Out and about on a month long trek around the south west with Raymac972 picking up a few caches while we site see and relaxThankyou to SeabreezeOZ for placing Cane Break Pool for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 15:03This is find number 478 for meTFTC
Quick and straightforward find. Enjoyed a little walk, plenty of wildflowers out this time of year. TFTC
Having had a wonderful weekend in Margaret River the geocaching plan for TaurusSix and myself today was to collect a few more geocaches in the township and then take the long and winding way home via Nannup and double back through Busselton. First up though it is a nice long brunch and a stroll around the Main Street of the town . The weather is very inclement today, rainbow weather, showers on showers off . Given we are still drying off our shoes from the very rainy day yesterday we are not as keen to get soaked again today. So it looks like selective caching is the order of the day.
This is our ninth cache find of the day and wow what a spot. There were muggles there when we arrived so we needed to be a bit cautious but they soon left and we had the place to ourselves both to find the cache and enjoy the scenery. Another place that we would not have come to if it was not for geocaching. Thanks for the cache and it receives a favourite point from us. TFTC

We found your cache whilst on a trip down south with the extended family. As we approached the area I was afraid this cache was going to be burnt but we found it safe in its hidey hole. Signed the log. All is well.
This place is awesome. Love the head high kangaroo paws and always love an ammo box. TFTC.
Found with Sharknsparkle and Chilli a great spot. Everytime we have tried coming out the road has been crazy. It was a nice drive in today.
Hi there SeabreezeOZ.
We found your cache **"Cane Break Pool"** at 9:20:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 23728).
As Ian is an ex chalkie (well more adult ed actually) we decided to attempt some of the nearby Chalkies Challenge caches - as well as any others that we would pass on our route. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive, walks and the scenery - even though the flies were particularly "sticky" today.. We found 6 caches & DNF'd 2.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends. Thanks also for placing a large cache container here. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache (with swaps) here.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you SeabreezeOZ for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

pug002 found it 16/1/2019 on our square dance weekend. Lovely spot after we finally got there TFTC SeabreezeOZ
Found nice and easily in such a lovely spot! Definitely worth a favourite point! Tftc
A big day out with Barnzy12 and OOHYEH, an early start to get to Margaret River. From there we made our way around town to witchcliff and further afield, then back up towards Busselton / Dunsborough prior to heading home again. Multiple caches found during the day and another great day in the South West TFTH
Another big day of caching with Barnzy12 and cravo10.
Met up with them at the servo on forest highway and drove down to witchcliff first to pick up all the puzzle caches we had solved then the finals and a few more caches in the area. Then drove to dunsborough as we still had a couple of challenge caches to grab and a few more in bussellton before heading home again. A great day of caching with most caches found quickly and a few that took a bit of searching as the co-ords seemed to be out. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches.

A huge days caching down in the Southwest with Cravo10 and OOH YEH. We got up bright and early to get a head start on the day as we had a lot of driving to complete.
We met up with mrs OOH YEH son Forrest Highway and continued down to Margaret River-Witchcliffe to complete the Rails to Trails series of puzzles which have taken a lot of work to finally solve. A beautiful walk along the tracks and thankfully all nice finds on logical spots of good sized containers. A few of them had us expanding our GZs significantly but with logical hides a bit of caching sense helped make a quick find.
After walking the trail we got back into the car and completed the final caches in each of the series before hitting the backroads of Margaret river for some old school country caching.
We meandered our way back to Dunsborough where we finally ticked off the last of the challenge cache series before making our way back to Perth with a couple of stops on the way home for some puzzles in Busselton.
Thanks to the local COs for a great day out.

Would be good for swimming on a warmer day...great little spot to come to for a cache. Thanks
Very nice spot for a simmers day, or even after the rains to watch the rapids. Very cool cache!
Great camping spot. A bit too cool to swim while we camped here for 3 days. Great cache.
The road was rough and my lowered and modified car struggled with a few scrapes and bangs but still made it. It was a hot day so a swim would have been nice however I didn't plan ahead and I wasn't swimming in jeans so no dip for me. Instead a quick cache. TFTC. Have a fav for bringing me out here.
Found during our holiday in Australia.
Thanks to all COs.
Greetings from Belgium.

Been geocaching in places to include a swim over the last week and 3 times now we havent been able to swim! 1st day I wasnt well after overdoing it walking a long way to, exploring GZ and from the cache, the 2nd time Wellington Dam National Park (Honeymoon Pool) was closed due to high fire danger and today we were delayed after a large tree fell across the road and by the time we got to Cane Break it was too overcast and cold for a swim. But we did find the cache! TFTC NTNL
Last one for today . A nice quick find here and now off to set up camp
I had an RDO and decided to head off with the swag and see where I ended up! The weather looked a bit dodgy but I risked it and had a full day caching before heading home. I had a few caches highlighted to grab and any others that looked interesting along the way.
SeabreezeOZ - jinta29 found your cache Cane Break Pool on 12/06/2015 4:10 pm. This is my find #3291 and find #37 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Lovely sunny winters day for a drive to check out the pool. Last time I was here I was about 12 yrs old.
Thanks for bringing me back.
Thanks for bringing me back.
Oh what a magnificent spot! This is why we love geocaching, it takes us to places we didn't know existed. Will surely come back here for a swim and maybe even camping. Cache was found quick and it had excellent swaps for kids. Kids loved this one.
At the moment I'm on a work and travel backpacking year through the world. Most of the time I'll spend in Australia and I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge during this trip. The chance of having a moving home zone should be takes, as it will make the challenge so much easier.
Today I took the chance to have a day off and head over here, to find my cache of the day a bit out of the towns.
After I tried to get Chalkies Challenge VI - A Bush Christening and had to realize, that you definitely need a 4WD, or walk on foot when arriving from the east, I decided, to give this one try. It was quite a hard challenge for my Ford Falcon and I think, I broke something in the car, but I made it to the camping ground and this beautiful Lake.
Found the cache without any problems.

We go here quite often so I was thrilled to find out there was a geocache here, nice quick find on a hot summers day. TYFTC.

We spent a lovely 3 nights (despite some rain) being the ones camping at Cane Brake Pool. A great location and good to be able to find a cache whilst there. TFTC
Found whilst camping there for a few days with the geokids and friends. Introduced the friends to the fun of caching, now known as Cowcill Clan. TFTC.
Passing through the area on the way to Margaret River and thought we would stop to check out the campsite. It seems to be a popular spot with at least half a dozen campsites set up, luckily the cache was well away from them. It didn't take too long to track down and log.

Love this place and the swimming was so good, even though a bit cold. Camped for 4 days. Saw a huge black snake near the cache so be careful in the summer.
Ahhh! Beautiful cool swim after a hot day and cache to top it off. Let kids search for this one and they found it easily. Love this spot. TFTC.
Found this cache after geokids had fun in the nearby waterhole TFTH Took trackable.
Check out Cane pool and the camping area. Dropped of TB, more Kangaroos here...........
Thanks SeabreezeOZ for the cache.
Thanks SeabreezeOZ for the cache.
A lovely drive through the forest to get to this cache.
GPS battery went flat just as we arrived in the parking area. Grrrrr. Lucky I do make sure I carry spares with me.
What a lovely spot and ideal for camping. Three tents set up in the camp ground.
Found cache, signed log and put it back just before a muggle with child approached.
Find 3/24 and 2 DNF for todays effort.
Thanks for the cache.

Decided to take the kids for a drive to this location that I've heard of before. Great spot, and will be returning in the summer for a swim.
Headed down south a day early for the WA Goes Big in 2013 Event weekend. Had a bit of a shock at this one, but will leave that story for telling some other time. Quick find. Dropped off a trackable while I was here. Took some photos too to show my dad, as he is a frequent visitor to the south west and this might just be a spot that he doesn't know about. Thanks for bringing me here SeabreezeOZ
Found it! Our very first one! Involved a small bush walk - took a while as we thought we would spot it from the track. Kids super excited to open the treasure box. Took out key ring bag, put in saddle club pony. Enjoy! A serene picnic spot.
We loved the drive into this area. Completely new to us. Being mid Autum, we reneged on the swim. Perhaps another time.

Out for a spot of camping with Kimakazi in the SW for the weekend, Camped here for the night.. Plenty of people but quiet, nice place... We were joined in the morning by a beautiful goanna who dropped by for morning tea... TFTH
I love holidays!! Means a new adventure!
The 7th find for Blondie and I in our southern adventure.
Top spot, we ummm'd and ahhh'd about camping here, but being early in the day we pressed on. We will be back though. A worthy vote getter simply for location alone.

This spot proved to be extremely popular on the long weekend with lots of muggles enjoying a dip in the nearby pool. Had to be careful with all the muggles about but the co-ords were spot on which made for a very quick find. Thanks for bringing us to a spot we didn't know of before today.
