Had trouble when trying to find this cache.
Exceptional amount of plants and groundcover made it impossible to find any thing except rubbish.
I used an umbrella as a tool to dig away the plants which turned out to be bad idea because I skewered my thumb through the nail with one of the umbrellas metal spokes.
Lost lots of blood and all I gained from this cache was a trip to A&E.
Recommend that better clues be given as 3 Cache hunters have not been able to find it. Is it still there????????

Nope, couldn't find this one. Found lots of broken beer bottles though. Couldn't get an accurate fix and if it is well hidden then it could be anywhere there. Might try again one day once I see someone else has found it so we know it is still there
Three of us could not find this cache. Too much tree cover to gain any accuracy. Gave up in frustration after about half an hour. Given the way this cache is described as being hidden and the tree cover I suggest perhaps a more telling clue - will try again if this happens.
This cache was nice and easy, got within 1 meter with the GPS. Took CD forgot to add a playing card, will return the CD with some pics of myself and Rockbuddy doing some other outdoor activities. When you find this CD again please add some pics of your own.
Cheers,
Dirk.

found this cache quite easily 2nd one for the day left a packet of two minute noodles didnt take anything ,today was a very wet day so i got a bit wet scrambling around the undergrowth for this cache
cheers

Certainly a lot of rummaging around for this one, and lost some blood getting tangled up amongst those rocks! I'd give 2 to 2.5 for this terrain. Forgot to bring stuff so didn't take stuff.
Darned hard to find. Little thicket of scrub on a small rise. You'd think you could flush it out in a few minutes. Hmmm...
Another wet Easter in Auckland. Nothing better than scrabbling through wet undergrowth on hands and knees looking for a little bucket.
Had to concentrate very hard at getting good GPS resolution, and trying from different angles to reduce positional error. It took a long while...
Thanks for the cache!

Had to come back today and have another go. Noticed Steve (ariwa) sniffing around... no doubt he was after MY Starwars Card
Much better today, the eTrex went straight to within 5m with 7m accuracy... still took 10 mins plus to find though
Took the SW card and left a pen set (the case for the pens was too big to fit in the tub, email me if you want it)
Dog friendly spot, but not really eTrex friendly
Nice work AKA

Nice location but no go! Wouldn't even know where to start looking even with 5m accuracy (I don't know what accuracy I had while I was out there). Would have stayed an hour or two to search around the fauna but I had to go.
Couldn't find it... don't know what the deal was, but the eTrex was worse than usual today. There are literally thousands of places in this small piece of bush that would be perfect for hiding a cache. I'll be back for the Starwars Card
