Our first visit to the area and the plan was to grab as many caches in this series as I could. Managed around 15 before we had to head back. All were found without issue....and most of the time the views of the Loch were great.
Many thanks for the caches and the fun in finding them. Sadly, no sign of Nessie today......

Thankfully didnt venture to far down the trail. Signs of other usage further on and a quick find. TFTC
Some days later we are driving again on Haggis Highway and could find this

We had been for a drive down the east side of Loch Ness and were now heading back up the west side to Inverness where we were staying...stopping for a few caches along the way. This was a nice quick little stop with the cache easily found.

This years holidays took us to Scotland, where we did a nice 2-week-drive through the country. Although the weather could have been better we had a very nice time and enjoyed the nice castles, the impressing landscape and of course many of the delicious Scottish Single Malt Whiskys .
Starting from Edinburgh we drove to Stirling an then up the eastcoast over Inverness to Ullapool. From there to the Isle of Skye and over Glencoe back to Edinburgh, where we spent the last 3 days of our holidays.

Ever since Fort Augustus had proved to busy to stop at we'd been looking for a half decent viewing point to enjoy our picnic, but they are few and far between on loch ness it seems. So when we saw this spot we were finally able to satisfy our rumbling tummies.... And grab a quick unexpected cache too!
