Tftc, very peaceful spot. Travelling with kittykazar and blue raptoer, signed the log as pkb
Brought my trackables Blue Leo & Red Dice for a visit to the farm & to see their mate Angry Turtle.
Thanks for the nostalgia & the detour.

Grey Nomads, now totally sick of the covid hold up time, and then more time in Brisbane for knee surgery. So now with the blessing of surgeons and physios, we hit the road again, and can get back to placing yellow smilie faces around Australia (Queensland for now)
Doing a few Kays around SEQ before we have to go see the doctor again, so filling in a few gaps on our map.
Camped at the weir, and out for what looks like might be a very interesting circuitous caching route. I was not proven wrong..... Interesting hides with interesting stories.....
Beautiful day for a drive (even tho it is cold and windy) We enjoyed your childhood memories. Road work at the crossing make it less likely that next time water rises, your bus will be stopped. We left a TB who has been with us since South Australia (pre-Covid) and has had a bit of a checkered past. Hope he gets to see more of Queensland now. EDIT, I dropped the wrong one off. this will correct
Thanks Brusue for the detour, the story and the hide.

Woohoo! Grabbing the unloved here. Cache is great condition with some good trinkets inside.

Relocated the container as the tiger pear near the original position was creating some problems.

A little tricky was scrounging around for awhile. Only saw cactus on way out -well pieces of it growing on the ground-glad we left geo I car for this one. TFTC
Felt like looking for a few caches, so put my geodog Scruffy in the car and headed to the Clifton/Pitsworth area for the day.
This one took longer than should have and since I really don't (well am s..t scared of snakes) wasn't overly keen to look in some places.
But, with the help of a stick, found the container and signed.
Scruff stayed in the car for this one, just to many grass seeds & burs that could get in her coat for my liking in the area.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Had a look around for about half an hour before I gave up on this one. I even read previous logs looking for clues. Someone mentioned jumping cactus' nearby, and I couldn't see any cactus' at all so thought I was in the wrong place. So I drive home, about an hour, get inside take my boots off and find a piece of cactus stuck in my jeans legs. So I was in the right place and Im very glad I was wearing good boots and jeans today.
We took the advice of smiley1982 & after scratching around for a few minutes we had cih. Tnln sl tftc Brusue xo
TFTC! Sheer determination got me there with this sneaky find. If you enter from the correct side, you won't get jumping cactus. Trust me, as I went in the opposite side and got attacked. My advice, take a stick and start scratching. Co-ordinates are spot on!
A great story to go with this cache
Yours truly had to walk a couple of km's to the skool bus stop to head for primary skool.
Fortunately there was a railway line at the bus stop which provided great entertainment,
either from hiding in the drain underneath the tracks if we were lucky enough to have a goods train appear,
or retrieve out one cent pieces from the tracks after they had been squashed by a train
When I graduated to High Skool,
the skool bus actually stopped at our front gate
TFTC at the olde bus stop

On a cache day run with Youngoldfellow and Brother Colin. After some cooler weather we have a beautiful warm day for our drive. Clever hide. After all the dry weather it was wonderful to see all the green grass and surface water beside the roads.
It is all the stories about the spots we visit that I enjoy. Tftc
We hunted around for a while and eventually scratched up the cache TFTC
Today we explored Millmerran and surrounds with Gullivers Travels54 using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. Took some time but we came up with the goods.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Thanks for the cache. Great spot to wait for the bus. Took the dinosaur, left another dino. Found with gsbeemergirl.
After a failed attempt last weekend, I came again with a previous finder. It still took us forever to find thanks to all the leaf litter! Very few cactus around, so that is always a positive, Also, no wasps this time! Cache found, log signed, facetimed hubby to show him where it was! Phew. An unloved cache for me too! TFTC Brusue!
We had to abandon the search even though I was sure we were close to finding it. The small prickly pear plants with terrible long thorns drove us out. Our shoes were covered in thorns which we had to remove with pliers.
Enjoying our drive around some back roads today.
Boy! What a stump that is! Tried to imagine kids climbing up to watch for the bus. Must've been fun.
Found the cache easily enough. All in very good condition.
We were grabbed by the ankle high cactus as we were leaving GZ. They wouldn't let go. Had to flick them off with a stick. No harm done tho'.
Thanks for the cache Brusue.

After going to the 2015 Mega Event last week in Stanthorpe, we thought we'd go camping again this weekend at the free camp at Yarramalong Weir and head out the Felton Food Festival this weekend . We weren't disappointed at either event or campground [^]
And going camping meant we had Saturday spare to explore the area and pick up those caches that aren't on the major routes
Picked up your cache here today along the river, that was almost dry. Unfortunately geoson picked up some of those nasty cacti below the end of his jeans and through his socks - so WATCH FOR THE CACTI here!!! Nasty...
Nevertheless, Thanks for taking us along the drive around here Brusue; we passed quite a few very small towns with very small schools today. Must have been fun growing up around these parts.

We are camping for a couple of nights at Yarramalong Weir.
We took a drive around the nearby area & picked up a couple of caches.
I once used to catch a school bus on small country farmyards, so it bought back memories for me.
Thanks for placing this cache Brusue

Our second attempt at this but the first search didn't warrant a DNF because we were barely out of the car when the geokid stood barefoot onto some prickly pear! Needless to say the mission was aborted. But here I am again and after just a short search the cache was in my hand - a quick find . TFTC Brusue

Out for a long drive today, 400+km and 24 caches later, round trip.
This was the first stop. The country side around here is so flat.
Thanks for the cache. Took the TB as well.

Sneaky hide in snake country. Takes some nerve to look up hollows but was a good search. Well done brucesue
A nice little spot. Spent a bit of time crawling around but not too bad on a warm Autumn morning. TFTC
Beware a shy but active red belly black living close by!!! Have taken the Bee-Ware Geocoin for a long distance excursion.

Oh dear, I had planned a few caches out this way working for my St Paddy’s Day Dash. I plan these in a software program that came with the GPS and have planned to work my way closer to Warwick on a bit of a zig zag. Unfortunately my in car nav has other ideas and keeps sending me out to the Gore Highway, I have now driven through Pampas 3 times this morning, Pittsworth once and Millmerran twice and it isn’t even 9AM yet.
After spotting an escort vehicle parked on the side of the road, I dropped the spped right back as I approached the GZ, not sure who got the biggest surprise, me ot the driver of the combine harvester as he popped out of the scrub after a river crossing as it wouldn’t fit across the nearby bridge.
This was a fairly easy find and I grabbed a couple of pathtags for my collection.
I also dropped off a traveller that I have had in the cache bag way too long.

Thanks for the cache Brusue.

Found at 1330. Quick find. TN SL. Left some of my pathtags. Number Thirteen cache find for the day and I do not think that number is unlucky for me as I like friday the thirteenth. Only one car crossed the bridge whilst I was at GZ. Co Ordinates virtually spot on. I only had about a meter to walk to find it from where my GPSr indicated ground zero. No cats but definitely signs of animals being in the area.
This one on my return to home from Warwick to have a go at the three in the middle of nowhere. I Left home at 0400hours to drive 150klm to my first cache of the day. Had a plan and nearly stuck to it but as I finished up pretty close to Warwick decided to do three on the South side of warwick on the way to Stanthorpe. 12 for the day for a total distance of 670Klm and got home at 1600hours. Plenty of rest stops. Light drizzle most of the day.

#499 & Joint FTF with Krossbo @ 1405hrs.
When we arrived at GZ, I was sure I had spotted the likely hiding spot of the treasure straight away Making our way to the likely spot, we had a look but there was nothing there [:o] So began the search. We looked, and looked, and LOOKED!!! We even widend our search . . . But still nothing [:(!] Hmmmm . . . . . .
Next thing we heard a bike and a local stopped to see if we were ok. After asking questions about the area (from info we gathered from the cache discription), we soon discovered that the "local" was your dad!!! He told us we were in the right area but that he had know clue what we were actually looking for, or where it was hidden With renewed hope of finding the cache we began a more methodical search & BINGO!!!! I stuck gold!!! And we were greeted with a nice blank sheet!!! [^] Yippee!!! we had got FTF!!! It really wasn't as hard as we made it be.
Took TB "Journey to Africa".

Took a little while to find this little sucker but after talking to the local farmer who filled us in on all the local history and crawling around on our hands and knees muddtrax finally had the prize in her hands. A clean log was found and we were glad to have the FTF TFTC
