Out looking for fairy doors with my daughters, and we found one in this reserve. We've found this cache before, so thought we'd check up on it while we were here - as others have said, it's missing...
I was in the area so stopped to search for this cache. Had no issue finding the right location, but no cache to be found.
One thing I have really noticed while driving around this area is how steep many of these roads are. The North Shore isn't flat! I have my e-bike in the car but it's staying there too. No problem with the cache, Just had to re-adjust my height a bit and I had it hand.
Detoured over this way this morning to grab a couple of caches to continue my daily streak (Day #443) and this was a nice quick find even in the pre-dawn darkness. TFTC
Thought this one was going to be tricky after an initial quick didn't turn up anything. But the cache was soon spotted. It really is the odd thing out.
#4989. Up in Auckland on holiday for a few days staying with family. Decided today would be the day I would crack 5000 cache finds and headed over to the North Shore to locate 21 caches. The weather almost upset the mission with several heavy showers falling through the day and some thunder. Also traffic was busier than expected and those yellow lines on the road side did not help me with parking close to caches. But got there in the end. Parked nearby and wandered over to the GZ counting as I went (as per hint). But could not see any cache. Has it been muggled? Then I checked at a different level and hey presto there is the cache. Signed the log and safely returned the cache to the same spot. Thanks for the cache Aztec Gold.
Easy find... first of the day... trying to get three done before thunderstorms forecast to arrive... SL THANKS
Was over this way at lunch time, so made a quick detour. Good hint, nice easy find, cheers
Last time i came on an evening walk and there were a lot of people around so decided to return another day. Today I came around mid day and it's deserted making it easy for me to search and find. tftc
Our first one! Nice and easy for my little ones and a great little spot to play afterwards. Bring a ball for some hoops
I was in the area so I thought I would stop in to revisit one of the first caches I ever found.
A quick look and I had the cache in hand, but it wasn't where I remembered it being nor the same container. After reading Aztec Golds note I understood.
Replaced where I found it.
Thank you for this cache Aztec.

I have replaced the log book and evicted the local slug family. The tree has grown a lot since I first placed this cache so I have moved it so it is location is more accessible.
Happy Geocaching

First one we found!! Took us a while but we got there. ended up sitting on the fence!! There where lots of ants inside and 2 ear-phone buds! Log book very wet & slimey so didn't open. Had fun tho!!
I found the cache on the ground with the label facing up. Water entered the cache and soaked the log. I placed it in the most likely hiding spot according to the hint and placed it so it might start to dry out. TFTC.
Nice easy find, we thought it might be gone due to recent hedge trimming, but nope there it was bugs and all!
A trip up from Tauranga because the missus had to visit the Gluten Free & Allergy Show. I took the opportunity to grab as many caches as I could while she was indulging on interesting food samples. While she was in the warm and dry event center, I was out in the occasional rain downpours of typical Auckland style, but it didnt put a dampener on my hunt.
I arrived here and it was still raining. I thought how hard can this be with those good instructions, so I thought I would be there and back into the car quickly. BUT...
Although the find was easy, I felt very exposed as the family lounge window was looking out over the park and the whole family were just there. The log book was really wet and someone had turned the bag inside out so the ziplock no longer worked. The wet log book disintegrated in my hands, so I removed it and replaced it with a new one which I had in my pocket. I turned the bag the right way so it was a little more waterproof.
By the time I had done all this, I was really wet and returned to the car dripping. So what I say, its all part of the fun.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Both StreetWalker and I are keen to fill our "Finds for each day of the year" grid with double figures. A big ask as a rule, but while we are in new caching fields, pretty easy to achieve. January is a pretty good month but this morning we discovered with horror that today both of us needed several caches to get to double figures for Jan 8! We hurriedly raced out the door before the predicted rain started, but the minute we got in the car the drizzle started. Luckily just a light drizzle.
The bougainvillea was in full flower, cool, but knew to be wary as they can have thorns. Thought this may be out of my reach, but no worries! TFTC.

I remember caching years ago but couldnt remember what caches they were. After a bit of investigating we found a couple of them. Found with stjfec while on holiday. I have put the date back to the real date I found the cache. I wrote in the log and placed the cache back as found. TFTCSL, Thanks Aztec Gold for this Traditional cache and keeping the game rolling.#1/2 real first find?! (I think) back in 2015 __ ?????????????? __
took a bit of acrobatics for my 5'3" self but was a great find! lovely location
Fun find... princess thought it was cool that the box looked like something else!
Took a wee while to find but nice hiding spot Right about the cockroaches, & no pen or room left to log.

Our century cache. Small cute park with a nice little hide. We thought may be the camo can merge well to a better surrounding.
Log is full and ours was the last to sign. Need replacement immediately.

Quick find. Is in full view of several muffle houses so just as well it was quiet today. Tftc
Searched for a while before I read the hint. Then it was a quick find. Park is pretty muddy at the moment, but luckily I have waterproof shoes!
First on for the afternoon. nice cute cache. easy find and not too high for me. TFTC.
What a cool cache. The littlest Dispatcher found the right spot, but the biggest Dispatcher had to get it. TNLNSLTFTC!
Once we read the hint, and saw the trees, we were able to leave the GPS behind and find them on our own. Cool cache. TFTC
Timing couldn't have been more perfect. Family leaving as we stroll up. GPS spot on and cache quickly signed and replaced. Time for a quick play on the equipment for kiwiwscot before more muggles arrive. TFTC
I found 'a kumara' at 1340Hr on 20Jan2015. After counting to six, it was an easy find - it helped being 1.9m tall! I even managed to find the space to leave a 1966 6d!!
