Good Day,

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Well, the threat to archive this cache after I performed some maintenance on it is beyond belief. Sure, it might not be in keeping with GC.coms rules, but it's also very unAustralian.

Too good a piece of art not to have a cache on, so given the DNFs of late, I decided to do a good turn, and replace the cache. But can someone come out with a can of rust coloured paint please. It stands out like nothing else at the moment, but should be good.

Cheers

We left the snow mobile at home as you suggested and had no problems arriving at GZ in our geomobile, it is yet to let us down. We feel that the art work could represent sunset or sunrise with a few embellishments, either way it is pretty neat.
As I am down to one useable wing and hubby being the taller he retrieved and signed the cache. Thanks for showing us this art and a cache to boot.

So there I was sitting next to the pool after a dip thinking I needed to take the rubbish to the tip when it occurred to me that the lawn needed mowing again! [:(!]

An hour later I was at the tip unloading a trailer load of lawn clippings and rubbish and I decided I would reward myself with a cache. We've driven past this one on a number of occasions always promising to pick it up next time. Pulled up right next to GZ on the way out and a quick search soon revealed the silhouette of something not quite right.

Signed the log and quicky retreated back to the AC and headed home for another dip in the pool! Big Grin

Took much longer to find than it should have Red Face. Neat piece of artwork - right up Mr Wingaap's alley if he ever visits up here. Logbook was fine today and all was well with the cache. The sea of ibis' at the dump is always amazing. Dump ducks indeed. Thanks ACME_Caching

I rather liked this bit of artwork. I had been caching with a few Townsville families when we stopped off here on the way home to get a 4-team find for Geosportz 2012. Once the log had been signed, we chatted for another hour (!!!) before saying goodbye and heading off. TFTC, quite an interesting spot

Found this cache tonight after Cat and Bear decided to grab a few more caches around the area. It was about 1845 when we got to the site. Parked the car in the dark and the using the existing lightening cache was sighted by Cat and grabbed by Bear. A good joint effort. Thanks for placing a cache here its a good spot and the art is interesting Smile.

Still lots of water around GZ from the recent rains, so it wasn't all that easy to get to the base of the art work. Middle of the night is definitely a good time to look for this one, you don't even need a torch, because the cache site has it's own street lamp.

Always nice to find some new caches in Townsville. I drive along this road a lot when I'm up here and always admire the enormous refuse dump with its many "tip chooks" (ibis). I knew where this was going to be so pulled up and went in without the GPSr finding it in a few minutes. Interesting 'yart' - first time I've had a proper look at it.
Thanks!
