Looking with geoson on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. Couldn't find any sign of the cache, but the area has recently been mowed by the council, a council worker may have found it and removed? Lots of surfers out today and a few muggles pulling in to watch them made it hard to look!
Looked everywhere but didn't find it and suspected someone has taken it ;(
Unbelievably windy and cold at the beach today, so glad this was a quick find. Opened the cache and all three sheets of the log blew off in different directions. A mad dash to round them up, signed and restored to the safety of the container. TFTC yenchies.
Great views form this spot found the cache then had to make use of the seat until the person who pulled up in the car park while we were signing the log book moved on.
Thanks venchies for the hide,
Regards The Coffee's.

Quite a lot of surfers out this afternoon and a few in the car park packing up. Ended up having to shield La Kedi so she could retrieve the cache. Thanks yenchies.
Well, the surfers were out in force today despite the cold conditions - so many of them that any whale, seal or penguin would've been crowded out! Nice long beach made for a pretty view. TFTC, yenchies. =^.^=
Wandering our way to the Oz Mega from Wodonga. What a great area to get out and about to grab some of these great caches. No surfers about tonight but a great opportunity with no muggles to make this an easy find. Thanks for the cache yenchies.

Quick find despite the numerous muggles going back and forth to beach. Good co-ords helped for the quick find. We were looking for a mint tin... it is bigger! lol TNLNSL Thanks

A lovely spot - its a pity the original cache has been replaced by a smaller, more basic one.
Down at Port Elliot for the GZ event and was asked by Knightyme to do some caches so off we went and JJ52 too.
This cache ended up being a saga and JJ52 has explained it all perfectly! Refer to her log for the details.

Out for a caching afternoon with Ismartis and JJ52 on a nice sunny day.
See JJ52's log. For reference Mint tins are classed as Micro ... even if they are as common as the sand on the beach.

Was down at Pt Elliott with Ismartis for the nearby event and decided to do a bit of caching with Knightyme before we headed home.
This was another pretty part of the coast on our drive around Middleton. Got to GZ and there were 4 muggles who looked pretty settled right where we wanted to be.
Well what to do...Ismartis decided we should get out of the car and go and look out at the sea and hope our presence would make them leave. [?]
We studied GZ and came up with a couple of likely spots, but could not look as the muggles were showing quite an interest in what we were doing. Bummer...we might have to give this one a miss.
Headed back to the car and as soon as we were in the car the muggles decided to leave...what the [?]
So back out we get and head towards our likely spots and Ismartis soon came up with the cache, which wasn't a regular as we had been expecting.
Thanks for the cache yenchies.

Found it within seconds but didn't get to sign log book as we didn't have any pens. The hint really gives this away
Lots of muggles around, but the cache retreival was done without suspicion [8)].
TNLNSL.
We wanted to replace the cache, but there was a couple who decide to sit in their car and look out to sea, right where we needed to go .
So after some waiting and further consideration, we went off to find a couple of others before returning to the area and replacing it [:o)].
Thanks Yenchies.

I was lucky enough to get a phone call to see if I wanted to head out for the day with a wonderful group of people to locus cache some smileys.....so what could I say to that offer but YES!! [^]
I picked up Honeysucker who gracefully allowed himself to be a passenger in Harry and deal with my driving and off we went to meet Mogni of the fantastic giggle, Aussie M&M of the kind heart, great hugs and tall stature and Brisal5 of the split pants.
By the time Honeysucker and I left the others to head home, I had 38 smileys and 4 DNFs but the laughter and fun the group shared all day far outweighed those few missed smileys!
Yes, the view was amazing from here
As per previous logs, we found, we repaired, we replaced.

Back in Adelaide for work on Monday, so Sunday must be caching day. Lucky for me Aussie M & M, brisal5, honeysucker and locus cache are keen for a full day of hunting and laughing
Another great spot

Mogni was back in town for the weekend so a GOTHS escapade to Victor was Planned. I was lucky enough to score a seat in the Gothmobile with both Aussie M & Ms and mogni. We were soon to be joined by Honeysucker and Locus Cache in Harry.
We found the eclipse tin referred to in so many logs. After an extensive search we didn't find anything else so decided that must have been the cache. replaced the log and then hit it at GZ that fitted with the clues. Thanks yenchies.

A recent trip to Victor alerted us to just how many caches there are down there, so a trip was planned for mogni, brisal5 and the Aussies. It was a magnificent 16hrs of sunshine (until sunset), laughter and adventure and at the end of the day we had around 80 finds, 2 FTFs and a handful of DNFs. For most of the day we had Locus and Honeysucker in tow, who added more fun and laughter to a great day out.
OK... there were very few places to search and we searched them all. We too found the open and empty eclipse container near the fence. After a bit of deliberation it was decided to turn the eclipse tin into the cache so a log and pastic bag was added and hidden in accordance with the cache details. TFTC yenchies.

DNF for us today. If it was in an eclipse mints tin I would say it has been muggled...
No luck for us tried both gps locations .lots of whales to see instead !!
Found during a little walk along the beach while the olds were too busy talking to their friends to notice me missing for a quick cache grab I dont think its a regular anymore. It has been replaced for a much smaller container but quite simple to spot if you take in the clue TFTC

Down to see some whales and saw two mothers with calves about 200m off the beach. Found the cache in good condition. TFTC yenchies.
It's gone. New work here so took liberty of replacing. 3rd post. Will update later. Clear skies.
Well this one was expected to be awol. So armed with a suitable small replacement, we tweaked the coords a bit. Not much. You'll still find it with the published but yenchies, do you mind altering slightly. Hope that's OK coz the original spot has been flattened.
Thanks to yenchies and clear skies from TeamAstro.

found it near the carpark on an evening walk we took the donkey and replaced it with a shell!!!
Early morning walk along Middleton Beach with Izdog to get this one as a quick find thanks to the clue. No one around yet. This was our 333 rd find. Thanx
Cache found in the last place we looked, which was as usual not the first place we looked. I left my swaps in the Pahero and I did not have anything of equal value in my pockets. Thanks for the cache guys, we love your work.

easy find today. In fact the container was quite clearly visible even though placed in bushes. Sorry, did not sign as a couple of muggle cars were in the carpark watching me. Will return and sign at a better time.

What is there to do after bagging out on cockles and catching a few waves ... caching on a 45 degree day ! Nice work yenchies and a quality location for checking out the surf. A great spot to visit and take in the views while Sir Maxy frolicked in the shallows (under Mrs O's supervision, of course). TFTC.
Found on a great day with perfect sunshine. This was my old stomping ground as a kid as we had a shack above the bay at Middleton prior to mains power being available (mid 1950's)
The container was out in the open but not muggled.
Signed log, left TB Kiwi Peace Keeper.

Our first find for the day after some earlier DNFs due to caches being off our radar due to high water levels. Very windy today. Great views from here. TFTC
Cool windy day out but took lots of photos and saw a few whales and dolphins enjoying the surf. TNLNSL TFTC
Found while stopping for lunch on our cycle from Port Elliott to Goolwa with the kids on this fantastic cycleway. The kids played down on the beach and we met lots of cyclists here while we munched on our sarnies. Lots of sponges washed up on the beach below, and 4 surfers having fun out on the waves. Sun still beaming down...lovely! Picked up TB to drop off at another beach - shouldn't be hard round here! TFTC.
About the only spot in Middleton not full of muggles watching the 2 whales in the bay. And one of the few caches that weren't muggled (that's our excuse for not finding them!) A great view of the surf beach made this the perfect place to drop off the Kombi TB.
Not a good day for surfing, fishing and whale watching though we did manage to catch a shark in the cache. Took TB. Nice curry pie from the Middleton Bakery. Thanks yenchies for the cache.
Found it!
Found we didn't need to walk on the grass.
Left a shark to watch the sea.

After waiting for a muggle to leave, we looked and looked but couldn't find the cache
Cool weather kept the muggle factor low so this was an easy find with Deenifty!! Thanks yenchies for the hide!
Visited this one on my morning jaunt, only to leave empty-handed. Visited again with both sets of eyes on the task and Mr Draynester had it quickly in hand.
Found by Mary & David at 1545. Loved the design of the seat. Some areas of the surf were chocolate brown. Couldn't tell if it was mud or seaweed. Quite a few surfers were out there despite the colour. Never tire of the sound of the waves. Picked up a pathtag. Our thanks to yenchies.
Went in search for this cache with Sneekypeak, but unfortunately couldn't find it. The day was extremely windy and we looked as best we could before the rain started to settle in. Muggles about so we retreated to the car, once they dispersed we braved the wind and rain for one last look but to no avail.... Will have to try this again when next in the area....
Found with my Shatzy on a weekend get away. Sat and had lunch on the seat while watching the waves. Thanks for the cache
We sat on the nearby seat and ate lunch. What a lovely day to be near the ocean. We are lucky we could make a weekend of it.
