CO the idea for this one. TNLNSL TFTC, a definite favourite point from us. Loved it long time Smile

PS - Just re-read this log - tipsy logging wtf sooooo many awesomes. Sorry my bad Cool

CACHE #900 for Teamtinda.

Looking for a good milestone cache, I'd heard about this one, and with so many Favourite points, it looked good. I sat in my car close-ish to WP1 but heard nothing but white noise, so decided it was sensible to move closer. I stopped just around the corner, figuring the neighbours would be wondering what was with that particular spot, and pleasingly Felicity was coming through loud and clear. A lady walking past with a dog gave me a bit of a look. Probably I had a big smile on my face Big Grin
Off through North Lakes, which is all new to me, to the world of WP2. I fooled around a little here, but caching logic gave me some likely spots and soon enough I was on my merry way along the track. One can only hope development will be very limited indeed right here.
The GZ was easily spotted and the cache in great condition. TFTC and good experience for our 900th cache, and guess what: another Fave point to the total.

We found it! Started the chase at around 4pm, but we left without our handheld gps, so finding the final destination was a bit of an adventure. Never the less, a fun find!!

I wish i could say i ended up finding this cache. It started with me having an hour free on the way to an appointment, so decided to get it. I was sick with a cold and a headache but determined not to waste an hour of potential caching time. i got to the second waypoint fine. then i went to what i thought was GZ, but instead id actually added the offset to both coords instead of minus from E.. so i ended up in the bush.. literally, i had to get down on my hands and knees to crawl through the scrub and under a fallen tree, which made me laugh out loud at what i was doing. here i was thinking, ayepeacee said i didnt need to go through the bush, i wonder if i went the wrong way here? anyway, arriving at supposed GZ i was lead straight to a big steel drum (one that toxic waste goes in) in the middle of the bush, filled with really yuck water. i was like, your kidding, ayepeacee put the cache in the bottom of a drum of water.. i poked around with a stick but couldnt find anything, and i wasnt willing to put my arm in it as it was dark and murky, so i did a very thorough search of the surrounding area and found nothing but spiders. i went back to the drum and decided to stick my arm in it and fish around for a cache. instead of finding a cache, i pulled my arm out decorated with mosquito larvae. Awesome. Thats when i sought expert advice, and was soon informed i had worked out my coordinates wrong. i felt really sheepish, thats the first time on a multi that id ever made a mistake in my calculations. soon i headed to my next coordinates, which long story short, was also wrong, i dont even know how i managed to get them wrong the second time! anyway because i had run out of time, i left, and returned about an hour and a half later, with the right coordinates given to me by a friend. unfortunately, muggles wouldnt leave GZ and as by then i had a splitting headache, i wasnt going to wait for them to leave so i gave in and went home.

This cache was un-real Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

I arrived at WP1 and tuned the radio in as instructed to 100.00 FM Razz. I heard some cool music coming through then I heard Felicity Wink, I listen to it a few times to make sure I got the co-ords right and off I went in the Geovan to WP2. [:o)]

I pulled up about about 30m from GZ and made my way into the bush towards WP2, looking for a "Tag" the Co-ords were spot on and located the tag very quickly. Now maths isn't my favorite subject lucky for men my phone has a calculator Big Grin, so I did the math and was on my way to the 3rd and final WP.

I followed the old track up through a row of trees, following Mr Garmins direction to GZ and again the co-ords were spot on and very quickly I had located the beast. I signed the log and carefully replaced it back into it's hidey spot and walked back to the Geovan with a big SMILE on my face, thinking, in my short time Geocaching that was a Bloody Fantastic Cache [^]

Definatly deserves one of my favorite points Smile

Someone recommended this cache on the inter-nerd so I decided to check it out today while visiting Fangsoki.

Fangsoki drove and I guided him all over the shop collecting clues from various sources.

A brilliant idea and definitely worth a favourite point.

Love the movie of the same name. Nice work and thanks for the cache.

Cheers. Left nerdy Smurf guy.

Haha! What fun this cache was!!! With one of my munchkins assissting me, we picked up the coords needed to continue our adventure and headed out to find our tree. After a bit of a stumble around in the bush we located the tag and continued on our way. Walking down the track I noticed what I thought to be a trail headed towards the final destination. So off we went.

A little way along the track we ended up very close to what munchkin described as a swamp, after a few more steps what we thought was actually ground ended up being the swamp! After a whole lot of laughter and very wet feet we finally ended up at GZ with cache in hand and not far from the real trail that we should have been following. I don't know how I do it, but I always manage to take the scenic route to finding a cache.

14/04/12 Find #856

NyletaM and I had the chance to return to this cache today after grabbing the final coordinates on the night it was released with EngPhil and Palopinto. It seems we were only a few meters from finding the required path to the GZ in the dark that night.

This morning it was a nice and easy stroll to the final co ordinates and the cache was found without problem in good condition.

This was a nice fun cache from start to finish. great concept and well executed. Thank for the cache, ayapeacee, We enjoyed it thoroughly.

Came out to pick this cache up this morning with Alkzura and the geobubs. Very glad to pick it up after our 'attempt' at the FTF failed on the night. As Alk mentioned we were only metres away from it that fateful night. Surprised

Despite all that I would like to give it a favourite point and say it's a well constructed cache with a nice bit of originality. My only complaint is all the round-abouts required to get to GZ, which we had to do twice. Twisted

Out and about today with Net88 and Brother Colin.

One of the things I do as a volunteer is at a Community Radio station, called 4RPH (1296 on the AM dial). In my Tuesday shift each week I read live-to-air from 2 newspapers, and I also do a recorded show about the strange stories you read in the papers. I love being involved there. Today being Tuesday, Net88, BC and I arranged to meet up there to begin our caching this afternoon, so this seemed very appropriate to get today.

Loved the idea of tuning in the radio. The signal was loud and clear about 200 metres away. No problem getting the details, and we headed to WP1. Very convenient parking and BC quickly had the new details. All GPS devices were prepped and we headed to GZ. Said hello to a black swan in the lake and dodged some muggles before heading down the track. GZ easily attained and the cache liberated. All contents in excellent condition.

TFTC, ayepeacee. A favourite point awarded. Must remember to bring my geospouse T-Tech to visit this one as his trade is radio technician Smile

AWESOME!!!! BRILLIANT!!!! Best cache i have done in quite some time in terms of how much effort went into it. I am really glad i did this one with Iolanthek and Brother Colin because it meant we had a car and i wouldn't have to ask the bus driver to turn the radio on Razz. The cache itself has a bit of an ant problem but nothing that a big stick doesn't solve. Thanks so much for the cache!!

1218 - What a great cache this one is! I have been watching this one since it was published and thought it was a great concept. Well today we were in the land of the 1,000 roundabouts grabbing a few recently caches and this was our second one we decided to do. We heard Felicity do her thing and then followed her instructions and after a short search had some adjusted coordinates to go searching for a prize. After a short walk through a nice piece of bushland, we came up with the cache at 4:21pm. An awesome idea for a cache and one well deserving of a favourite point. Thanks ayepeacee, we loved this one - always great to do one a bit different,

Arrived at WP1 to listen to some soothing music. Next thing you know, Felicity is calling out numbers like a race horse caller. Had them 2nd time through and confirmed they were right on the third. Off to WP2. Found our tag, completed the offset and continued on our way. Arrived at GZ and located cache and signed log.

As usual, another great cache by ayepeacee, and scores a favourite from me.

Was meeting fellow cachers here for a roadtrip further north and arrived with about half an hour to kill. I had a read through this one and traded a few traditionals for finding this one instead and very, very glad I did. My radio takes ages to change frequency so as I was driving towards posted I started getting it set up to the right numbers. As I approached eerie music slowly flickered to life through my speakers and soon I was parked out the front of the coolest waypoint I've ever come across, punching in numbers and checking them twice. This cache deserves a favourite point for the implementation for this waypoint alone, I can't imagine how you came up with the idea, I loved it. So i headed off to the spoken co-ords, through what felt like 100 roundabouts. Parked in a closeby spot and headed along the path towards the tag. In and along the bush track and after some looking spotted the tiny tag. Very nicely done also. As I stood there crunching the numbers, the mosquitoes found me. Swatting away I plugged the numbers in, which had me in some blokes front yard, hmm, let's start again. Mosquitoes redoubled their numbers but soon I had projected a waypoint that made sense. Glad to be moving away from the little bloodsuckers I headed off. I took the time on the walk to take in the area, a great little lake and all round beautiful park. Soon I was as close as I could get so hopped over the lomandra and with a spider stick leading, made my way towards the cache. Spotted the likely hide and cracked open the cache. Signed my name and recalled what an amazing cache this is and how well you've put it together. An easy favourite point from me. Well worth doing instead of several traditionals. Now off to meet some friends and head north. TFTC ayepeace Smile

#350

2nd of 2 finds today at 4:37:00 PM.

Last time I visited I couldn't find wp2, the tag, that gives the offset to the final location. I quickly found it this time after helpful hints from ayepeacee and Rong.

After doing the necessary calculations I set off along the track. Last time I was here I walked along the bush track for some inspiration. As I was walking and looking at the distance I wondered how close I got to the cache last time I was here. When I got closer I couldn't believe how close I got to the actual cache. I was less than 10 metres away!

It's always good to find these types of containers. It gave me more inspiration to hide the two of these containers I have at home. I really liked the camo.

I couldn't have picked a better 350th find.

As soon as I saw this one published, it immediatly went on my watch list!! I have heard of similar concepts interstate, but I think this is the first of this kind in Qld??

Arrived at WP1 and tuned in... some nice music.... ah hah!! there's the lovely voice of Felicity!! I stayed a while to check and recheck I heard one particular number correctly, then I popped my CD back in and headed off to the land of a thousand roundabouts!

Arrived at WP2 and found the tag quickly, then off to GZ. I followed the GPS and at one point it wanted me to jump the fence, so I did... then my GPS said "just kidding"... I then realised I had stirred up a lot of angry ants!! I jumped back over the fence and started the "get these ants off me" dance!!...

I then realised the cache was right there!!

Great work ayepeacee, definatly a favourite!

Later in the day I turned my radio on and wondered why the reception was so bad!!

Took 3 TBs.

What an unusually different cache, definitely a favourite! Loved WP1, found WP2 after a short search and was just about to set off for the cache when we heard a stomp, crackle and snap Wink.

Now there can only be one reason someone is bashing through the bush! Really nice to meet you Trekking Trev. After a consultation on the maths, a correction of the addition on my part Red Face, we set off for a joint assault on the final prize.

I must absolutely agree with Palopinto that North Lakes is most definitely the breeding ground for all the mozzies in Brisbane, they are relentless, Aeroguard is an essential for this cache.

After a short stroll the cache was quickly found and the logbook signed, swopped some TB's and back to the car we went. Thanks for the info on the other caches Trev, catch you in the bush again soon Smile

Thanks ayepeacee for a really unique experience Smile

After trying to pick the broadcast yestrday in a car with no arial I came back to day arm with a portable radio with a manual tuner and my own car the car picked up the signal and we we soon on our way. As we approach the 2nd WP My friend Marg spotted two people walking around the bush but we soon realised that there can be no other reason for anybody to be in this spot. We exchanged greetings. did the calc's for the final leg so we teamed up for the final leg. It was soon found and log signed and we had a pleasant walk back shareing caching stories. A very interesting Multi. TFTC.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong with this one. I gave finding wp2 two attempts. I returned to wp1 after I couldn't find the tag at wp2. After double checking the numbers at wp1, I confirmed I had the correct numbers for wp2. It still didn't yield a tag at wp2. There's a bush path nearby so I think I'm in the right area...

I tired the hint but I couldn't get it to equal something meaningful in the field. I will try to do that tonight.

I wish another cacher turned up to help as seems to be the case at this cache lately.

It's a shame that I couldn't find it as I wanted to leave a TB as well as another day to my days caching.

Saw this one published and immediately planned an attack. Managed to convince totalube to join the hunt and the plan was made. Big Grin Expected it to be awesome - and it was!! [^] WP1 was perfect, no hitches, crystal clear reception. Brilliantly done. Arrived at WP2 to see a familiar looking logo on the rear windscreen of a nearby car! [^] Great to catch up with Engphil, Palopinto and family Big Grin. A sleepy geochild prevented Palopinto from joining us immediately but Tolu of Totalube Wink, Engphil and Loki set off in search of GZ after Totalube located WP2 with Engphil watching on. Followed the paths to GZ and there was the well-stocked cache Smile. Back to Palopinto and everyone was awake and ready for a stroll now so Totalube and son and Loki went off to the playground and Palopinto, Engphil and kidlets returned to the cache. A very well-done multi, certainly lived up to my expectations. Nice area, cache in great condition, and great to catch up with friends Smile. Definitely the cure for a crazy week! Thanks ayepeacee

Loki told me of the novel WP method of this one, so I had to give it a go, and today is another day to fill in my calendar.

SO after a bit of confusion to where exactly Loki works, we were on our way (stopping for food, though Wink).

The first WP was great, and would be greatly appreciated by parents with sleeping children in the car.

Then we were off to WP2, where Loki spotted a TB on a car, which was EngPhil. Together we found WP2 and make a short trek to GZ.

The cache was found easily and it is nice to see an ammo box as the container Smile

Log book signed and I left my new pathtag for the next finder.

Thanks, a great multi Smile

Our first visit to this cache was a dismal failure. Some back story, if you please.

We were having dinner at NyletaM's and Alkzura's place, to celebrate NyletaM's mother's 60th birthday, when the notification for this cache came through. We'd finished eating and were just kind of rolling around in a food coma when we decided to have a crack at it.

We bundled all the geokids into the cars, hoping they'd fall asleep while we were driving. They did, but one of mine woke up just as EngPhil and the others got out to start ferreting around for the cache (after having successfully managed the first waypoints). No luck - a mistake of some kind involving the offset meant that a fruitless search ensued while I consoled a crying baby. :/

After being voraciously munched by about a million mosquitoes (by the way, I was once again reconfirmed in my opinion that North Lakes is the sole breeding ground for Brisbane's entire mosquito population) we tried another location only to fail again. We finally had to call it a night at nearly 10pm, all of our kids had had enough (and frankly, so had I, seeing as I was now clawing all the skin off my legs and feet!).

So today, armed with better mapping, and daylight, we set out again to find this cache. It was made all the easier by running into totalube and Loki! Hooray! So after a quick find and a little chit chat, we managed to redeem ourselves.

Note to self - NEVER GO TO NORTH LAKES WITHOUT AEROGUARD. I mean it, self. Seriously.

TFTC, it was a really nice little bit of bushland and a good camo job on the cache Smile

Find #693 at 13:59.

Aahhh, that trail is much more obvious in the daylight. Especially when you revisit the waypoint. Red Face Alkzura and I had found the tag on the night of publication but somehow got hopelessly lost looking for a path that was there all along to get to GZ.

Today, Palopinto and I had just parked near the second waypoint, but with one sleeping kid and another not keen for a walk, we were just about to drive off and leave it for another day. I think I even had the car in gear.. when another familiar vehicle zoomed past. Ah ha, maybe we should hang around for a minute then Wink

I wandered up to greet the newcomers as Palopinto waited in the car. Heading into the waypoint, I watched as two Totalubes and a Loki searched for the elusive tag. I was just contemplating giving them a spoiler when Totalube found it. Smile Numbers calculated by Loki, and they agreed with mine -- excellent. [^] Off we go then... ah, now there's a handy little path... Wink

We all wandered down a lovely bush path together, and soon spied a rather obvious spot... and Loki dived in and grabbed the nice big cache. [^] Excellent work. The log was passed around for all to sign.

Business done, we trekked back out the way we came (to the disappointment of the junior Totalube, who wanted to go bush-bashing...) and back to the cars. Wherein it was discovered that the sleeping geobub was now very much awake and having a feed.

So... after some pleasant conversation, Palopinto and I, along with the kids, said our goodbyes to Totalube and Loki, and took a(nother) trip back to the waypoint and cache so another find could be claimed.

Somehow I ended up walking about 300m with a baby on my back AND a three-year-old in my arms. Ah, well, I needed some exercise Smile

Thanks for the cache, ayepeacee. Love that first waypoint -- definitely something original there! [^] The final walk was also very pleasant, a lovely little trail well worth the trek. All in all a great little multi. Another favourite point for this cache! [^]

Started this cache Thursday but only got the first waypoint done as we had waypoint blindness for the 2nd waypoint and after an email to the owner who sent a good hint thanks ayepeacee, we found it within a few minutes this morning and the cache at 10.30 am. Watch out for the bull ants nests along the path. Log dry. TNLN TFTC Thanks ayepeacee

What a fantastic cache. I had a simillar idea for a cache - but your idea was excecuted a lot better Razz

I had no problems collecting the first WP. I plugged it into the GPSr and moseyed over to next WP. At WP2, I found what was required after a small hunt. (This WP in great condition). I did my calcs and had a new GZ.

The walk to GZ was pleasant even if it was dark. The frogs certailny seemed happy. Leaving the path and heading to GZ was a bit different. That area gets a bit "Blair Witch" on you Razz I found the cache safe and sound. I dropped in two trackables and grabbed the GC to move it along.

A well-executed little multi ayepeacee - good job. Earns a favourite easily. TFTC Smile

As i read the cache page when this one was published last night, i thought … 'this is a must do' Big Grin. Just so happened, i was at Murrumba Downs this morning, so on my way home, i decided to pay it a visit.

I arrived at WP1 and adjusted the FM dial as instructed Smile. There was some sleepy music at first Wink, and then i heard the 'lovely' Felicity telling me the next set of co-ordinates Surprised. Wow .. how did you do that [?]. I stayed and listened to the loop a few times to make sure i had the right numbers, before punching them into the GPS'r and following 'Karens' directions to WP2 Razz

After a few minutes, i was parking the car about 60m from where i had to be, and followed the arrow into the bush Big Grin. I had forgotten to read the page again to refresh my memory, and was looking for a regular sized container initially .. which obviously did not come to hand Sad. I looked here and there, up and down .. and that's when i spotted what i should have been looking for [:o)]. Geez … that was lucky. I did some quick calculations, and headed off again.

I found an old track in the bush behind the WP Surprised, and followed it towards GZ. There were a few muddy puddles that i had to walk around, but it took me to exactly the right spot, where the treasure was found easily [^]. I signed the log and swapped trackables before returning it to it's hide, and walked back to the car using a more civilised route Wink

What a fantastic concept for a multi ayepeacee, i really enjoyed this one [^] … very imaginative. A favourite point for sure. Would love to know how you did it though [?][?][?]. I took the 1st Anniversary GC, and left Polly wants a Cracker TB

Yes!!!! Our first FTF and we did it in the dark. Also the 101st cache for us. looks like the scratchie prize yielded us a small gain - thanks for that. This was an amazing cache, brilliant at the beginning and then required careful work to find the cache. Thanks for making the end of our day the best.

Well, we (Palopinto Alkzura, NyletaM, geokids and I) tried but failed in the dark to find the path to GZ. Kids we restless, mozzies were ferocious, so when membsec's log came through, we decided to call it a night. Looking at the maps back home, we now see the path we missed. Congrats to membsec; we can't have missed you by much! We'll be back to claim this one another day. Love the first waypoint -- very clever!! [^]
