We picked up CrackerGirl up from the airport and are doing a few local caches in the area before heading back up to Geraldton. This was another cache that took longer than it should have but this one was definitely for a reason. There was great camo here We really enjoyed the hunt and also the views that are afforded from gz. Many thanks ROSS1957 for the fantastic hide in the nice location, it definitely gets a favourite point from us.
Our first geocache find of this day was not meant to be this one, but that it how it turned out. We had started several hours earlier with breakfast at a favourite of ours on the highway up to Perth. Once we arrived we headed in this general directions to do the Adventure Lab cache that runs along the shore here. While here we grabbed a few normal geocaches. The walk to this cache took us past a couple of boating clubs and to an oddly placed gazebo. Our first thought was where would we hid a geocache here. A few obvious ideas were tried. Then we started on less on obvious ideas and discovered a geocache that was cleverly hidden. We tried to take in the view, but it looks like the trees might have grown a bit over time, as they do.Our thank we send to ROSS1957 for the cache left for us to find.
Thanks Ross1957! A favourite point from me. Very clever yet simple. Greetings from Orange NSW
Passing through the area on a fine spring day collecting a couple of smileys on the way. Clever hide - FP awarded. Thanks @ROSS1957 for placing Pelican Point Wetlands for the GC community to find !!
Excellent find! Very good hide, my wife gave me an idea and I followed through, very exciting! The notepad in the cache is running low on space, but everything is still intact. Thanks!
Day #2. I have had WAGB, and caching in WA, on my todo list for some time. I contemplated booking in earlier in the year but couldnt commit. Two weeks ago I decided I might just be able to make it work. So a mad scramble began. Last minute flights, accommodation and cache plans - tick, tick, tick! After being awake for almost 24hrs yesterday, I enjoyed a good nights rest and it is time to go again. Focusing on some caches and LGAs north of the river today, this is just one of the many great caches found.A clever hide here. No one around at night so I was able to search uninterrupted. A favourite point for your efforts.A big thanks goes to ROSS1957 for taking the time to add Pelican Point Wetlands to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).
Haven't been caching in a while, this was a really good reintroduction, TYFTC. I signed in the first place there was enough room i.e. page 2.
Unlike the Duke of Edinburgh who would have been chauffered to the lookout, we were on a ride along the waters edge and came past. It's hard to believe you're in the city here. After checking a few things the cache was discovered. Well done, that's a great hide! TFTC ROSS1957.
I've seen similar in Albany, great cache, awarded a favourite point. TFTC
Out n about with Graceling123 and Ambyfergs and Mr + little Oliver - beautiful weather - TFTC
Found yesterday but forgot to log. Awesome first cache on my return to WA, fave point awarded. TFTC
Disabled while some maintenance is done. This cache is becoming a pain as some local kids know where it is and keep tampering with it.
Looked in many a spot and couldn't find anything. After mounting problems with no cache to be found and only a log book. May need CO welfare check please.
Found where the mint tin used to live with a log inside it loose. Signed and returned as found. Don't have a mint tin with me to fix it, but maybe a future finder can bring one to protect the log awesome camo. Tftc
relogging my old finds after an unfortunate user name mishap Thanks for the cache from days gone by
No question in my mind that this is the cache, and a good one too. The logbook is in great shape despite the absence of the inner container. TFTH!

Pretty sure we found it but no proper log. Have signed what was there and replaced as found
Beautiful spot no birds today but lots of mozzie pretty sure it needs maitinence as this was all that was left of it so we didn't sign it
Today we had rented bikes and was planning a lot of caching, but ended up biking along the water to Fremantle and back the other side, a total of 58km, so unfortunately not time for many stops as we had to be back in time for returning our rental bikes. We stopped at a few special caches and this was one of them. Thanks for the and greetings from &
We added a new log, the caches is more waist high

TFTC sadly it was missing and to add insult to injury... DONT come here at night searching unless you want to get absolutely hammered by mosquitoes ️
Found where the cache should be however the cache is sadly missing. Would have been an amazing cache otherwise.
Excelent hide and camouflage. Took a few minutes to find. Mint tin missing but log there. Bring a pen.
Not sure if this was the spot, co ordinates match and its one high but nothing here.. Not sure if this is where String Been placed his note??
Also found empty slot for cache. Would have been a clever cache in its time.
We found the special hides hole for this cache but unfortunately the cache container and log has gone missing in action. The cover for the hides hole was on the ground when we arrived.

Thanks for the cache! Seems the mint tin is now missing as well as the log! Found the camo! Happy to message the CO the image if required. Didn’t want to post spoilers.
Great hide and cache intact, clue helped me from inside.
Has makeshift log, unfortunately was an unplanned outing, had lunch at Bayside (good food/service btw), and didn't have my caching kit with me, needs a logbook that suits the size of mint tin if your heading here to find.
A favourite from me.

This is a great little hide!! Snuck out whilst the rest of the family was asleep to collect a few smiley faces. I left a TB
Wow. Thats very good. Another spot I never would have come to. And to have a brilliant hide even better TFTC
Really clever construction and found by using the hint. As per previous logs, the mint tin and logbook are missing.
Great camo. Temp log still inside. Grabbed it after a work conference at the sailing club
As stated this cache is no longer in its camo. I have added a temporary log inside until maintenance can be carried out. I have signed and sent a pic as proof.
Found the cache camo, but yeah the tin and log is gone.
Needs to be replaced. Did the next best thing and signed the camo instead for now

I really loved the well constructed camouflage, but unfortunately the container and log sheet have gone missing from their host.

It was placed in a really cool place... And if you look around near it you might be able to see birds.
Found it! Great hiding spot; definitely a favourite. Forgot the pen, so here’s a photo instead.
